Breakfast was good . Though few things can be improved .
We didn’t find salt , water for tea was cold . Maybe another variation of egg/ sausage .
1. rooms can have a tea or cofee maker
2. Our balcony had cobwebs .

Very much enjoyed it.
There was a light that kept flashing on and off all through the night keeping me awake. I think it was a motion sensor light to the left of our room outside. Very disturbing.

This is a beautiful inn up on a hill with a view of the area. Our room had a small balcony, which although snowy was nice to have. It's close to hiking and skiing, and the sitting area with a fireplace on the ground floor was very nice.
The inn is older so there is a lot of noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway. We could hear almost everything from the room next door. The mini-split heater was also a bit out of control and had to be turned down to 50 degrees to keep the room at 70 degrees. The inn has a lot of potential, but needs a bit of love. The white tablecloth restaurant should just be replaced with a more casual eatery since the bar area is always full and it's Wilmington, VT.

Would have liked to have had an elevator.

Beautiful bucolic setting. Very nice piece of property.
Poor value at $373.00 for a Monday night. No phone to connect to front desk, no coffee maker, microwave, or mini-fridge in the room to store your food or beverages. A TV screen the size of a laptop with no high-definition.

beautiful inn and restaurant
great food and attentive service

Wonderful period building with original features, staff were lovely and very welcoming, room was clean and tidy with a great bathroom. A 20 minute walk into Wilmington with its great bars and restaurants but as the road is unlit I wouldn't recommend walking at night.
We arrived on a Monday to discover that the restaurant and bar only operated Wednesday to Sunday which meant that we could not enjoy all that the hotel had to offer which was a great disappointment. The room did not have a refrigerator or coffee maker which was also disappointing as all the other hotels on our trip (all of which cost less) did, also the AC unit in the bedroom was so noisy we had to turn it off.

The property/grounds are very nice and renovations/repairs to landscape are in progress. Common areas are lovely, tastefully decorated, and pleasant. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast included. We opted for brunch on Sunday and it was tasty. An easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to downtown Wilmington. Wahoo's near the foot of the property serves Gifford's ice cream which is very rich, creamy and delicious.
Attention to maintenance details such as the weatherstripping was protruding from the side of the exterior door. Given the stately presence of the building, shocked to see guests hanging towels over the balcony railing and drying their laundry from the balcony like it was a motel. There was no indication that this facility was pet friendly which was a plus since I am allergic to pet dander. Shocked to see the person in the room next to me emerge with a dog and dog bowl to put out on the patio.

Breakfast was good for a continental breakfast
The dinner there was the very best I’ve had in a very long time. I would have like to have stayed an xtra night just to dine there again
Breakfast they did seem to run out things like coffee bowls etc. but they were very quick to fix that.
