We stayed for 3 nights in Anne's home and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and fully stocked. Everything we needed was available to us to make meals, relax and even lots of info to find local attractions. Outdoor seating whether to enjoy a meal, or by the fire was great. Though it took a bit of time for the hot tub to heat, it was a wonderful way to end our day. We would recommend this place to all those looking for a comfortable and relaxing spot.

Anne’s home is a great place for a large family or extended family to stay. We loved the fact that three bedrooms have king or queen beds and the adjoining room to the bunk room was great for the kids. Our kids loved the kids table with toys and art supplies as well as the ping pong and basketball in the basement. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub and the deck. It’s a nice short drive into downtown. The home did get rather hot and humid a few days, but there were plenty of fans left by the owner.

The biggest concern with this home is that it LACKED WORKING SMOKING ALARMS. We discovered this on our own and reinstalled them. In addition, the house advertised a hot tub. The day we were to arrive, the owner let us know we would have to flip a fuse switch for it to turn on, and that for this minor inconvenience she would refund us $300. Not a problem, I said. However, after a day of skiing, it turned out the tub would not be working at all during our stay (due to a broken heat pump). This was, unsurprisingly, very disappointing. However, not only was the owner unwilling to provide a further discount, she ignored my emails about this and I had to call her to get a response. All I can do is conclude is that if you take the risk to stay here and something is not working while you're there, her attitude will be "tough luck." In addition, the hang-out area was physically uncomfortable, the cable TV did not allow use of Netflix, Disney+, etc., and the heating system was not working well. While I would not have left this review had the hot tub worked, I think the fact that the owner was inconsiderate in that she was unwilling to provide any consideration in addition to the $300 she promised to refund us BEFORE she knew the hot tub would not be working speaks volumes about her as a host. I would not trust her.

Our family (parents + three kids, ages 12, 9, and 5) stayed here MLK weekend to ski at Sugarbush and could not have had a more wonderful weekend! The property was in a prime location, just minutes from Mt Ellen and the main Sugarbush resort, which was ideal for 3 days of skiing. The house was exactly as advertised/pictured and it was the perfect place to relax each night after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked, the beds were comfortable, and our kids thoroughly enjoyed all the games and toys that were in the house (especially the ping pong table and the basketball shooting game in the basement!) If you're looking for a home away from home to explore the area, you can't go wrong here - we hope to be back in the future!
