The photos do not show how beautiful this property is! We all had an amazing time and it was wonderful to do it all under one roof! So much space to sleep. Beautiful wrap around porch and yard! Thank you!

This property is everything it has been represented and more. We were a family group of 27 and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. We brought paper plates for ease of use but ended up using everything that was already there.
The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed a week of fabulous sunsets and set up a badminton net on the lawn.
The water implements were good as well. We used the kayaks and other available boats.
I loved the bed covers and the decorations. I bought a water cooler and had water delivered. 10 5 gallon jugs sufficed.
Thank you for a wonderful family vacation.
There were plenty of activities locally to satisfy old and young.

The house is wonderful for a large group. Kitchen fully equipped to serve a crowd and we were all able to sit together for meals. Beautiful wrap around porch and lots of yard space.
The only downside is the lake - unfortunately no one was able to swim du to the condition of the lake (hab). It seems that this is an ongoing issue with the lake.

The house was spacious and comfortable. Everyone loved the lake access, the large backyard and the huge porch. The owner was great and respinded immediately to iur questions. Comfy bes and enough bathrooms. One caution, thiugh--drivers really FLY on the road in front so small children and pets should be kept under careful animals

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Three siblings with our children and grandchildren for a total of 18 plus a one year old and a one month old. Everyone was able to spread out and have their own space if they chose. Also, plenty of areas to gather as a group…eat, chat, fish, and play games. Quite a few stairs and steep walk to the water could be difficult for some. We brought water bottles and jugs of water due to the well water. The sulfur smell did not bother us at all…it was very faint at times. Golf, ice cream, and pickleball were close by! We also went into Hammondsport, Watkins Glen, and Penn Yan.

We loved our family weekend here, host was great to work with. Large home with huge side & front porch, many bedrooms, large kitchen and dining areas. Only negative was sulfur/well smell when running water, even when flushing toilet, it was too strong for us so we shut bathroom doors and used all our own water.

Beautiful house with everything you need. Our only complaint was the sulfur smell.

Our first cousin weekend was a great success. The dragonfly inn made it as easy as can be for us all to have a lot of fun with everything we need on hand. Great location on the lake. For our next stay we would like to be there for a few more days when it’s a little warmer out. Beautiful place. Host was grea. very responsive and accommodating

We are four siblings who have taken a week vacation together with our families at large houses, preferably near water for about 30 years. This year was Dragonfly. The house was great, with enough beds that those who could make it, could have stayed the whole week of they wanted. There were also plenty of bathrooms (4) though one on the second floor apparently was supposed to serve11 people. The outdoor porch space was wonderful and well used, and the two indoor living rooms were also wonderful and well used. The six year old loved the games out on one side of the porch, challenging everyone else. The general area around the house also supplied lots of activities for us to enjoy. e.g. among other activities, we did the gorge walk in Watkins Glen; some of us went to the Corning Museum, some of us went to Seneca Falls to visit the women's rights museum. We all enjoyed many ice cream shops in surrounding towns. We even found some mini-golf.
Our only disappointment was Lake Waneta. There was a dock that some people used for sunning, but really the lake was not swimmable. taking a kayak out to middle of the lake to jump out and swim, then climb back in was not a realistic option for us. Even getting into the kayaks in the weedy water near the dock was difficult, but doable and many of us did go out for kayak rides. We went to Keuka State Park to swim. Also bought LOTS of drinking water, as tap water had sulfur odor.
Overall we had a wonderful week.

We stayed here for a week long family getaway; there was more than enough room for all of us (from the grandparents down to the toddler) and we all easily found something to do. Some memorable highlights included sitting out on the wraparound porch morning, noon, and night, kayaking on the lake, catching fish, taking the rowboat out for a couple of spins, and even swimming off the dock. Even with the seaweed mats down, there was a TON of seaweed around the dock and we spent some time clearing it away before we got in the water. The yard is a definite slope down to the water, but we knew that going in. If you plan on sitting outside at night, be liberal with the bug spray! Bedrooms were good sizes with plenty of room. We all assumed we’d be fine to drink the water as we all grew up with well water but trust me when I say that you want to bring your own water - the well does smell extremely sulfuric and, even though the water is fine to drink, it stinks. We really enjoyed our stay here although we did think it a little rude that the cleaning lady showed up an hour early and started cleaning while we were still loading up our cars. That felt a bit unnecessary. But, overall, a great location and a nice spot to spend the week.

We loved our stay at the Dragonfly Inn. The house is huge, the deep porch is fabulous, the small boats got heavy use, and there is so much to do in the area.

When we got to the cottage, we notice that the owner redid the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean when we got there. Only thing that might be better is steps to the water. Great Week. Will do again.

This was a great place for our crowd of 24 people. No one felt squeezed in. Kitchen had everything you need. The dining area was very roomy, enough for a few groups to spread out on the tables to play various board games. The property is lovely and we really enjoyed our time on the porch and dock.
Only two cons: There was no electrical in the bathroom overlooking the lake; and the yard leading down to the dock was steep, making it difficult for a couple of older family members to negotiate. To be fair, we knew this going in, but maybe a set of steps would be nice.
We would definitely stay here again!

The property held 12 adults with no effort. Everything is well equipped to handle that number of people from the dining table to the number of beds. As stated in other reviews, the water does have a terrible sulphur smell. The lake was full of weeds.

Our family had an incredible time at the Dragonfly for our post wedding weekend. The host was so accommodating and kind and communicative. The property is huge, perfect for a large group with plenty of dishes, supplies, games, and fun! The boats were an awesome added touch! Thank you so much Gary! We will always remember the Dragonfly as an essential part of our weekend and hope to return one day!

