About this house rental
Awesome location- Ski-in/ Ski-Out to TollHouse Lift*, and in summer hike, mountain bike or sit by the pool right from the front door of our stylish townhouse. This location can’t be beat, so close to the best of Stowe's skiing and hiking and biking trails, restaurants, craft breweries, and shopping, in every season. Please note before reading on- absolutely no parties and no pets allowed. Split level 3 bedroom (each on own floor), 2 full baths, with foosball, fireplace, great table for board games by the fire, super-clean, great beds. We love staying in boutique hotels so we decorated our country home to feel like one. Beautiful setting, strong WiFi and fun space make this a perfect place to have a vacation or work-ation. Wood floors throughout with exposed beams, soaring ceilings in the main living spaces and lots of windows make this in ideal space to unwind in nature in a modern, stylish, décor. It's a flexible layout - great for a romantic weekend but also works great for groups of friends and families because each bedroom is separate and on it's own level. (note: we have enough beds to comfortably sleep 9 but that might feel a bit loud in the open plan living spaces so I list for 8. ) Primary bedroom has a king memory foam bed and ensuite bathroom, a computer desk and smart tv. Second bedroom has a queen memory foam bed and a twin daybed. Right next to it is the second bathroom. Lower level has comfortable sleeping for 4 with twin daybeds and trundles, all with memory foam mattresses. (Note: bathroom is up a small flight of stairs). This room also doubles as a family room - a great space for kids to watch movies on the smart tv/blu ray/dvd player and play games. Memory foam mattresses in all rooms have layers to achieve temperature control, and we use hypoallergenic bedding and pillows. Guests frequently tell me how much they love the beds! Bedrooms have room darkening cordless cellular shades for great sleeping-in.
Kitchen is beautifully appointed for cooks, if you decide to not go to one of the amazing local restaurants nearby. Stainless steel appliances plus microwave, french press and drip brewer for coffee, 4 slice toaster, coffee grinder, blender, enough dishes, cooking and serving pieces to enjoy dinner at home. Farmhouse table comfortably seats 10.
The adjacent open plan living area includes a cozy built-in conversation pit in front of the new, heat generating, gas fireplace. There are plenty of books for you to borrow, comfy seating for 8-10. Flick the switch and a warm fire blazes without the hassle of having to build it or put it out. The 65 inch tv with cable as well as a bluray and smart tv, can be easily rolled in front of the fireplace area for cozy movie nights. The second part of the living space has a foosball table and a place to set one of Vermont's amazing craft beers down while you play.
We have a second floor patio - a beautiful spot to look at the trees, read and have a coffee or tea. In the back is our large ground level paved patio with zero gravity recliners, long table with 6 chairs and charcoal Weber grill (before the snow comes).
A plus is the extra large shed with a lock adjacent to the mudroom to easily park your bikes, or lock up your skis. This second entrance, 'Mudroom', has space to hang your coats, store your ski accessories and your boots- rain or snow. It also has a dryer so you can dry your wet gear when you walk in.
There is also a fabulous, very large, pool (open mid June to Labor Day) with plenty of lounge chairs, grass to play on, and eating tables, about 3 minute walk down the driveway.
We love discovering great trails, swimming holes, restaurants and bars, and are happy to offer advice and recommendations. The mudroom door has a keyless lock.
Parking is outside and there is a little paved path to front door- and beautiful gardens and landscaping in the summer
Located at the base of the Toll Road and Toll House Double ski lift*, we have a prime ski in ski out location in the winter- *when there is enough snow. There is also a shuttle stop right at our entrance off rte 108 if you want to ski outside of lift operating hours or there is not enough natural snow. In the summer, hike/bike on the 50+ miles of single and double track Mountain Biking trails in Stowe, and access to all that the mountain resort and surrounding cross country and mountain bike trails have to offer. We are also .75 miles from the trailhead to famed Bingham Falls/ swimming hole, the Cross Country center and it’s vast hiking/biking trail system, and 1 mile from the trailhead to the Stowe Bike Path. Too many great restaurants, bars, breweries in close proximity to mention here, but I'm happy to offer recommendations!
* check the Stowe Mountain website for Toll House Double lift operations schedule. There are three trails to ski back home when there is enough snow- the beginner Toll Road, The Stowe Derby Trail (which goes almost to our front door) and the steep and more difficult Powerline Trail.

