About this house rental

Rent this 7 bedroom, 4 bath, 2 floor home, located in a quiet community just north of Dewey Beach. This home is located 2-1/2 blocks from the ocean and within easy walking distance to downtown Dewey. Ample private driveway space for renters and their guests to park and leave cars or even a boat at the house without the need to purchase parking permits. This house is functional, providing excellent value and is ideal for large family gatherings or groups looking for a beach rental at a reasonable price. If you like to spend time with friends, you have flexibility for 2 or 3 families that want to vacation together. The house is designed with flexibility to enable adults to have privacy in their own section of the house and their children in the other side or families can each have a private section of their own. The front section of the house has a full kitchen, living room and one of the four full bathrooms on the second floor along with a large deck off of the living room. Downstairs in the front section of the house there is another full bath and three bedrooms (one room with a queen bed, one room with two twins and one small room with a bunk bed) and also includes a deck off of one of the bedrooms. The back section of the house on the second floor has a large breakfast room with an additional refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, sink and TV. Also on the second floor is a full bath room, a bedroom with a full size bed and another bedroom with two twins. Downstairs in the back of the house there is another full bath and a bedroom with a king bed and a bedroom with a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin up above. The house also has two outside showers in the back of the house, washer and dryer, propane outside grill and Wi-Fi internet available. If you want to visit downtown Rehoboth Beach, catch the Jolly Trolley for a short ride to the board walk, shops, additional dining and dancing experiences. Check in at 3pm on Friday and check out the following Friday by 10am. Guests are responsible for their own linens, towels and paper products. This beach house worked perfectly for our group- 2 parents plus 9 adults age 21-35. At one point we had 9 cars on the driveway and still had room for cornhole. Craig stopped in to say Hello when we checked in and was available by text/phone. It is an easy 2.5 block walk to the beach. We plan to be back next year!

This site was a perfect place to get away and enjoy the beauty, amenities, and lifestyle of Dewey, Delaware. The property owner/manager was friendly, available, and hospitable. We love our annual Dewey trips, and this new location did not disappoint. Plenty of spaces in this rental to enjoy some alone time while coming back together to enjoy family time. All of this and within a brief walk to the beach, nightlife, and fun hot spots.

House was very adequate for our large family, nice location and comfy beds. Only downside, top bunk on 1 set did not have safety rail so was unusable. Shaded lower deck very nice.

There were some older people with knee challenges which made going up and down the stairs a bit difficult. Also the bunk beds were a challenge. We enjoyed the proximity of the beach and shopping areas! Overall, our stay was good and we enjoyed our celebration! Our host was very helpful!

The house is spacious and well set out for a large group of friends to allow everyone space to gather or retreat for quiet time. It’s also in a great location for just a short walk to the beach and shops/restaurants etc in Dewey. Definitely recommend.

We loved our week at Dewey Beach. The house was perfect for our growing family. There was a bed for everyone! The walk to the beach was easy enough. You do cross one fairly busy street but there’s a cross walk with a light. The upper deck in the late afternoon was so nice. We enjoyed many meals out there. We loved walking to the beach after dinner and letting the dogs play. Craig was wonderful with communicating and made the check in and out so easy. We loved gathering in the kitchen and family room at night for games. Great house and we hope to stay there again.

Unit was exactly as described. We had a variety of family members join us over the course of the week... from my 85 year old father to my youngest - who is 19. It was perfect to accomodate a larger group. Kitchen well stocked (although we did eat out a lot). Lots of parking for cars. The distance to the beach is really a VERY easy walk. However, I would make a note that if you have elderly parents or very young children, the walk to the beach might? be a little much. I saw families pushing young kids (under 5) in strollers and I (personally) had to drive my dad at the beach and then return the car back to our house parking. The walk was just a little too far - if someone has mobility issues.

