Awesome view from the room and the kindness of the owner.

A localização é ótima, a vista linda e os donos muito atenciosos. Recebemos toda ajuda e informação necessária.
O chuveiro era ruim e o café da manhã poderia ser melhor.

- Amazing stay! We got upgraded to a room with the most beautiful view ever, 3 sides of the lake. Excellent views from this hostel
- Quiet hostal
- It is getting restored so starts to look so much better
-Super friendly owners
- Good breakfast
- Flexible and provided extra blankets when asked, but didn't fully need them because the rooms seem to keep the warmth in quite well
- Excellent price quality
Nothing not to like! Maybe the road up? But that's like this in the whole town

Amazing view, lovely staff, very nice room, hot water worked, decent breakfast. One of the best places I've stayed in South America :)
4.5
I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It's a nice and quite place, there's good breakfast and they also offer dinner which was delicious. But I didn't have hot water in the private room. However, I liked the place and everyone was friendly and helpful.

fantastic view from the living room; wifi is not bad; room is spacious
1. the housekeeping lady doesn’t know we had a booking there; because the owner didn’t update the booking info with her, we had an unpleasant beginning;
2. shower in the room was hot for literally 2 mins, and the night in Isla del sol is freezing cold;
3. the house keeping lady isn’t always available to help us because she has to take care of all the guests and the cleaning and the cooking all by herself, so sometimes she is a big impatient, as she’s got so much work to do; (I can’t really blame her, she basically worked from 7am to 11pm while we were staying there)
4. kitchen is not available, no water refill, for hot water to drink, 5 Boliviano.

The most amazing place - the view from our bedroom window was something out of this world. the room was really nice and clean and staff super friendly.

Amazing view, very friendly staff. Shower had hot water which is not guaranteed on Isla de Sol. Warm blankets for the nights which got quite cold.
It is at the top of the island, so it's quite a hike. You can get a donkey to carry your luggage to the hostel for cheap, strongly recommend if you are not used to the altitude
Water pressure is low in the shower.

Clean and comfortable, owner is lovely, good breakfast. Hot water in the showers, which we gather is a luxury on the island! short walk to restaurants

Amazing stay, beautiful room and good breakfast. Staff are super lovely. it’s close to the restaurants with amazing views
everything was perfect. it’s a steep climb to get there so I’d advice not to bring large backpacks.

Spacious lovely room with the best view in the world. Large and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious too.
The owner was unbelievably helpful!
Shower was not optimal.

The views were amazing. Nice and quiet at night time. Breakfast was great.
It’s a long steep climb up to the property. Make sure you only have light bags with you.

This place is amazing! The house turned-hostel feels like a hotel. I stayed in a private room and it was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. Everything is clean, good breakfast and you get the most amazing views. There's a meditation/yoga room and beautiful gardens. Perfect to relax. Close to restaurants and small shops. The owner will help you with anything you need. I truly enjoyed my stay! Just keep in mind it's quite a steep walk to get there!! Pack light!!
It was all perfect! WiFi is slow but you go to the island to disconnect from the hussle and reconnect with nature.

Very nice owner. Spacious and clean rooms. Beautiful view. Good breakfast.

The most beautiful view we've ever had from our room! Three walls full with windows of a view of the lake. Can see the lake from lying in bed even. Slept with curtains open so we could wake up to the sunrise. Nice breakfast. Not far from the restaurants.
Could not recommend this more!
Nothing!

Amazing hostel, probably our favourite in Bolivia! Lovely rooms, hot showers, great wifi, lovely breakfast and stunning views of the island! The owners are so kind - we wished we could have stayed longer!
Just note it is up a steep hill so leave big backpacks behind if possible!
Nothing!

Really nice location with wonderful view from the room!

