Great location for ski enthusiasts, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and spacious living areas provide a perfect retreat after a day on the slopes. Repeat visits are likely!

Great location with a very short walk to the lifts and ability to ski back to the door. The condo was clean, but has a few tired carpets that could use deep shampooing or replacement. We cooked every meal (except 1) at the house and had everything we needed in the kitchen amenities. The team was very responsibe when we had an issue with the hot tub not starting and it was up and running again in no time. The house definitely met our needs and we would consider a repeat.

The access to Ironhorse lift and the slopes was great. It was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the stay!

Location is fine. It’s a short walk to put your skis on and ski off. Unit needs a deep clean and some love. All the carpets and bedding need to be replaced. It needs a new coat of interior paint and a new stove top. The push button door needs new batteries or to be replaced. Having a few more amenities would be nice (ie paper towels). I was told that if you are in the bunk bed and someone else moves, you will feel it. As a skier the location is great, although it would be nice if they had a welcome book explaining where to get on the mountain, restaurant options, shopping locations, etc. The trash and recycling is a 3 minute drive away and they do recycle glass despite the one note in the house saying they do not.

Three story condo situated between the Pony Express and iron horse lifts. Short walk to pop on skis and hit the slopes. Condo was in excellent condition, hot tub, laundry a plus. Six in the crew easily slept in bedrooms on the first and third floors. Nice big common room with gas fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to feed the gang. 10 min drive to grocery store and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Perfect for a ski trip to Big Sky
6.0 / 10.0
The condo worked well for what we needed-- somewhere to retreat after exhausting days of skiing. The two best parts are the location (easy to ski in/out) and the hot tub.
The condo could definitely use some updates and some more amenities to warrant the price. The carpet was stained, there were holes in the walls, and the blinds were broken. Things were overall dingy. Basic amenities like Kleenex or hairdryers were nowhere to be found. The heating is very dry, some humidifiers would help.
We loved Big Sky, the skiing is great, but we might look for nicer lodgings next time.

We own and rent a vacation rental and we would be appalled if our house ever looked like this or our property manager downplayed customer’s concerns like this. Here is a list of the issues with this house: mold in bathroom ceiling over shower (leak and/or drywall repair needed), blinds broken in two rooms (we had no privacy and vacasa never got back to us our entire stay about fixing this issue like they said they would), blood on wall, holes in walls, 3 spoons in entire house, kitchen super unorganized, dirty cabinets and drawers (found old takeout food in dresser drawer), carpet floor is gross, one of the pillows was so dirty it was brown, step on trash can broken so it wouldn’t open unless you manually pulled up top, grill was dirty, vacuum didn’t work (maybe why floors are disgusting), no shovel to shovel snow, freezer wouldn’t close (seems like it’s bent), window in kitchen wouldn’t close so drafty. I see a couple years ago people complained about no spoons. Vacasa and VRBO have ignored our calls and requests for compensation. This house shouldn’t be rented until the issues are taken care of.

Great location, lots of room, clean and well stocked. Ski in and out is a great advantage. Very little driving. This was our 3rd year in this unit and plan on getting it again next year.

The Place to Be
If you ski, you want to stay here. Easy access to the lifts, easy home. Heavenly hot tub after a day on the slopes. The house accommodated our family of 8 comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make great home cooked meals after skiing. If you want night life and nearby restaurants this is not the location for you. Saddle Ridge offers peace and the stars of Big Sky!

Ski in/ski out
The home is located in Moonlight basin which is at the the end of Lone Mountain road. Home is a split level with the two main bedrooms on the floor below the entry landing. There is a game room below this level and kitchen/dining and living are on the second floor. The third floor has the room with the bunk beds. There are three full baths en suite with each of the three bedrooms and a half bath off the entryway. The location is beautiful with a view of the mountains off the balcony. The lifts near the home operate when there is adequate snow but the drive up the mountain after returning from the base or the grocery store rewards with views of nature and scenery.House provides a good home base for skiers or other outdoor activity. West Yellowstone is only 1hr and 30 minutes down the road.

Peaceful and relaxing
The property overall was very well maintained. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the views from the decks. It was very peaceful around, we enjoyed the sunrises each morning and even listening to the thunderstorms at night. Only had minor details which we would have liked and that was additional dish towels and all purpose cleaner to be left in the place. The property has a great cleaning crew so you really don’t have much to worry about when it comes to checking out. We would stay here again.

Location is awesome. Condo has well equipped kitchen, all appliances work well. Beds are comfortable & living space adequate for family of 6 (+).

Dated.
This property needs maintenance . Furnace was loud, thermostat wasn’t functional (couldn’t turn down heat), aspects of property were broken (no locking sliding doors, broken sink). Great location, but needs serious TLC.

Good stay
Overall the property was as advertised. The only problem being the master bathroom shower did not work and the handle in the upstairs bedroom came off and didn't work either.

Great house for a ski vacation
We stayed at this house for a week of skiing. It is very well equipped for a long stay. Everything i needed in the kitchen was there. The beds were very comfortable the house was exceptionally clean. Easy access to both Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing.

2020 Ski Trip
This was a great location for ski-in/ski-out property. The neighborhood was quiet. The house had plenty of space and was well laid out. We wish the hot tub would have stayed a little warmer, but that was a minor issue. Note: Moonlight Lodge is for members only even for dining or bar, so don't count on that as an apres/night spot to hangout.

