I so enjoyed our stay. It was super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will defiantly recommend and stay again. 5 Stars for sure!!!!

A clean & comfortable apartment! Great location in the little town of Stone Lake, within walking distance to almost everything local. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need, it was nice to have the kitchen & washer/dryer. Great communication with host! Highly recommend!

Was a great place to stay. Very clean and close to restaurants. We came up to ride the ATV trails. Very close to hop on trails, which were great! Hope to return soon ‼️

This place was clean and the beds comfy. It lacks amenities. No filter for the coffee pot. No decent pots or pans for cooking. No way to really communicate with the owner in case of questions. No kindling to start a fire outside in the pit. So if you plan to cook or eat there and not eat out, be prepared.

Hello! We took our first vacation in 6 months and we stayed at this great place. The size was perfect for 4 adults. It is right in the middle of town so you can walk to everything. The owner was very flexible and helpful. We had a nice fire in the fire pit and went for a nice walk near at the nature preserve across the road. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Our friends who have a cabin in the area visited us and loved the place. They will definitly be recommending this place to guests who visit them on vacation.

This little apartment is a real charm located right in the town of Stone Lake. It has a cabin-like appeal to it and is located in a nice area. 2 separate bedrooms, one with qn and one with dbl beds. Nice bathroom and shower attached to a bedroom. Perhaps helpful to have a few more dishes, cups, etc. and definitely need a wine opener! Firewood was supplied but we really had to be creative for newspaper and kindling to get the fire going. We enjoyed the fire pit and shopping at the local stores in Stone Lake and Hayward. I would recommend this place and stay there again.

The little apartment served our needs. Clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again! The owner was very accommodating.

The Pros: The property has some key essentials for a snowmobile trip: A long wide driveway to fit the snowmobile trailer and pickup truck. A clothes dryer (which proved handy to dry wet clothes from snowmobiling). A refrigerator and microwave to heat up some leftovers for breakfast. The location - close proximity to a restaurant (Marie's Hideaway) to grab dinner and a drink after a day on the trails. Easy/quick access to the trails. A couch and a day bed in the living area provided space for us to layout our snowmobile gear. The owner was friendly and very responsive to email requests and provided some snowmobile trail maps so we could check out the local trails. The Cons: The one bathroom adjoins the master bedroom, so not ideal for a group of adults traveling together - but it worked fine for one night. It was cold when we were there (in the low single digits) and the heater is located at one end of the apartment so the bedroom and bathroom in the back of the apartment took a while to get warm. They did warm up and there was a 'free standing' heater in the back bedroom to help get it warm. Overall, it was a good place to stay for a quick snowmobile trip.

Property owner answered all questions in a timely manner. The kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, with a few more amenities. Some clearer directions for the television would have been helpful. Sleeping was comfortable. Bathroom was well stocked and clean.

Wonderful place to stay with restaurants and bars in walking distance. The place was very clean, well decorated and comfortable for a long weekend of skiing.

We stayed 3 nights. My teenage boys were impressed with the Wifi speed and we enjoyed watching Netflix movies after a day of sightseeing. The place sleeps 5 comfortably. One of my sons chose to sleep on the couch and he was quite comfortable. We would book again if in the area.

This was a great spot to get away. Rental was clean and resources outstanding. If I’m ever back in the area this will be the first I look for availability.

Perfect location for multiple lake visits. Sheila is a fantastic host and the place is really nice. We enjoyed ourselbes, as it felt like home. Sheila has an over the top bike, for you bike enthusiasts. We will return in the future.

Clean, spacious and quiet accommodations that are close to our family’s annual reunion held at Slim Lake. We will return next year. Needs: K cup machine didn’t work, but the coffee shop was good and close. Hair dryer ran, then shut off. Some type of stain on the inside of the entrance door and the storm door’s bottom hinge is broken. Smart TV, WiFi and walk to coffee, grocery, bars & stores are all positives.

Worked out well for our travel to book this place for two nights! A little tricky to find. But once we found it we were pleased! 😀😀 would recommend others to stay here!

A couple of friends and I took a 3 day motorcyle trip to Northwest Wisconsin where we rented this vacation home. It was perfect! It was homey with comfortable sleeping arrangements very nice bathroom with a wonderful walk in shower and a living room/kitchen area that made our trip feel like we were relaxing in one of own homes. And do not let the size of the town, Stone Lake, fool you! There were 3 bars, two which were also eating establishments, grocery store,and a dollar store. All within 3 easy walking blocks. It is also located very conveniently to many tourist attractions in the area. Thank you Sheila, we have already decided we will be back next year!