This vacation home is well maintained and stocked w/the essentials for a multi-family get together. This home is big enough for groups to meet and socialize throughout the house. Information was provided prior to check-in of house rules and how to care for the house and where to find essentials. Craig, the property owner was helpful & responded quickly & checked back when we had questions. We look forward to our next family visit to the beach in 2025.

My friends and I loved our stay here. Perfect location close to the bars and beach, but far enough away to relax and unwind on a nice, quiet street when you need a break. Spacious and clean inside, with bedrooms away from the main room when you need some rest. We already plan on renting again next year!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in Dewey and couldn’t be happier with the Elizabeth St beach house. It’s in a great location with only a short walk to both the beach and all that Dewey has to offer. The house is very spacious and has four full bathrooms which is great. It also has wonderful accommodations such as two outdoor showers and decks. Craig the owner reached out with all of the relevant property information shortly before our vacation and followed up to make sure we arrived without any issues which was very nice. Definitely a spot we will look to rent in the future!

Awesome place for a family gathering

It was perfect for our family! We brought six children, also had grandparents and SIL and cousin staying with us. Lovely bedrooms for lots of people, we cooked and ate meals together in the bigger kitchen/living room on the one side and gathered our big family for games etc. there. During the day it was nice that all the kids could hang out on the other side of the house in a gathering space with a microwave for popcorn and a refrigerator for their drinks. The kids stayed up late and didn't keep us up as they had their own place to visit. Everything we needed was there - outdoor shower for beach sand, grill for dinner, every appliance we needed to cook meals for a big crew. And having four bathrooms and showers was so much appreciated when everyone comes home and needs a shower! I was also able to do laundry out last day before we went home and that made it all much easier. Also there is plenty of parking, that is important. This is an awesome place to rent for a week at the beach, especially with a big family!

The house is very spacious and is a nice quiet neighborhood. It is a short walk to the beach although you do have to cross a very busy intersection. It was fantastic to have outdoor showers so we didn’t have to track sand through the house. The on-site laundry was also a plus. The house is set up like a duplex so if you wanted privacy it was easily obtained. There are four large bathrooms which also was beneficial. There was plenty to do in the area and it’s also a short drive to Ocean City, MD.

The Elizabeth house was a great property for our families with teens. The layout and dual kitchens allowed everyone plenty of space to hang out, the number of bathrooms and outdoor showers were perfect for keeping beach sand outside! Walking distance to the beach, grill full size washer dryer all accommodated our family. Craig was a wonderful host, highly recommend !

Stayed with a group of friends all between 27-29. The house was a great fit for us because of its proximity to the Dewey restaurants and bars. The surrounding neighbors were all extremely nice and none too loud. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the showers, which was dismal. However, the owner mentioned he was working on that prior to our stay, so we knew going in. It will likely be fixed for the next guests.

Really nice big house. No negative surprises. Unusual layout with separate staircases leading to the second floor, but no connection between front and back side of house on the second floor. Very conducive to privacy if rented by multiple families. Especially with separate full kitchens on both sides of the house. Excellent location, quiet block, fun walk to the ocean. One request if we were to go again: allow bbq on 2nd floor deck instead of rear of house. All in all, terrific! Thank you, Craig!

We are a big family of 10 including a dog, adults and kids and had a great stay. It was nice that the house had essentially two different houses in one, so we were able to have peace and quiet when We wanted. Craig was excellent with everything, he and answered all questions promptly and even stopped by to drop off a brand new bbq brush. All appliances in kitchen worked well. Ample plates and silverware. Fans all over the house is very useful for August humidity , but, there is central air which also worked very well. House is on a quiet street about 3 blocks from the beach, easy 9 min walk. Ample parking, can fit 4 SUVs easily. Within driving distance to everything and easy access to several bike trails! We had an amazing stay. Thank you Craig!

My family and extended family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here at Craig’s house. Everything was very clean, nicely updated and we were all able to fit comfortably. Having the two kitchens/spaces was great and afforded separate space for privacy when needed. Short walk to the beautiful beach! We will definitely be back!
