About this house rental
This is an amazing three-bedroom unit, in a gorgeous triplex, which sits right at the BEACH LEVEL. There is a large living room which opens to a beachfront patio, a kitchen with granite counters and all of the necessary appliances, plus everything you could ask for to cook for your group. There are two very spacious bedrooms, both with ensuite baths, and an additional bedroom with a flat screen TV toward the back of the house. There is also another half bath in the hallway. This unit has everything you could possibly need for an amazing beachfront vacation!

Visited here for a family vacation and had a great time! Maybe a 3 min drive to the beach and a 5 min walk. Very close to the pier! Had an issue getting into the room but the property manager responded within seconds. Overall great time!

The good.. - The view was beautiful and we saw dolphins jumping around in the ocean- Wonderful location and in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. - Very spacious unit with all utensils, spices, towels, etc. needed for your stayThe not so good... It needs fresh paint, there is a hole taped up on the kitchen ceiling, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, the AC units were taped into the windows with duck tape and lastly there was something that look like blood on the bottom of the trash can. It just felt neglected and in dire need of updates. Exterior: The hot tub feels misleading it was soft with no where to really sit making it an uncomfortable arrangement. The parking was also extremely challenging as the garage door did not open from the outside (maintenance said it was a known issue) which was very problematic since you needed to open/close constantly to park in the underground parking spot. Also, thankfully we had a small car, but it seems irresponsible to not warn ppl they would be parking in an underground spot as the alternative would mean we would to have parked outside of walking distance from the unit.

Home away from home
What we loved most about staying in a house/condo, as opposed to a hotel room, was the freedom we all had to be in our own rooms, sleep & wake up whenever we wanted without disturbing any family members, and having a place where the kiddos could play outside while we watched them.
This place was impressive! We were very lucky to be on the bottom floor - which is something I should have investigated better - because kids running around would have disturbed renters below, if we had been on any floor above. The amenities that came with the bottom floor were amazing! We loved the hot tub, fire pit, and immediate access to the sand, where the kids loved to play!
The only issue was the tricky parking situation with the elevator cage. Everyone seems to have the same problem with it. My son had to have several people guide him into the cage because the car mirrors had to be closed for the car to fit, making it difficult to navigate backing in. Our rental car was so long, it almost didn't fit! Needless to say, we didn't drive anywhere until the last night. We found parking on the street so we didn't have to deal with it again.
Other than that, everything we needed was provided! We truly felt like it was our home away from home, and we would definitely rent here again! :)
I have also referred several of my friends to this property.

- no privacy with neighbors above and beside you, beach access is right through your back patio, phone reception very poor, unable to use baby monitor through the walls, 1 car parking only (although easy to find parking on the street)

Very nice condo with plenty of room. The pier is about a mile walk. There is a small market a couple blocks away. We walked to restaurants by the pier and on the main drag. It’s a short walk to the beach.

This place is a perfect haven for families who love the beach most especially when your about to open your sliding door and the smell of the ocean breeze catches your breath. Very spacious and all the household amenities are all in place so there is nothing to worry, just enjoy your stay. Caretakers are just a phone call away and in matter of 3 minutes they are right in front of the house for service. I would 100% recommend this place to all my fellow veterans, doctors and nurses friends. Thank you beachfront!

This home was at beach level - right on the ocean. The waves were crashing on the rocks in front at high tide. Be aware that there is no beach directly in front of the house; the water runs right to the rocks. However, there is beach access within several hundred yards, and the city pier is 8 blocks away - a 10 minute walk.
The property was modern, clean, and in excellent condition. It is well stocked with dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils. The bedrooms contained king, king, and standard beds. The kings had ensuite bathrooms. Only the master BR had a closet. Evidently, in Oceanside you can call a room a bedroom even though it doesn't have a closet.
There were a couple minor maintenance issues: the lights on the microwave above the oven were burned out; and the fan in the hallway bathroom stayed on only about 30 seconds regardless of what the timer was set at. The issues were so minor that they didn't warrant calling the property agent, but there was no form for feedback to note these issues.
The most frustrating shortcoming was that there were no written instructions for anything on the property. Although many items of interest (checkin, checkout instructions, trash location, house rules) were posted to the mobile app, nothing was written and collected in a notebook, such as one finds in hotel rooms. For those of us who don't have our nose stuck in a phone all the time, this was inconvenient, to say the least. There were absolutely no instructions for operating the TV and cable box - either written or online. I had to call the management company to find out how to tune in ESPN! This was totally unacceptable.
The parking lift utilized by unit #3 was somewhat of a pain. It took extra effort to park the car in the garage. Finding a parking spot on the street was not difficult, although guests are discouraged from doing so.

