Great location right in the heart of a beautiful district! Laura was incredibly helpful with our stay, would absolutely stay here again.

This apartment with high ceilings, spacious rooms (the bathroom with a tub and two sinks is AMAZING!!) historic details, and a small balcony was the perfect getaway. My boyfriend and I felt safe walking pretty much everywhere or hoping on the convenient street car. We loved the apartment so much that we decided to stay in one night and cooked dinner & watched TV. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We loved this historic apartment. The rooms were huge and beautiful. The kitchen had everything you want or need including full sets of silverware, coffee pot, full fridge and dishwasher. The queen bed was super comfy. Closets were so spacious. The bathroom was enormous, as big as the bedroom, with a bathtub and separate shower. The towels were very nice. Super high ceilings and the coolest way to get to the balcony- windows lift from the floor. The surroundings were great- several boutique hotels with cool
Bars and coffee places. Several good looking restaurants that we did not get to try. And there is a grocery store a block or two away. You could hear Street noise, but it was not bothersome and I loved being able to hear the street car going by. I loved staying here! One thing to note is the charming stairwell is very narrow with no railing, so be careful. Parking is free in a nearby hotel lot, but it’s a walk. Visitors can park in pay lot next door but it cost like $15. We really enjoyed it and our host is as super helpful, responding immediately to questions, and gave me a great restaurant recommendation.

Stayed there for a few days during JazzFest. Great neighborhood, quite and safe plus near Rouses grocery store. Manager was super helpful. Neighbors in the building were nice too!

Laura was so great to work with! She went out of her way to ensure I could get a formal dress delivered safely and had her dad drop it off. She even walked me through how to access the key to the condo. Beautiful space with spacious kitchen living room bedroom and master bath- Ideal New Orleans experience. Only downside if you are physically challenged- there is no elevator and stairs are quite narrow to access the condo. As long as that is not an issue for you it is a total winner!

This apartment is BEAUTIFUL, immaculate, comfortable, close to the grocery store and street car, and best of all on a quiet tucked-away street. The balcony out front is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The apartment is stocked with everything you need, and the owner is responsive and attentive. The property is so warm and inviting, I did not want to leave. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a work conference, and the condo was perfectly located for the conference, and just a short walk to all of the fun that New Orleans has to offer. Beautiful, spacious, clean and welcoming space. Thank you for a wonderful week away!

If you’re looking at this property, don’t even hesitate! We travel a lot and we stay in pretty swanky places, but this place is so unique and so fabulous, especially if you’re just a couple, it gives you all the room that you’ll ever need! It’s close to everything, it’s extremely well equipped, Laura is amazing! Like I said, if you’re looking at this listing, just take it if it’s available. Loved it!

The condo looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It was authentic and spacious, beautiful and very comfortable.
I loved all the big wardrobes with hangers and shelves so I could easily unpack.
I didn't mind the stairs at all except getting luggage in and out of the place was a bit of a chore. If I hadn't shopped so much that I needed to buy two additional suitcases it wouldn't have been as big of a deal.
There is a binder kept with things like house rules, but it's packed full of all sorts of brochures and menus. The menus are restaurants in the area, but the brochures cover a wide variety of things to do all over the city. It was nice to have the references to give us ideas of what we wanted to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's condo. She was an excellent host with great communication and response time. The condo layout, size, and location was perfect for us. Will be back in the future and recommend to others!

Great location close to trolley lines and restaurants and easy walk to the French Quarter. Our host responded quickly to any problem. Space was decorated beautifully and equipped with everything we needed. If you are parking a car make sure to read all of the instructions before arrival. The host sent us everything we needed and we didn't read until we were parked on the street trying to determine how to navigate. It was all in our wonderfully detailed emails so we got in no problem but could have saved ourselves the stress!

My wife and I spent several nights in this spacious and comfortable apartment in the heart of the Central Business District. It was very clean and well-maintained, although you need to navigate some narrow, steep stairs to access it. We were just a short distance from many incredible restaurants as well as the St. Charles streetcar line. Laura was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host. All in all, this was a great place for us to stay while we roamed the city!