Beautiful mountain town home with all the amenities that you could ask for. Spacious for a family of seven. The property owner was very communicative before, during and after the stay.

Very convenient location with great accommodations. Erica, the host, was very responsive and easy to interact with.

Erica is a wonderful host. Very responsive. The house was clean and beds comfortable. She had all the tea and coffee accouterments. We loved the outdoor pool!

Six of us stayed in this well appointed three bedroom unit in Stow, Vermont!
We had a wonderful stay. It was very easy to reach the owner with any questions we had with typical response time being less than five minutes.
We were comfortable, had full access to climate control and all of the beds had good mattresses.
The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked several meals there for our group.
It’s a quiet place and living room furniture is comfortable and encourages people sitting around to have conversation.
Although turn the fireplace on for a few minutes, we did not keep it on due to the recent heat wave. However, it worked very well.
I would definitely stay here again if I was coming back to this area.

We were in town for an event at the Trapp Family Lodge and needed lodging overnight. The home is well appointed with plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out amongst the 3 bedrooms, and the kitchen/living room was spacious. Location was convenient. Pool area was nice. Would return.

A lovely spot! Very clean and bright, with a well-outfitted kitchen. The host was an excellent communicator. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo that was a short walk to the lift to hit the slopes as soon as they opened.
The setup of the condo was fantastic. Main floor was great to hangout with the family and when you needed some downtime, the bedrooms were quiet and private.

Our group was very comfortable at this property. Exactly as described in the listing, very clean and well appointed with all cooking and bathing essentials. The location was great for ski in/ski out and the Toll House lift was an easy walk from the unit, even with our younger children. The host was very responsive to all our questions and very helpful. We would absolutely rent this place again!

Property was good
A lot of rules to deal with keeps it from being a five star review.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to spread out and very easy ski-in, ski-out. Erica is an excellent host and responded quickly to any question we had.
Next time we visit Stowe, we will definitely rent again!

Terrific ski-in ski-out.

We had a wonderful time skiing! Our kids were ages 12, 10, 8 and 4. The toll house lift was, thankfully open, so it was an easy walk to the green slope. Once your skis were on it was about a 50 yard downhill ski to lift so very easy. My 4 year old was able to walk it easily in ski boots. If the toll house lift wasn’t open the walk to rt.108 would be more challenging in ski boots with little kids bc it’s downhill and probably closer to 15 min walk in hard bottomed ski boots with young kids. If toll house lift wasn’t open and we had to take the bus to the resort , I would have told my kids to put on snow boots and I would have carried their ski boots in a boot bag and got a locker at the resort. The bus is free and will take you up and down rt 108. You really don’t need to use you car bc the bus schedule is interactive on a map so you can watch to see where next bus is.
Erica was great and offered many suggestions and answered many of my questions very quickly. The house was very very clean and my kids enjoyed playing the games and Foosball when not skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with nice items. My kids are big eaters so I was very happy to see I had the ability to cook like I do at home bc Erica had nice large pots and pans! It was great! My kids loved the downstairs bunk room with the TV. The kids had a place to escape to watch a movie after a long day of skiing. They also slept really well downstairs bc it was dark and quiet. Thank you Erica!

We had a wonderful time here in late January. Plenty of snow for us to be able to make the short walk across the street to access the Toll House lift. The trails down to that lift are green, so it's accessible to all levels of skiers. The condo has everything you need to have all your meals there, if you choose. Very cozy and comfortable. Erica is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely look to stay here again when we return to Stowe.

We had an excellent stay at this property! Erica was super responsive for any of my multiple questions leading up to the trip, and during our stay (although we really didn't need her much during our stay as everything is clearly explained in the paperwork). The location is excellent and the house is absolutely lovely- we felt right at home! We would definitely rent again.

This is a great 3 bedroom condo just uphill from the Toll House lift. Rooms were comfortable and the split-level layout gave each room a sense of privacy. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and staples, and the table easily fit 8. The host, Erica, was very responsive and helpful, and checkin and checkout were straightforward. The Toll House lift was not running during our stay, but it is an easy shuttle ride from the Toll House parking lot to the main base area, or a short drive if you prefer (the parking fee at the main base is waived if you have 4+ people in the car). We left the skis on top of the car but the condo has a spacious storage shed off the side of the building that can hold all your winter gear. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Erica’s. The location was prime and easy to find. We loved everything about it!
10.0
The house is really nice and kept up and it’s in a beautiful location. It’s cozy and nice for cooking some meals together. We stayed with 5 adults and felt that 6 adults would probably be the max for comfort, maybe 8 with kids in the smaller beds. However, there are quite a lot of rules during the stay.