Oceanfront Bliss
This property is gorgeous and very enjoyable. It was so exciting to have a front row seat to the ocean waves crashing against the rocks. Our bed was super comfortable with nice bedding. The hot tub, propane heater and bbq worked well. There aren't a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, but they do deliver. No food (coffee) in the unit except for spices. For the first couple of days, we had no internet, but when we were finally able to contact the management company, they repaired. The garage parking for this unit is tricky and complicated. It is a cage/lift that goes underground. We had to call the management company to instruct us how to work it. I suggested that they develop a video to send to guests, pre-arrival.

Great home with minor issues
Overall the experience was incredible. Location was great and cleanliness of home was immaculate! We had 7 people staying in the 3 bedroom however one bedrooms bed frame was missing a few slates causing an uncomfortable sleep. We had to move the mattress to the floor. The following night instead of using the room we used the side sleeping areas in the hallway. For the price of the rental we would hope to use the bedrooms properly. I submitted a request using the VRBO app and never heard back. Other than the bad sleeping arrangements and sore backs the home was a great place to stay .

I’m thankful my husband is a plumber because he was able to find the leak and turn the water off. It took maintenance 2 hours to get there. Being up at 4 AM on my vacation really killed one of my vacation days. The hot tub had a leak in it. Maintenance came out and there was nothing they could do. It also really didn’t get hot enough. We followed the instructions and kept the top on but it still wasn’t the best. Our unit came with a parking lift for our parking spot. our car rental barely fit! Besides all of that the unit was great, it had everything we needed lots of space, perfect location but the price we paid I expected more or some type of compensation for the flood and the leaking “hot” tub.

I wanted to love every moment of this trip and I tried to stay positive the whole time.
With that said the hot water expansion tank busted at 4 AM and flooded our condo. I’m thankful my husband is a plumber because he was able to find the leak and turn the water off. It took maintenance 2 hours to get there. Being up at 4 AM on my vacation really killed one of my vacation days.

It was exactly what we expected from the description of the unit. We loved the ability to walk the beach, go to town and just sit outside with the view of the ocean. The unit had everything we needed, it was clean and big enough for our group. I would definitely recommend and return.

You cannot beat this location and view! So pretty to wake up to the waves crashing. The hot tub is fine, but dated for sure and in need of an update. Ours leaked but the management company was good about sending someone out daily to refill it. We did not use the garage lift associated with our unit but found street parking easily. The next door and upstairs neighbors are still private enough.

Management was very helpful with everything and on the spot within 5-10 minutes if we needed something.
The lift isn’t a big deal and easy to operate. Management will demonstrate how to operate upon arrival as well.
We had a December stay and the tide is generally high at that time but there is a sandy beach within walking distance. If your traveling from out of state then check the tide charts if you prefer private beach access in front of the condo and plan accordingly. There was still a sandy spot in front of the rock barrier for our kids to play in the sand anyways too.
For those with young children that don’t yet walk it’s good to know that there is a stairway that we had to block with a pullout bed on the beach level. I never noticed from pictures or reviews but the pullout bed prevents complete access. I suppose management may even have supplied a gate if requested.
We plan to visit yearly moving forward for our family vacation.

When we walked into the unit, the view was beautiful and we found the unit was clean and very pretty. It was supposed to have two king beds and one queen bed. The two room that had the king bed were beautiful and to our surprise, they both had attached bathrooms! When we came to the third bedroom, instead of a queen bed, it had a full sized bed that had a bedframe that looked like it had once been a waterbed and they dropped the mattress into it. There were railings on all sides. Both of my sons and my husband are 6 feet tall and no one fit on that bed. To make matters worse, both of my daughters-in-law are seven months pregnant and neither could get out of that bed without help. That was very disappointing. We made it work the best we could. Also, the tv had to have wifi to work at all and the wife kept going out. Normally, we are gone all day but with the virus out we just wanted a place to go to be together and enjoy the beach. We did call for service. It took a while when the young man came out to check. He was in the unit for about two minutes and didn't even look at the tv. He just told us, while looking at his cell (to be fair, he might have been checking it for bars for the wifi) that the wifi was really bad and then he left. It was very disappointing. The kids slept on the side beds they had in the hallway. They were excited about them first, but found the thin mattresses to be beaten down a little too much and needed a little extra padding so we doubled those thin mattresses up. They did have two setts of beautiful washers and dryers that worked wonderfully. They had plenty of blankets. Towels only for the first night. Since we couldn't even check in until 4 p.m. and then had to leave at 10 a.m., we felt cheated out of a whole day. The nice thing was that since they have you pay for a cleaning service, they actually tell you that in an email, we only had to pick up a bit before we left.

Location was the best and it was well stocked. Lights going off all the time is annoying and furniture is scruffy. All our needs were met in a timely fashion. T.V. was replaced. Jacuzzi needed constant attention. All in all it was a typical rental. Bedroom had no closet. Strange layout of rooms. But patio area had nice view. Car on the lift made it difficult to go in or out.
