Location, comfort, great accommodations!! Walkable to neighborhood restaurants (Horn's Eatery, Ruby Slipper, Who Dat, Morrow's, Country Club). There's a grocery (bodega-style) on the corner. The Marigny Opera House is across the street. About 15-20 to walk to Frenchman Str. and the French Quarter. Spent most of our time on the awesome veranda (night/day) Great Kitchen area, comfy beds, Michael was great to communicate from day one. A clean, well-lighted, nicely appointed place! Definitely would stay again!

Stayed here when visiting New Orleans for a Bachelorette party weekend, and this property truly elevated the experience! It’s such a cool house in a great location, and the hosts were very thoughtful in providing amenities above and beyond to accommodate us to make our stay easier, such as an earlier check in, makeup towels in every bathroom and even themed welcoming decorations! The rooms were very comfortable, beautiful and thoughtfully supplied, and checkout was very easy as well! 10/10, would stay here again and I’ll be recommending it to any larger sized parties I know who are traveling to the area and needing a place to stay!

This place is really great. Lots of room. Close to bars and shops and fun things todo. Hosts check in frequently to see if we needed anything. We will be back.

Great house with all the amenities you could want. The owners, Michael and Erika, are very attentive and went "above and beyond" to make sure our stay was exceptional. Would definitely rent from them again. Quick walk to the French Quarter and fun local neighborhood bars and restaurants.

These hosts thought of everything! I can't think of a single thing that could have been improved upon. Jump on renting this place. You won't regret it.

We really enjoyed the house and the area. We loved being able to walk everywhere and having a little convenience store on the corner. The house was big and comfortable and we played lots of ping pong in the game room. The kitchen was well stocked and they even had a few cold beverages awaiting our arrival. The communication from Michael and Erika was excellent and I cannot imagine how our stay could have been made any better! We will be back!

Our stay at Faubourg Marigny was exceptional. We were in NOLA for 2nd weekend of JazzFest. Property is exactly as shown - extremely clean and spacious - actually a bit more spacious than the pictures show. We had 8 adults and had more than enough space. The location is in a great neighborhood - easy/safe walk to Frenchman. Michael and Erika were extremely accommodating and super easy to work with. Overall, we had a really nice experience with this property and would definitely stay again.

We were a group of six who stayed for a full week. The home was perfect and the hosts were super accommodating. Early checkin and late check-out were provided. Some of us forgot our Jazz Fest admission bracelets and (at the Hosts suggestion) we had them mailed overnight to the Hosts, who dropped them off for us. On another day, they dropped off chairs for us to use at Fest (without being asked). It was the first time we had chairs at Fest and it was nice to set up a seating area.
The neighborhood is quiet with a great selection of markets, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. The hosts provided information on all of the local spots. We really enjoyed the St Roch Food Hall (Great Happy Hour with bargain oysters and cocktails), Silk Road, and Sukho Thai. Vegan? No problem, Choices abound.
We walked to Frenchmens Street, The Quarter, and the French Market. It was an easy uber ride to Jazz Fest, the WWII Museum and the Garden District.
The house itself is really comfortable. It's not easy to find 3 full baths - but they have them and they are well equipped. The Mr Mardi Gras Mural was a plus! The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and we shopped at the local markets. The game room was quiet enough for those who needed a to work or practice yoga (and of course we played ping pong). The outside terrace/patio was the perfect place to hang out - the shade awning made it comfortable during the day and it is perfectly lit at night. The living room furniture was comfortable and large enough for all of us to watch tv together.
Thanks to Erika and Michael for a wonderful vacation in NOLA!

No better location than this for easy access to Frenchmen and Bywater area attractions. Friendly neighborhood with loads of unique bars, restaurants, and cafes. Never have I experienced a cleaner apartment. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else next time I’m in NOLA.

Me and 6 of my friends booked Michael and Erika's place for Labor Day weekend. We were impressed with the listing and the photos but seeing it in person only added to our delight. The place is SPACIOUS. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or to take our space separately. All the necessities were in place--plenty of towels, the dark towels for makeup removal, toiletries, etc were all there and added to our comfort. The rules were laid out very clearly and in great detail throughout the house so we knew all the procedures including check-out.
One small area of issue was with water pressure. When more than one of us tried to shower the water pressure reduced drastically making it much more strategic about who showered and when--a challenging thing when we have plans to go out by a certain time. Certainly not a dealbreaker but it could be inconvenient and is definitely something I imagine could be fixed.
In sum, Michael and Erika are great hosts and very prompt to answer any questions or to honor any requests we had. I definitely recommend this property and will be honored to return again in the future.

Great place for friends to gather in New Orleans
Michael and Erika's place was the perfect home base for us during Jazzfest weekend. It's in a great location, not too far from Frenchman street with lots of cute coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The place was spotless and well-suited for a group of friends to stay with plenty of space to spread out. There's a great tiki bar, an outdoor patio and even a rec room with a ping pong table. The only downside is that there's so much to do in NOLA that you'll hardly be at home to enjoy the whole place. We would definitely stay again on our next visit!

Fun Family and Friends Jazz Fest
The property is as described with lots of space to spread out and a bonus is the private outdoors area. Only drawback if I’m being 100% honest is the immediate neighborhood is a little sketchy.. Howevwr, we were able to Uber/Lyft everywhere without any problems.