We were here over NYE so it was kind of nice to have a place that was far enough from the quarter to be nice and quiet, but it’s still very close the quarter and the garden district. We used the trolly a couple of times but we were so close to everything, it was typically faster to simply walk. Loved the location and would look for it again next time we’re in town.

Beautiful place in awesome location! Located on a quiet side street yet close enough to walk many restaurants including the French Quarter. Home was nicely appointed with everything we needed. Laura was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely fell in love with the place from the moment we walked in. It was like being in another country. The street was quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Laura was so great to work with. We would love to stay here again.

Gorgeous apartment! We absotely loved this place. We were able to walk almost everywhere French quarter, Bywater, canal street ( took an Uber to the garden district). The balcony was great to people watch late Saturday evening. Not a busy street until the weekend. Normal city noise. The blackout curtains were amazing. Easy check in process.

Stunning apartment! I wish I could express how amazing Laura's place in person. Pictures don't do justice and I didn't want to leave. This historic apartment will take you back in time with all the original architectural details. Great area close to the St Charles line, fantastic restaurants, bars, groceries, and short walking distance to the Quarter. I miss seeing the street cars from the gallery. Don't hesitate to book Laura's place. I hope to do so again in the future.

Location was the best. Walking distance to everything: grocery store, restaurants, WWII museum, streetcar, and the French Quarter. Kitchen well stocked. Linens and bed very comfortable. Quiet and safe location. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

We loved this property. It was so quirky and we felt like we were staying in a palace, with the draped curtains, the four-poster bed, and the clawfoot bathtub. The owner was very responsive and gave us very detailed instructions to access the property including photos (which we needed - it is a little tricky to figure out). As others have mentioned, the stairs are tricky, especially in high heels. I'd be hesitant to recommend the property to anyone elderly.

Perfect!
This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it's still our favorite place to stay in NOLA. Laura is great and communicates quickly. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Our 1st New Orleans trip.
I'm going to start off saying that this was the best trip/stay we have had yet! Out host was top of the line. We wasn't able to check in until around 2am fur to our long drive. We were new to this area so a bit confused on the parking so we called our host at 2am sadly and she responded fast and answered us with the most friendly and helpful attitude. She stuck with us until we felt OK. Then we got in the house was we were completely stunned by the beauty of this place! So perfect! Not only was it lovely... we never had to take our car anywhere rhe whole trip! Close to EVERYTHING! We stayed 4 days at that. We urgently would love to come back and try visit as well as use this same house and host that we became quite fond of. 5 stars baby!

Unforgettable!
We absolutely loved this place. It’s actually one of those places that looks even BETTER in person than in pictures. The hostess was incredible and even met us to check in and was super lovely, telling us amazing historical tidbits about the property. We had the best few days in NOLA and a huge part of it was this VRBO. Just wonderful. 10 out of 10 would recommend :) thank you!

Great New Orleans stay!
This property is a nice quiet, quaint apartment in a classy area. It was a neat traditional style New Orleans apartment that is within walking distance to everything but out of the middle of it at the same time. Very comfortable and relaxing and a great claw foot tub. The St. Charles street trolley runs through the street next to the property and is a good source of transportation for getting you around to different areas. Grocery store and CVS are close by for grabbing a few things. Had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic French Condo
Place was amazing. Just as advertised. Great location. We were able to walk all over New Orleans - from Bourbon street to the WWII museum and beyond.
The place was spacious and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed.
Would love a bigger and better bed there next time we visit, but we will definitely be back!

Amazing!
While the property was amazing, the owner/property manager was even more so!!
The property is in a perfect location for walking or catch the Streetcar. It has amazing character, and is very comfortable.
There was an issue with the air conditioner our first day. The owner contacted us to let us know about the problem, and that she had someone there fixing it. We realized that night that it wasn't fixed. She came over at 10 PM (!) and brought us fans and check out the issue and contacted the repair man again. It was fixed the next day! She even refunded a night's stay for our troubles.
We have this listing saved, and we will definitely stay here again!
