We enjoyed the comfortable and functional space, conveniently close to public transportation. We explored the Navy Pier, University of Chicago, Second City comedy club, the "Bean", the Field Museum and a number of restaurants around Chicago, all accessible from the public transportation system. Having this as a comfortable home base for our 4 day trip helped make our trip fantastic. We also spent a great afternoon at the beach that is a short walk away. The host and the space are top notch, and we would happily stay there next time we schedule a trip to Chicago.

This listing promised a lot... the property delivered. Owners have clearly put a lot of care into this property, it seems to be meticulously maintained, and they are quite responsive. Our family stayed here and felt quite at home (even when the weather got a little hairy for West Coast tourists, lol). We comfortably used CTA (the L) to get everywhere-- it's two blocks to a Red Line stop. The Rogers Park neighborhood had some gems even though we spent a lot of our time downtown.
Highly recommend this place. This was the kind of stay that had me briefly checking real estate listings down the street before remembering I can't just pick up and move.

HAD A WONDERFUL TIME

Very clean and safe. Quiet. Otherwise basic/standard. Not luxury. Communication with host (who we did not meet) was fine but impersonal.

This was great for our party of six. Super close to city transit, which was great since we moved about the city five of our six days. It was a little far from the airport, but was able to get an Uber to and from. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time, close enough to key landmarks in Chicago but also removed so my parents could take a rest from the hustling and bustling of the city. Gary was a fantastic host, always ready to help and the property was well organized, clean and welcoming. The neighborhood is walkable and well connected, I will try to stay there again for my next trip to Chicago. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoyed a wonderful graduation weekend in Gary's place just steps from Loyola and a quick drive to NU in Evanston. The house is comfortable and charming. There is easy walking access to the Target and the Rogers Park Social House (a fave hangout). Highly recommend!

We traveled from Atlanta, Ga for a bridal shower in Chicago. We loved this home and the location. We were able to attend the bridal shower in the suburbs and ride the train into the city for our site seeing excursions! Walking distance to many amenities Everything was just as advertised. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was conveniently located for us, as parents of a Loyola student. It was a bright and clean space that had all the amenities we needed. Check in and out were seamless, and the owner is incredibly responsive to messages and helpful. It’s so nice to feel at home after a busy day, be able to cook or store food or have place to rest between events. Far better than a hotel. Thank you for sharing this lovely space. If there’s a next time the balcony and the backyard would also be great!

When walking through lovely old Chicago neighborhoods I will admire the beautiful old home. I always wondered what the inside of those homes look like, and I just found out when staying in this lovely property. It is just what I imagined it would be - elegant, spacious and beautifully decorated. The unit was so comfortable and well appointed, and close to so many things to do. Really close to the Loyola Lakeshore campus! We will definitely look this property up when our daughter starts college at Loyola next year.

From the location to the neighborhood Luxury Loyola hit it out of the park. Gary was available at every turn to help us out from parking questions to the chic appointed space. This truly was a very comfortable and well appointed space! We enjoyed the weekend with friends and family! Thanks again Gary for all your help! We look forward to another trip to the windy city and will definitely try to book this awesome space!

Great location (within a few blocks to Loyola and a few miles to Northwestern and DePaul), clean, plenty of space and all the amenities you need. The owner Gary, is very responsive and had great communication throughout our stay. Parking was a breeze. There is a reason why he has so many 5 star reviews. Trust me when I say stay here.

Our group of 6 was sad to leave. This place was more spacious than it appears in photos and well stocked with anything you might need. Gary is super attentive and quickly took care of minor issue we had. We felt very safe in this area and enjoyed being able to walk to nice beach and many restaurants. Also loved the front balcony to enjoy coffee and the beautiful garden for happy hour with Gary’s darling dog! Beds comfy too! Honestly not one complaint from anyone in our group. Thank you Gary for being wonderful host!

The apartment is tastefully decorated, has plenty of storage space, and comes with all daily utilities (hairdryer, kitchen utensils, soap ...). The furniture and the room layout are well-thought-out, too.
Throughout our 4 week’s stay and before, Gary’s cleaning staff did a wonderful job to keep the apartment always in a very clean condition.
The neighborhood with its nice trees along the roadside is appealing, too. The nearby beach, parking, gym, good shopping facilities and the proximity to the Red Line with direct access to downtown are additional advantages of the location.
The check-in and check-out process is well organized and provided us with all necessary information at the right point in time.
Gary’s support throughout and before our stay was awesome.
All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and would love to come back anytime!
