This was perfect for our family of four and we will stay here again when we visit the area. Very clean, short driving distance to everything, and the photos don't do the mountain view justice. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the back deck enjoying the birds and deer that popped by. Mary is a fantastic host and had excellent recommendations for the area.

Stayed here July 2023. Location was perfect for day trips around the Springs area, and out to Royal Gorge and Cripple Creek area. Grocery store and Wal-Mart up the road in Woodland.
House was very nice like the photos. Kids liked the hot tub. Nice mountain view, fun to watch clouds and rain move across them.
Owner was very nice ,easy to work and communicate with.

I rented this house for my family to stay in instead of hotel, its a big house 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Has great views of the mountain, enjoyed every morning drinking coffee on the deck. Close to all the main attractions. The host Mary was great very responsive to all our questions and needs.
Would stay again and recommend anyone to stay there.

The house is charming, comfortable and the Mountain View is stunning. The location offers convenient access to highway 24 and many local attractions (Manitou, Garden of the Gods, Cog Railway, etc. ) Our host, Mary, was very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time! Thank you for letting us stay there!

Great home rental experience! Easy access from the highway and in a small mountain town close to entry of Pike’s Peak Highway. The home was comfy and open living room/kitchen area with nice privacy for each of the bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Our favorite part of the home was the deck that provided beautiful Mountain Views! Our host, Mary, was great too checking in with us to ensure we’d arrived and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Great cabin in the mountains but still close to many of the activities we planned. Property manager was so quick to respond to all questions. The cabin is very clean, a great experience and plenty of space for a family of 5. The only drawback was the cabin gets pretty warm in the August afternoon heat.

We were very pleased with the property. It was reasonably priced. It was roomy and had sleeping accommodations that met all of our requirements. The owner was in contact and very accommodating. The kitchen was nicely furnished. We would DEFINITELY stay here again if we had reason to come to this area again.

The house served our family of 6 well. It was convenient to get to local attractions including Garden of the God's and Pike's Peak. The hot tub was a real perk and a fun way to relax at night. Mary was very approachable and quick to reach out as well as respond to any of our questiins.

Best vacation home near Pikes Peak!
I would like to start by saying my whole family had amazing time. This property is beautiful and the view of the mountains are amazing from the back porch it is also close to the main attractions about 5 to 10 minutes drive. The property manager was so helpful. We Will definitely be staying again at this property when we come back to Colorado.

Perfect location!
The house was very roomy for 5 guests - 3 baths great for teens. Very clean and friendly unobtrusive communication with host. The traffic light onto hwy 24 was perfect. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. Lovely stay.

Great property and great hostess. Mary was great to work with, made the check in process very easy and she checked in to make sure everything was alright. The house was perfect for our family of four. The deck overlooking the mountains was a great place for both morning coffee and evening dinner. You could hear traffic, but it was not loud enough to be annoying. The location is perfect for everything the Colorado Springs area has to offer. Had a great time and fell in love with Colorado.

Beautiful Stay
This home is very clearly well cared for. Immaculately clean & well furnished. Comfortable inside & out (right down to that beautiful barefoot lawn!) directions were perfectly clear. The views are spectacular as this was a great location for us. Near the ‘Springs’ below & loads of hiking spots above. The hot tub soak was the icing on our cake every evening. The owner/host is nearby and simply delightful!
Thank you Mary for giving us a wonderful place to call home for a week!!

Great Choice-Close to Manitou
Very nice log cabin style ranch house with lovely view of the mountains and conveniently located to many attractions, including Manitou Springs. Owners live next door and are quick to respond to questions. Feels Iike home away from home. Some traffic noise when outside, but not audible indoors.

This was a PERFECT place for our family of five (9, 6.5, and 4) for a week. My husband and I worked remotely (internet was great) and then we explored the Colorado Springs area with the kids after work. It worked out great. We were close to so many fun places to explore, and just being in the house and on the deck with the beautiful view of the mountains was a vacation. The house was very well-stocked with everything we needed for the week and there was plenty of space for all of us (even while working). Thank you, Mary!

Our family had a great experience. The location was perfect for all of our site seeing (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo). The pictures don't do this place justice. It was all beautifully updated and perfect size for our family of 6. We were concerned about not having air conditioning while staying in July, but we were mostly gone during the day and the nights were nice and cool.

We just left this property and it was a prime spot for visiting Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Manitou cliff dwellings etc. We also drove to Canon City to raft one day and it wasn't too bad of a drive there, just over an hour. The location was away from the city enough to feel like you are in the mountains, but the only drawback was the highway noise. Like others have said, it is noticeable when outside and can make it feel a little less charming/rustic and more like you are on the deck hearing truckers brakes and general road noise. At quieter times it was much less noticeable. I found we tuned it out though, and enjoyed meals and games on the deck anyway. Cool interior decor, plenty of linens and towels, and the host Mary was very responsive. Nice kitchen appliances and has utensils, cooking pots, etc that you could make just about anything (no blender or mixer, but has coffee machine and toaster). It was more sparse on the things you sometimes find in a VRBO--none or few spices/pantry goods, no foil or plastic wrap, etc, but plenty of paper towels, trash bags, clorox wipes and all things in good working order.
My kids enjoyed the "retro" TV (ahem, still a flat screen but just not a smart TV--so no netflix/Disney + etc) with a supply of DVDs. A bunch of space to spread out and play games, cards, etc. The master suite feels like it was added on later maybe? Has a huge bathroom and giant walk in closet. No drawer storage in the room for clothes, but we didn't need it using the closets.
All in all a great stay in a very clean home with just about everything you'd need, in a neighborhood with access to all the tourist-y things in CO Springs! Definitely would recommend.

Spent a week exploring the area around the Springs and wanted something in the mountains that wasn’t too far out there. Cabin has an awesome view of Mt Manitou and was within 20 min of Woodland Park and SW Colorado Springs. Good space for our family of 4. No A/C but we were there in the middle of a record heat wave and was fine by leaving windows open. Hwy 24 is out the porch side of the cabin but you can’t see it. Just some minor noise with trucks occasionally hitting their Jake Brake going down the road. We’d come back and use this place again in a heartbeat. Owner Mary is also very responsive.

Comfortable and cozy with an amazing view!
We just left to return to Texas this morning, and to say we were sad to leave is an understatement! This cabin was perfect for my husband, daughter, and I during our week-long visit to Colorado Springs. Just far enough out of the city but so close to many of the attractions we wanted to visit (Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, etc) Some people mentioned noise from the road, and 24 is a busy highway, but we weren't really home during the days and it is pretty quiet at night. We had no issue at all. Mary provided us with household supplies to start us off (toilet paper, paper towel roll, several trash bags) and her communication with me before and during our stay was excellent. She was quick to respond via text if I had any questions. Check in and check out were super easy. Our favorite spot at the cabin was the deck! It is just beautiful with a spectacular view! We loved our whole stay and hope to return again soon!

The place was clean and very warm feeling! The view from the back deck was great! Not far off the main road. The driveway was a bit tricky for backing in and out of.