The owners were so, so lovely. We hiked to the North of the Island and back and they were so helpful with suggestions and advice. Breakfast was lovely, pancakes were divine!!
Sunrise from the front garden was something I'll never forget. Please get up early to watch it, you won't regret it.
We ate at Pachamama restaurant which had perfect view of the sunset.
Wish I'd have stayed one week not one night.
Highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best view and location on this island. More beautiful than in those photos on booking.com.
We stayed in a corner room with windows on 3 sides showing gorgeous lake view. We even can see the lake, isla de la Luna and gigantic snow mountains just laying on our bed.
The room is very clean, cozy and spacious with clean restroom and nice hot shower.
Very good breakfast. They serve pancake, scrambled egg, fresh fruit juice, fruit with yogurt, tea and coffee. Perfect location. The whole house located at the end of a cliff. So nothing blocks your sight of lake view. But meanwhile its close to town center, only 10 mins walk to main street of many restaurants and sunset point.
The owner Jose is super nice. He speaks a little english and gave us many good advices about hiking around the island.
And most important, for such beautiful view, good environment and perfect location, the price is very reasonable. Really good value, 200% recommend it.
Nothing at all.
3.5
The view!
Unfortunately Internet did not work at all.
You’d better prepare the map how to get there, it’s not easy at all and it’s not signed at all.
The way up especially with the big luggage is a challenge.

The hostel and room was beautiful! The owner was super nice, really helpful with walking routes and anything I needed. The breakfast was amazing too. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful room, really comfy bed. Warm in the room despite the cold of the isla. Hot showers around the clock! Owners live on site and are absolutely delightful. Big delicious breakfast included. Views out over the lake and across to the cordillera real absolutely stunning. Nearby restaurants and shops really great. Some excellent pizzerias nearby. Wifi works pretty well most of the time. Nice garden with donkey included. Honestly really delightful place.
Hot water in the evening for tea would have been an added bonus.

Very friendly owners, comfortable beds, great view of the mountains. Wifi was good most of the time! Great breakfast too.

Despite the always cool climate, the room was bright and nicely decorated.
The hostal is about a 30-45 minute walk up a very steep pathway. Many of the trails are unmarked. Neither, of course, is the fault of the hostal.

The owner is lovely and so welcoming. We were lucky to stay in a beautiful room with a 180 degrees view on the lake and the island. It was warm and cozy and the bathroom had hot water. The place is 10-15 mins walk uphill giving a great view. Breakfast was really good and everything is also super super clean!

Amazing views from the windows of our bedroom
Staff very friendly and welcoming
Good breakfast
Shower was cold - not ideal as the weather is very cold both at night (when you get back) and in the morning.

The owner was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was nice as well. The view is amazing! There was also warm water in the shower

I had a great experience in Inti Wayra.
The house is beautiful and very well decorated.
There is huge living with great 180° view on the lake, east side. Every morning, I had breakfast watching the sun arising from the snowy mountains on the edge of the lake.
There is a big garden with gorgeous flowers all around.
My room was cozy and warm. Real hot water running strongly 24h.
The breakfast is yummy and with plenty of food. It is possible to dine also on request.
On the last floor there is a terrace that is perfect for watching the stars at night.
It is also possible to practice yoga and meditation in the equipped common space on the 1st floor: it's a big hall with carpets, yoga mats and a wooden buddha protecting the room.
All around is silent and pure air. The house is located almost on the top of the hill.
It's a few minutes walking from the restaurants area and from the Queñani mountain, perfect spot for the sunset, those amazing sunsets of the island.
And it's also the perfect start for the path to the northern part of the island, which I could easily reach after 2,5 hours.
The Wifi is working very good and it's available in every part of the house. That's why I extended my stay and spent an entire week in the hostel, working on-line and enjoying the island vibes.
José, the owner, is an exquisite person and he has magic powers: he can read your mind and anticipate your needs !
He knows exactly what suits you best and gives you great hints on how to get the best of your stay.
And he also tells great stories about the island and the local culture. It is a great pleasure to listen to him.
I really recommend this place. It's a hostel with a warm heart.
And I'm looking forward to come back.
PS: In case you have a heavy luggage, I suggest to contract transportation by donkey.
You can find the service at the bottom of the hill, as soon as you jump off the boat.