We stayed in this great house for the week of July 4. It was a week of mixed weather and the house was perfect to keep us entertained with some games for the kids, great set up in the family room, and a foosball table! The kitchen was well appointed and well stocked. It was a short walk to the pool and a quick drive into town. Fun stay!

We came for a quick trip to do some spring skiing and celebrate our twins 16th bday!
The host was so attentive and was even able to give us a late checkout so my teens could sleep in and not rush on their special day. Plenty of room for our family of 5, extremely comfortable beds, every amenity you could think of and all sorts of little special touches. We will be back- thank you!

The condo was clean, spacious, and just perfect for our ski getaway (and Super Bowl viewing) with friends! We had a great time skiing at Stowe and retiring back to the condo in the evenings to relax and hang out. We would definitely recommend and rent again!

We had a great NYE stay with friends! The location was perfect for skiing and visiting local breweries. We especially enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen.

My family loved this property. Super cozy and charming, pretty fall trees to gaze at while enjoying a meal. In a quiet location and close to everything Stowe has to offer. It is a townhouse condo, so be aware that there are many stairs.

Great location
The condo was nicely organized and centrally located on Stowe. The lift closed for a couple of days due to the lack of snow but it opened back up and the conditions were great! We really enjoyed our stay, bed were very comfortable, the layout was spread out enugh that we could have family and friends come up and there was enough room. If I had one complaint, it would be that the living room is very small and the furniture is not very comfortable. We didn’t spend a lot of time hanging out there, so it didn’t really matter, but worth mentioning.

Wonderful stay
We stayed for 3 days in February and had a wonderful time. The townhouse is clean, modern, and very conveniently located for ski-in/ski-out.
Our group of six adults fit very comfortably. We prepared dinner in the house one evening without any difficulties. The kitchen is complete and dining table is large enough for more than just six. The living room area around the fireplace is very comfortable, and is bigger than it looks in the listing picture.
I would definitely like to return for another stay.

Perfect Ski House
This was a great property and great location. The house was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. It was clean, and exactly what we expected. The communication with the Owner was excellent - absolutely no surprises. We will definitely seek this property to rent again.

Wonderful get-away
My husband, two teen sons, and I stayed at Erica's property for a quick summer get-away. We had more than enough room for the four of us. Everything was as shown in the photos. Clean, comfortable, spacious. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen. And the beds! I will echo what other reviewers have said - the beds are so comfortable! We slept so well. Erica was great - she gave us suggestions for activities, etc and was very prompt in getting back to us when we reached out with questions. Definitely recommend this property!

We had 7 women staying at this property for the weekend and it was great. Cute place and very clean. Plenty of space for everyone and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely book this property again.

Good property. No problems with Erica or anything during our time in Stowe. Everybody had a good time.

Great Location
We had the best stay at this condo with two families including 4 kids, ages 5-9. Located at the base of Toll House Double lift, we were able to maneuver the kids easily to and from the mountain with a short walk. Erica was more than helpful by sending loads of information and recommendations for our first time to Stowe. The condo was clean, cozy and more than enough space for our two families. The kids loved having their own room to share with 4 twin sized beds for a huge sleepover. The foosball table was also a huge hit. The beds are so incredibly comfortable we had to ask what kind they were!! We loved Stowe and this property. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

Ski Vacation
Location was great, easy to get on at the Toll Lift and ski back in. Used the shed to store skis and boards. Wish the sofa was more comfortable but other than that everything was great! Would stay here again.

Awesome ski weekend with our adult children. Eight people fit comfortably and had plenty of space. We especially liked the kitchen and family dinners! Can wait to rent it again!

Great Mountain Getaway
Had an excellent time at Erica’s place in Stowe. It was clean, comfortable, convenient and that all important 4th “c” - cute! We came for a ski trip and had easy access to both the mountain and town. Erica was great at communicating and instructions on everything were clear. Would definitely stay again!
