The location was perfect! It has everything, and I mean everything, you need. It was spotless and comfortable. Jen was a wonderful host who was always available. I’m looking to rent it for my family next year. All of us, ages 4 to 68, loved it. Thank you Jen!!

We had a great stay! The location was wonderful for downtown shopping, eating, marina and fountain show. Short walk to all. Well stocked home and great communication from host!

The house was great and the 10 of us had plenty of room. The location couldn’t be better. However, one of the bunk beds was questionable and should be replaced. There was a serious lack of spoons and knives were dull. Aside from those items, it was great!! We enjoyed the week.

Great location, just a few blocks to town, farmer's market and river front. We enjoyed biking to beach/lighthouse and exploring town. This clean rental had everything we needed for a wonderful gathering of siblings and their spouses. Comfortable beds, flat screenTV's, well stocked kitchen, grill, 4 bedrooms,
3 1/2 bathrooms and much much more at this house.
Lovely house in a lovely town!

The house is big, clean and in a great location. Our kids had plenty of room to spread out and have their own spaces. Jennifer was super responsive and we’re looking forward to coming back in the future.

Blissful stay
Loved this property! We stayed there as a multi-generational family - kids, parents, grandparents - and had more than enough room for all of us. The kids even got their own floor (!) which we all loved. The house felt very homey, well-equipped, and was close to everything we needed. Our host was very easy to get a hold of when we had a couple of questions and was super friendly. A great stay all around!

Stayed here with my husband and son for a week in July and another family joined us for 4 nights.. plenty of room, clean, new, well decorated, and one if the best equipped homes we’ve ever stayed in. The owners thought of everything and were so responsive and helpful.. easy walk to downtown grand haven. Very convenient..

Great location and cozy
Great location to watch fireworks or listen to musical water fountains. Lots of useful little stuff like kids books, boogie boards and beach toys. Easy to walk to downtown.

Well built and nice
This was our second straight year renting the house for a family vacation (5 adults, 2 kids). It fits our needs very well as to location and layout. We like the newness of the place including the appliances and flooring. Everything actually works. For our group, the 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths work out perfectly.
It is a short walk to downtown, Chinook Pier, and the boardwalk. The beach is always the main event, but may require transportation. There is a trolly that runs to the beach from Chinook Pier to the beach and back for 75 cents and the driver is also tour guide. Fun! This year we did Michigan Adventure Amusement Park (about a 25 minute drive north). Holland and Saugatuck are short drives south. Also, there is currently a vacant lot across the street for the kids to throw the football or play baseball.
We would highly recommend staying at this VRBO.

Rental Review
We rented this home in October 2011. We wanted to get our family together, it had been many years since we were all in one place at the same time. Mission accomplished, we had the best Family Reunion you can imagine. It was a busy week, filled with a lot of fun and laughter. We have many fond memories of that week, and will treasure them for a lifetime. The owner is wonderful, responds promptly, and will assist you with all of your needs. You won't be disappointed in this beautiful, spacious home. It is a treasure!

I took my three daughters (13, 11, and 2) on a last hurrah before school. As soon as we pulled up I couldn't wait to see the inside! It was all I had hoped for and much, much more! The layout allowed my older girls to hang out downstairs and do their thing at night and I couldn't hear a thing! The location of the house itself is about three or four blocks from the downtown area and about a two minute drive to the beach. We spent alot of time at the beach--which was very clean and so relaxing! We also walked downtown and checked out the many shops they had to offer. We made pottery and they made sure they had it done in time for us to leave! Lots of nice restaurants to choose from. Now back to the house--it was super clean--had everything you could ever need. I felt at home and the owner was extremely accommodating and great to work with! I hope to make it back very soon--only for a longer period of time!!

This brand new home is a great place to gather. The floor plan lends itself to three distinct sleeping areas giving everyone privacy and their own space. Lower level bedroom has two sets of bunk beds next to a bathroom and sitting area with TV. The upstairs has a master suite that has a queen size bed ( in the sunken bedroom), bath with two sinks and shower, and a walk in closet. A spacious open area at the top ot the stairs opens onto a small balcony. Off of this area there is a full bath, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with twin beds. The main floor has the sitting/dinning area, kitchen, and half bath. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had when looking into this property and made us feel at home there. We loved being able to park our bikes in the garage while parking the two cars off street on the parking pad. It was fun to walk or bike to most places we wanted to go avoiding the problem of parking a car. We biked to the beach, to Duncan Wood, to Mulligan's Hollow, and around Spring Lake. It was a short walk downtown to the board walk and musical fountain. One evening, a huge coal ship entertained us moving up the river.Michigan Adventure was a 45 minute drive north. Grand Rapids Airport was about and hour away which was handy for flying in our Maine group. Our group was made up of two 60-somethings, their daughter, her husband and two children ( 5 yr and 4 yr),and their son and his wife.We all agree this was the perfect way to have a family vacation with various ages and activities and that this was the perfect house for us.We will always remember this vacation as the perfect way to celebrate our 40th Anniversary.Bob and Karen