Great location - poor housekeeping
I've waited awhile to write this review - have been coming to Big Sky for years and have stayed in various types of properties with various rental management companies across the mountain. Really wanted to like this property because layout & proximity to slopes is perfect. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt that our experience was just a fluke but probably won't stay here/use Vacasa again.
5 stars for location/layout - in early March the property was easily ski in-out. The outdoor locked ski racks were perfect - and the large entry made it easy to get gear on. Decks were all shoveled and accessible.
3 (maybe 2) stars for housekeeping. Couldn't find any spoons, cups/plates. The dishwasher was completely full. Granted, it had been run, but the last thing I want to do my first morning of vacation is unload a packed dishwasher.
3 of the 4 bathrooms had no towels - found some in a cupboard and we distributed among the baths that had none. Found dirty linens rolled up in the downstairs spare room.
Washing machine - spin was loud, after 3rd load noticed water had leaked onto carpet and washer had not spun out the load (apparently a new washer was on order - unbeknownst to us until a guy showed up the next day without notice to install a new one - he'd been told nobody was staying in the property) When I went to put first load in the dryer - found a full load of SOAKING/DRIPPING towels that had by then been sitting for at least 3 days! This explained no towels in the baths and dirty linens in the basement. So I had to rewash the towels etc that were now smelly. I get that appliances break and things may need repaired during a stay - but housekeeping obviously knew the washer wasn't working, didn't bother to tell us, and left wet laundry that could have sat there all week. High note - the new washer was great!
Final straw - the bunk beds - 1 of the lower bunks collapsed while a normal-sized 17 yr old was sitting up watching Netflix. Not 1, but 2 of the mattress supports broke - each board had broken through a knot in the wood. Looked at the other bed - had obviously had the same problem and been repaired with larger boards. Notified Vacasa - no apology or concern about the possibility of any injury - but did offer to fix the next day - we declined and my son decided to just sleep on the top bunk.
Hopefully our experience was the exception - but the above coupled with inattention to smaller details just turned us off for a repeat stay.

Awesome house!! We loved it
Loved this place and lots of space including 4 bedrooms and one with 2 large bunk beds so sleeps a lot of kids. We only had 4 people and was very spread out. Kitchen has everything and more. Hot tub was warm every time and easy to open and close. Only negatives are almost too minor to mention. No where to throw out garbage and per locals it was a two mile drive so plan on taking it down to dumpster by car or make less.

Great house. Poor job by house cleaning
This is a nice home with great amenities. 2 bags of trash welcomed us on the front porch and were never taken away. Empty beer cans by hot tub, too. Access to Moonlight Lodge was pay only- not included as we were led to believe. Had to buy items that were supposed to be included like dish and laundry detergent. But a very nice home and good location and served our groups needs well.

Beautiful home, amazing views
This home was spacious, with tons of room for everyone to hang out, and every bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The condo itself should probably have a multi-zone heating system, but there were plenty of space heaters to make every room comfortable. And the views from the condo were just jaw-droppingly beautiful.
The only negative thing I would say is that It’s not a true ski in-ski out condo, as you have to walk about 100 yards to get to the lifts - and the walk up hill at the end of the day is a drag. It would also have been nice to have some instructions in the condo to explain how to get to the lift, as it was not obvious. It wasn’t a big deal for me or my 20-something kids but it was harder for my husband, who had a back problem.
Big Sky is fabulous place to ski and this was a great place to stay.

Beautiful place
The apartment was lovely, and a quick drive to Big Sky to ski. Kitchen was extremely well-equipped - whoever furnished it is obviously a real cook! It was also very near a little plaza with restaurants & a grocery store.
One negative was that the heat in the main room kept shutting off - seemed to be a fuse thing. But the owners were very responsive!

Great place to stay for a big family, would definitely stay again.
The townhouse was in good location a few steps from the slopes, with plenty of room for our family group of 8. It was in very condition, with all of the needed amenities and a well-stocked kitchen. The reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is the heating was broken (and had been shut off) when we arrived, and the management company had neither notified us nor done anything to address the issue. They did eventually drop off space heaters which worked until the heating was repaired.

Shivering
Heat did not work, leaving the entire house unbelievably cold. They sent a person to fix the furnace but apparently didn’t fix it and was never called upon the matter again. Washer was out of order and was not told so before.

Nice place
Very nice place but experienced between reservation that garbage, laundry, bedding and dishes were not handled. Housekeeping didn’t show up so upon our return three days later we were having to clean the place.
Other than that views, hot tub and location were great.

the place was beautiful
We loved the townhouse and all that it included. We had lots of room. We used the crockpot for some chili which was great!. The only thing that was a little disappointing was none of the decks were shoveled. The deck off the living room was at least 5 feet high and solid ice. If we had wanted to BBQ, it would have been very difficult. We had to dig out lots of snow around the hottub to get the lid open. It normally would not be a big deal but since the sun finally came out after our long MT winter, we would have liked to enjoy some of it off the deck. We thought it was weird the hottub was outside the master bedroom making it harder for other people to enjoy.

Our stay was awesome
This place has everything you would need and plenty of room. The only negative was none of the decks had been shoveled leaving about 5 feet of snow on the main deck. We had to dig out snow to get the hottub cover open. I'm glad we didn't plan on using the BBQ.

Mardi Gras Snow Vacay
Our town home, Saddle Ridge I-5, was beautiful, convenient, clean and perfect distance to Madison Base ski area and Mountain Village ski area. After a full day of skiing, our 3 young children were able to come home to either play in the snow or relax in the hot tub while we cooked dinner and enjoyed the cozy fireplace. The kids also enjoyed the media room with a Wii gaming station. This town home was actually big enough for 2 families to share. The staff at Vacasa was very helpful each time we called with questions. Big Sky was beautiful, and we can't wait to go back.
