We stayed here summer 2022. There are many stairs to the water. They are very sturdy but this year we have a baby so I didn't care to try them again. The place was beautiful. Well kept and clean. Glen was super helpful.

This cottage was so well equipped. Very clean and Greg was a superb host. Got back to me right away when I had questions. It got pretty warm when we were there but plenty of fans to help cool off. Would highly recommend this place. Hope to get back.

Owner very cooperative and responsive. Cabin booklet very informative. Enjoyable for all ages. There are 61 stairs to lake but they are lovely stone steps. Lots of lake toys available and cottage well equipped including a large Vermont Casting barbecue. Would definitely return!

Fabulous Retreat
From the moment we arrived the stress just melted away! The cottage is as described. Very welcoming, clean, private, child and pet friendly. The view of the lake is breathtaking! The Muskoka room where you can enjoy your meals and take in the view is such a bonus. Many hours spent at the dock and the fire pit. Our host, Greg was always available and prompt with responses to any questions we had. Cant wait to return next summer! Thanks Greg!

Summer Respite
We spent 3 weeks at this cottage. The owner has accurately reflected the cottage. The upper deck was very large and sturdy with amazing view over the lake and the bonus of a lovely sunset every night. There are a number of steps down to the water, but the steps are concrete, safe and accessible. My husband, unfortunately, damaged one of the seats of the canoe , but it was fixed the next day at no charge! Greg (owner) was very responsive and helpful. We had 3 weeks of a wonderful relaxing break from Toronto

Amazing Stay
Such a beautiful lake, and a cottage with everything we needed for an awesome stay. The Muskoka room was an incredible place to eat all of our meals, and it was a luxury to have a dishwasher and a second bathroom for me and three teens. Thanks for your hospitality, Greg. We hope to visit again next year.

Fantastic All Around!
This cottage has amazing views over the lake with sunsets that you never get tired of. The place was clean and well equipped. We made great use of the Muskoka room as a dining and gaming area. The lakeside fire pit was a hit for the whole family. The lake with its abundant fish and clear water was awesome for boating and swimming.

Gem in the Kawarthas
The Cottage exceeded all expectations. No neighbours to look at while in the cottage, had all the accessories you could ever need and the views are breathtaking. Did I mention catching fish right off the dock? We feel very lucky to have found this place.

5-Stars host and property
Greg had everything under control from sending out info package a month prior to our stay to getting back to us with any inquiries. The location is great for a relaxing stay with nice little town for day visits. The property is great and equipped with everything you may need. Internet can be spotty so it was the perfect reason to unplug.

Great Cottage
We had a great stay. The cottage was great, the listing was accurate and we had wonderful weather for most of the week. The dock gets sun for the majority of the day to early evening which was great for swimming. We would definitely look to stay again. Stairs down to the lake and bonfire pit were well lit at night. Muskoka room was great for meals and to play board games and cards.

An Outstanding Stay
Greg is great to work with. Responds to texts and calls immediately. Eager to address any issues. The property is exactly as advertised. Very private!! 500 feet of shoreline! They are eager to share anything in the cottage, including LOTS of children's toys. Our grandson had more than he could ever hope to play with -- a sand table on the deck, a sand box, playhouse and "kitchen" down by the dock, lots of toys in the closets, etc. Nearby, don't miss out on ice-cream at the Stoney Lake Market and Grill, and the beautiful children's beach at Quarry Bay Beach. A couple special surprises: 1) a dishwasher! 2) A half-bath in addition to the full bath. Especially helpful when you've got a large family sharing the space together.

Quiet and comfortable retreat
We loved our week at this cottage. Clean, comfortable, with great views of the lake from 3 different levels and lots of deck chairs to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed. The screened dining area let us enjoy the cool evening breezes without insects. We loved the DVD selection, particularly on the one rainy day. Very relaxing!

Beautiful Property and Stay
Greg's cottage was amazing. Well equipped he really thought of everything. Location is beautiful and provided a perfect long-weekend getaway, quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean, well kept, and you can tell someone really loves this place. He treated us like a friend staying the weekend, he was prompt with all responses and had more than enough resources to get us through the weekend worry free. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful cottage retreat
Our family stayed at Greg's cottage in August this year. The property was advertised and Greg was very helpful in all facets of the rental and responding to questions. This is wonderfully quiet property all provides a great retreat for famlies (we were 6 adults, but it is also kid friendly). Nice cottage and a great property as long as you are comfortable with stairs. See the picture to get an idea of the landscape. Great sunsets on a quiet lake!

Weekend Getaway
Our family of 5 plus four legged buddy Richard enjoyed a weekend getaway on White Lake. The cottage provided a beautiful view of the lake and we managed to capture a lovely sunset on the night with no rain. Unfortunately it was a pretty wet weekend but the cottage accommodated our group well. There is a great spot to hold your campfires with firewood included. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and dishwasher/laundry a nice touch. We bar bq each night and appreciated the large golf umbrella to keep my husband dry during the rain. The walkie talkies were another great touch to eliminate unnecessary walks up and down the steps from boat dock to cottage. Its just a short drive into Lakefield where we visited the flea market searching for treasures. Discovered the Kawartha Butter Tart Factory too and we all enjoyed the warm apple fritters that we agreed were the best we ever tasted not to mention their large variety of butter tart flavours. Greg was very prompt and accommodating with our reservation inquires. He even connected us with a cottager on the lake to arrange for boat launch. Thanks Greg for a great getaway.

Great cottage for families!
We had a lovely week at Greg's cottage. He was a great host. The lake is warm and clean. The wading area would be great for older children but not great for babies, as it's a rocky entrance. Water shoes needed to avoid zebra mussels :) The cottage is clean and welcoming. We had six adults and one baby and were very comfortable in the space. The deck offers lovely views for sunsets and the screened-in porch room is perfect for evening meals. Overall a great experience. Thanks Greg!

Great getaway with a great view
Pictures are accurate. Great clean space, three bedrooms, with 6 of us, 1.5 bathrooms was wonderful. Child and pet friendly!!
The deck with a view onto the lake was fantastic! Muskoka room offered a bug free evening. Lake access with dock and toys for kids available. (Too cold for swimming this time).
The owners have clearly labelled all equipment (thermostats, dishwasher, breakers) and provided a Guidebook (PDF email and a hard copy at the cottage).
The driveway is tricky to manoeuvre with multiple vehicles - leave space at the bottom to three point turn.

What an amazing find!
My wife and I recently stayed at the cottage with our four legged friend and had an amazing time! The cottage guide Greg provided ahead of time was incredibly useful and told us what we needed to know. When we did have a couple of questions, Greg was very helpful and quick to respond .The cottage was incredibly clean and welcoming and we felt right at home. The views from the deck are amazing, as is the privacy you get from the surrounding trees. We couldn't have a better place and are already planning our next trip!