Love the house, Marigny, and NOL
The owners are stellar, responsive, honest, and clear with all details, and instructions. This was our first travel in Covid times, and this property was very clean and well stocked. Lots of space for visitors, and the outside deck was great in April. A short walk to many restaurants and the heart of the quarter. Thank you so much!!

Great place to stay!!
Beautiful place in a convenient location! The owners were great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had! The house is perfect for 3 or 4 couples. Large common areas to enjoy and plenty of space to spread out ...never felt cramped! The kitchen and bathrooms well appointed. The outdoor patio was large and fun to hang out and talk! It was very clean and beautifully decorated! Area was safe to wander around and we walked a couple times to French Quarter and Frenchmen Street! Uber/Lyft/Taxis easily obtained. Our last night there we watched a parade outside this homes front door! Would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks so much hope to come back someday!

Great Location!
We had a great time at Maison De La Royal from 11/7 to 11/10/19. The property is exactly as described in the listing. It worked out perfectly for our group of 4 couples, although one couple drew the short straw and had to stay in the bunk beds :)
The location of the property was perfect. It is a short walk to Frenchman Street and not far from the French Quarter either. We did tend to use Uber at night. There are several cafes and restaurants close by as well. There is also a full grocery store (Robert's) within walking distance which was great for picking up drinks and snacks.
Michael and Erika were very accommodating with our group's arrival and departure times and we had great communication throughout. I would definitely recommend this property!

We had a great time! There was plenty of room and everything in the place worked as it should. The ping-pong table in the rec room was fun, too! The owners were very accommodating and left us lots of info about the neighborhood and New Orleans in general. Great place to stay!

Great for a group
Family and friends stayed 4 nights and had more room than we could use for the 6 of us. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the owners made check in seamless. They answered all my questions prior to arrival and during ~ very quickly.
We enjoyed being walking distance ~ or under $12 XL Uber rides to French Quarters. Our unit was so quiet and sound proof that we all slept through an over night tropical storm.

Convention stay
We rented this home for our convention instead of hotel rooms.
What a great treat as the 6 of us had plenty of room. This place was above our expectations. Michael, thank you again for all your suggestions. I would highly recommend this to anyone out there.

Location Location
The property was clean and stocked for our needs. The location is terrific - we could easily walk to jazz clubs and the French Quarter and never felt unsafe in the surrounding neighborhoods. The sidewalks on the way to the French Quarter need repair in many places, but found that to be the case throughout New Orleans.
The owners were responsive and allowed a group with later flights to store their luggage after check-out time.
Everyone in the party agreed the house was a hit. Would definitely stay there again.

Exceeds Expectations!
Wonderful space for our group of 8 adults. Large bedrooms and large common rooms, lots of spaces to be together or separate. Patio was a wonderful treat each evening and morning. We didn't take advantage of kitchen but it was well stocked. Though the house itself was ideal, the location was truly outstanding! We had cars but there where so many great restaurants & bars within walking distance, cars where not needed. Host ensured we had all information, options and locations for any possible need. Highly, highly recommend this place, it was perfect. The evening trains were a bit bothersome for front bedroom, but soon got used to sound.

Excellent location. We all felt at ease and safe in the neighborhood.
We traveled with three adults and four teenagers and found the property to be excellent. We walked to every attraction in the French Quarter and played ping pong every night. Plenty of sleeping space for all. The home had everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay. Michael, the host, was very accommodating and helpful. This is a most excellent place to stay. We would recommend it to everyone.

Thank you, your home was lovely!
We really enjoyed our time in New Orleans and especially where we stayed. The house was wonderful and spacious and really comfortable. I would love to come back here again. Thank you to the owners, our daughters wedding was so nice and it was great to have such a comfy place to come home to.

Great stay for a girls weekend out.
The house was clean and a nice size for five of us on a girls weekend. It's a bit of a walk to the main parts of the French Quarter, but if you're okay with walking, it's fine. There is a small grocery store on the same block, so that was helpful for buying a few items for breakfast. Michael was very helpful and easy to work with. We had a great time!

Awesome place to stay!!
Michael was very quick to answer any questions leading up to our stay and even more so once we arrived. Great recommendations of restaurants, modes of transportation, bars, spas, anything you need he's got the answer! ... highly recommend going to Mimi's on the corner about 1 block down from the house for great tapas food, the corner was very convenient to grab and go. The house has a lot of character and a very unique layout. Beds were all incredibly comfortable. Very very clean. The house is about a mile from all the action, so being able to get out of the hustle and bustle and hang out on the porch was a great balance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the great City of New Orleans!!! I will be back :)

The condo is amazing! Very spacious for our group of 8.
We were there for my son’s wedding and it was a wonderful experience all the way around! It was great knowing we had a wonderful and convenient place for everyone to gather. Michael is a wonderful host and very responsive to any and all questions and requests. The house is well stocked and the rec room and balcony are amazing!! We will stay there again!

Spacious, well kept and conveniently located
The apartment is spacious and very nice. The patio space is a very unique feature given its location just between the living room and kitchen - makes for a great place for morning coffee. And the rec room was also pretty unique. Even though we did not utilise it, the rec room would be a versatile option for adult hosting or as a space for younger ones to hang out. The location was also a great plus as the French Quarter, Marigny and By water neighborhoods are all well within walking distance. Lastly Michael was a great host, very friendly and attentive. My friends and I look forward to coming back to Michael's place whenever we return to NOLA.