The Dragon Fly Inn is a beautiful, peaceful property. The home is well equipped. There was plenty of space for our family of 17 to gather for meals and games.
The 2 and one major problem: one of the reasons for choosing for choosing a lake front property is getting out on and into the lake. Except for a couple of brave souls who took out their paddle board and kayak, nobody swam.
The 2 nd, this is not a property for people with mobility issues.
Thank goodness local activities were plentiful. Corning Glass, Watkins Glen, the Watkins Glen to Montour Falls bike path, Rescue farm animals tour were very well received. Shopping in Pen Yan and Hammondsport was enjoyed by some. Brewery tours won out over winery tours.

We had a very good week at the Dragon Fly Inn. Only one thing could have made it better, if there were stairs heading to the water so our elderly adults could make it to the water. Still a very good week.

The entire experience was wonderful. The property is perfect for a large family vacation. From beginning the reservation process to check out the process was flawless. We hope to come back. Arthur

Great stay for our family reunion!
Our 3 generation family of 20+ has been gathering to celebrate New Years for over 40 years, and the Dragonfly Inn was wonderful. The review from Melissa T. (Nov 2021) was spot on, and every point she made was perfectly said. I recommend reading her great review.
We had water delivered from Avoca Spring Water (highly recommend as well) and bought an inexpensive manual pump from lowes (Vitapur-Manual-Water-Pump/1003174804) . The combination was perfect for our cooking and drinking needs.

Thanksgiving gratitude!
We are so excited to find a property that is able to house our large family for a Thanksgiving celebration. We had a wonderful time! The home is comfortable and provided various spaces for us to gather.
Gary responded very quickly to each of our questions and provided a very helpful floor plan. The bedrooms are larger than they appeared on the floor plan. Two of the common space sleeping areas provided more privacy than we had anticipated.
The property has a beautiful view of the lake and a wonderful fire pit that we were able to enjoy despite being there in November! While the house is located close to the road, many cars can be parked in the space provided.
There were plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and silverware for all of our needs. The long dining room and extra folding tables provided seating for all of us!
We were forewarned that the water has an odor. It does and we chose not to use it for drinking or cooking. The owners would like bottled water to be used in the coffee pots. Be certain to bring the drinking water that you will need for the duration of your stay.

4 Generations
We enjoyed our stay and the location on the lake. The house was large enough for us to spread out (family members ranged from 2 months to 81 years). It was also close enough to various destinations like state parks, museums, wineries and restaurants. Most of us were able to enjoy boating and fishing on the lake. We enjoyed the sunsets over the lake while sitting around a fire.
However, the information on the listing needs updated. For example: There was only one firepit not two as stated; The air hockey table would not make enough air to lift the puck; We did not find a toy box; The check in and check out times are listed in multiple places but are all different.
Overall we had a good time with family and would recommend the house.

Lovely Lakehouse
Ages 5-71 had a great time using this property. Much needed family reunion. Something for everyone. Covered porches for reading, sleeping, eating. Dock for swimming, fishing, boating. Variety of bedrooms to fit every family unit plus extra space to spread out. Owners responded in timely manner to answer questions. Love the dragonfly theme throughout the home. Upgrades added comfort. Took a few side trips to area waterfalls, wineries, and restaurants. The lake was not busy in late August, so we enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boats daily. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck. Morning sunrise from the lake for early risers was beautiful too. Thank you, Dragonfly Inn.

Great, big house near attractions
This house fit our 5 families well. Dining area was big enough for us all to eat at same table and overlooking lake was awesome. Fishing off dock and with few boats provided and what we provided entertained us. Visiting Watkins Glen, Hammondsport, and renting a boat on Keuka Lake were highlights. We had a great time; this house felt like home! Thank goodness for wi-fi because our T-mobile cell service didn't work. Just realize there is a hill to walk down to get to lake and road in front isn't really busy but vehicles tend go fast so we were not comfortable biking with the kids on the road. So to go on family bike rides ( we had elementary-aged kids with us) we had to first drive somewhere else we felt was safer. To clarify, we brought our own bikes.

This is a nice property for a large family. Awesome deck for bad weather. Only fault would be the parking.

Excellent property and management.
We wanted a location on Waneta Lake for a wedding and family reunion. The host was very accommodating, happily answering our questions and concerns about tent placement and such. Very open with communication.
The property itself was great. Plenty of rooms and beds for our sizable family. Excellent kitchen, stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. Beautiful dining room table, perfect for puzzles on rainy afternoons.
The kids loved swimming in the lake. The yard was a great spot for the ceremony and reception. The veranda was the perfect spot to hang out and chat. Nice living room with a good TV and comfy couches for a movie night.
My one complaint might be that the mattress we had wasn't very comfortable for us, but what are you going to do. Pretty much par for the course when traveling.
We would totally consider renting The Dragonfly Inn again. And I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place on one of the smaller Finger Lakes.

Family Reunion
This was the perfect place for us to spend a weekend with our 5 adult children and their families. The grandchildren loved having the entire "attic" room to themselves. The adult kids had plenty of space and their own rooms on the 2nd floor while my husband and I took the suite in the walkout basement. The huge, wrap around porch was perfect for outdoor meals and gatherings, and view of the lake. We all had a great time! The owner was very responsive .

Amazing property. Great area, very peaceful with much to do around the area still. Overall great place, plenty of rooms and space, great for gatherings and events.

Great property for a large group but the weather was terrible and the location was about 20 mins from restaurants, supermarkets etc. Two vineyards are nearby (within 5 mins.) and the one visited (Domaine Lessure) was excellent. Also, the Heron Hill winery in Keuka Lake was great.
