Home had plenty of space for our needs. Great outdoor space on the lake. Enjoyed our stay. Only recommendation is to have salt, pepper and a few other basic spices for cooking.

Beautiful home and just as described. I will mention that the property does not go right out to the water with a beachfront… As there is a retaining wall, which makes it a little challenging to get kayaks and paddle boats in the water
We enjoyed the beautiful views! The kitchen was spacious and the living room furniture was very comfortable Did you have a Did you have a lemon peach? I did no I don’t need it. Thank you. It was also very helpful to be able to utilize the washer and dryer.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the fish house! We loved the kayaks, and the house was beautiful. We liked that it was close enough to St ignace, did a day trip to the island. It was nice the water was so shallow so far out.
The listing originally said that it had a hot tub, but after booking confirmed with owner that it did not. Kind of a bummer. But enjoyed our stay without it. Kids liked the swing set.

Wow! The hosts have truly thought of everything: kayaks and life vests, marshmallow roasting sticks, wood for the campfire, an amazing grill, hand soaps, linens...you name it, they have already placed it in this amazing cabin. Stunning sunsets, a private backyard for our dog to enjoy, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a gigantic great room. Just wow. We hope to return!

The house is very pretty, and fits right in with the surrounding. We had contemplated bringing our larger boat, but was glad we brought the small fishing boat. The lake depth in that area is quite shallow. Everybody really had a great time.

When at first you drive up to the cabin it looks small. However, once you get inside it's huge and absolutely beautiful! Hard wood floors, and very airy! The view of the lake was spectacular! The cabin was stocked with.everything you would need to cook with, sleep with, swim in the lake with etc...Bring your own food and you are all set!!

This is a beautiful location, with a pretty cabin, inside and out that is thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen and laundry were well stocked and appliances were excellent. The furniture was in good condition and more than ample space to move. Plumbing worked well with soft soft water.
For the owner: the patio definitely presents a hazard with loose pavers, multiple levels, and no railings. Several trips and one nasty fall occurred. The swing set however was a joy. Another consideration is the bed situation - 4 out of 5 beds are small twins and unsuitable for adults resulting in poor nights of sleep. The lighting could also use some attention as it is very dim inside and difficult to read. Perhaps some lamps for reading and food prep could be considered.
Overall, we had a wonderful time in a beautiful location!

We were all pleasantly surprised when we came through the door of this cabin. The pictures posted on this property does not do it justice. This place is much larger than it appears. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and clean. The view of the lake from the living room was beautiful and very peaceful. We had 5 adults and 3 dogs staying here comfortably. The location was great, 20 minutes from St Ignance and approx. 1 hour drive to Whitefish bay and Tahquamenon falls. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a lovely home with us.

This home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our family of 5 (with 2 adult children) had plenty of space to spread out and places to hang out. We enjoyed the beauty of the lake from the lounge chairs and the cool evenings by the fire pit. Having laundry on-site was helpful and two bathrooms was essential! I did have some work to do, but was able to use my cell phone's hot spot for wifi. There's no a/c, but the nights were cool and there's fans in every room. We had a fishing boat and fished a few days, catching lots of little perch and couple keepers. We took a day trip to Tahquamenon Falls & Sault Ste Marie, Canada. Some really great restaurants with a relatively short drive including Moo Fin Fries, Jose's Cantina, & Les Cheneaux Distillery. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay here and highly recommend.

The Fish House was a beautiful and relaxing getaway for our family of three, and our friend’s family of five. The house was clean and well stocked. We ended up bringing a dog last minute and the host was very accommodating about that. Location is about 20 minutes from St. Ignace, and located off of a quiet and private road.

Fish house was great and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of linens for bathrooms and bedrooms. Outside area lakefront with grill, chairs with fire pit and plenty of wood. Host was responsive if we had a question.

What a great and relaxing stay we had! Very quiet and comfortable! The weather didn’t cooperate, typical Michigan, so we did a lot of relaxing but still made it to the island and got to kayak, among other adventures. We already decided we want to come back again! It was nice to not have to worry about a thing and get away for a couple of days. I would highly recommend!

Just about 30 minutes north of Mackinaw City. Beautiful property! Clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Private road. So many extras waiting for you, such as multiple kayaks, life jackets, paddle boat, floaties, and more. The lake is very very shallow overall which is great for activities, but a little difficult for maneuvering a pontoon boat. However! We caught 6 types of fish on the lake and had a blast. It would be nice to be able to fish off the pier but it's too shallow. Just FYI. Great for swimming, floating, kayaking and playing! Full kitchen with so many extras such as waffle maker, great pots and pans, etc. Impressive. Great grill, fire pit, outdoor seating, hammock. Honestly a great property. Be aware the upstairs is an open loft, so not much privacy. Two full bathrooms down and a unique toilet and sink combo in the loft. We had cell service, and there is cable, although we only watched TV very little. Kitchen table seats six plus some bar seats as well. Washer n dryer. Already pretty well stocked pantry. Just great. Highly recommend!

I selected Brevoort lake for this years (2022) annual fishing trip, and stayed in the “fish house” cottage. The cottage is fairly large especially the main living room. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 upstairs (in loft) has a king bed, 2 other small bedrooms on main floor both have small (very narrow) twin beds great for kids not so great for adults. The living room furniture is a little dated and could use a refresh. Overall the cottage is nice and very welcoming.
