This place was clean and nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We were there in winter on a really cold week and the wood burning stove was so nice. We needed help with a couple things and Norman helped us quickly. My favorite part is the view out the back of the house. Just a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again :)

A fantastic stay and property. Good communication and easy to check in and out out of normal business hours

This house was super unique, and the view was amazing! It had a retro vibe throughout, and the kids loved having a room with bunks to themselves. Parking was easy, the furniture was all comfy, and accessing the place was easy. It’s slightly out of town, so quieter, and close enough to still be convenient. The only problem we encountered was that it got very buggy at night, so we really had to be careful not to let bugs in as we were entering and exiting the property (they loved that porch light!). Overall, good family spot!

Beautiful location, great facilities, comfortable amenities, and very accessible. Loved it.

This property was better than expected!

No information was provided while making the booking for Lenin charges $35 per person. This was very new and was made aware after booking got confirmed so no choice.
Place full of insects and mosquitoes in the evening and was hard to live with lights switched on. Although the decor of the house is good but too old . No sufficient power points.
Cleaning was not up to the mark. Furniture was surrounded with web at several places.
Amazing location was missing renovation.
The price paid does not justify just for the location.

This property is just as beautiful as it looks. Being right on the lake was absolutely amazing and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. There were fans available for the extremely warm days which was amazing. Having the beach right out the back door was the best part. The only problem we had is that I don’t think I booked our stay long enough. We will definitely be back

Location of property was excellent and the view is amazing. Check in was a breeze. Furnishings are a little outdated, but overall it was a great stay.

We loved this spacious and well appointed house. We stayed with grandparents, teenage children and our dog and it worked really well. Thoughtfully furnished and lovely and clean. We used the kayaks and loved being right beside the lake. It is a wonderful setting.

Great bach on the lake in Rotorua. Close to the airport. Enjoyed our communication with Norman and Fiona, the housekeeper. Our kids loved the games and beach toys.

fantastic spot. Very peaceful. Super cute property.

Beautiful home, lovely views and very clear instructions up front. I'm sure the owners would have been very helpful but we didn't need a thing! There were only two of us but it definitely would have been great for more. Highly recommend.

Very spacious and comfortable home.
Location right by the lake was so peaceful and so relaxing.

Lots of space, comfortable, quiet and great outlook across the lake. Away from the sulfur smell of Rotorua.
BYO toiletries but kitchen is well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing liquid and tablets for dishwasher.
Don’t let the poorly formatted slightly aggressive emails from the property manager detailing all the rules put you off. The housekeeper is very friendly and helpful.

Thus is our second stay at the property...everything was just as perfect as the first visit.
Looking forward to staying another time...

Beautiful outlook and comfy home. We enjoyed our stay. House was a bit cold but would be great in the summer months, and the bedding was very warm and cosy.

Great place to stay. Lovely quiet area with an amazing view of the lake. Within easy drive to a number of Rotorua's attractions.
Also loved that we could take our dog there, nice secure section for her to run around in out front.
Had everything we needed, great amount of spaceand the pellet fire was awesome.
Thanks for the space to stay.

We needed a place to base ourselves in Rototura but were a mixed family group. This place ticked all the boxes, something for all of us. Kids had a great time, swimming and kayaking. Plenty of outdoor space to relax and kick the ball around. Two bathrooms were a winner. Definitely coming back here.

Great place for families perfect for what we wanted right on the lake, layout of place really lovely, we really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved the holiday home. It was perfect for our family with three small children. They had enough space to play indoors and outdoors. The lakeside sunset views are incredible. It was cozy and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again. Normal and Fiona were very responsive and helpful in planning our stay.

The house was beautiful very clean and spacious with everything at your fingertips and much more.
Right on the lakes edge with stunning views of the lake and Mokoia island.
We enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate in staying there again.
Thank you very much for having us.

A very well appointed property in a great location. Great set up and ideal for couples with two separate onsuites. Highly recommended. The only suggestions we had for improvement were a larger 3 seater couch in the lounge and active recycling bin usage onsite.

Overall the house met our needs. It is quite small with the internal bedrooms not having a lot of privacy. The house was very cold but lots of oil heaters and a pellet heater. The heater in the main bedroom did not work well and did not heat the area sufficiently. The house would be ok in the summer months. The property was tidy, but I felt could have been cleaned better. The manager was not particularly friendly and quite sarcastic in some of his replies to questions. I think Norman needs a job where he doesn’t have to liaise with the public. I may have overlooked the above if he was friendly.

It was well located with a great view. A nice cottage where we appreciated the fireplace as it was very cold at that time.

We were 2 families with school-aged kids traveling around New Zealand. This house was nice and comfortable. It was relatively centrally located for Rotorua. I had several questions, and Norman answered them promptly!
4.8
Perfect for our family, beautiful views from the lounges with the property being on the lake. Close to all amenities & the best part is that we were able to bring our fur-baby to enjoy the holiday with us. Thank you we will be back :)

The house was smaller than expected but comfortable.

This place was perfect for our large group with two families.
It has a beautiful view overlooking the lake, and a great backyard. It was great to be able to take our pup with us.

Really family friendly property that was well equipped for our stay. Super clean and great communication with the property manager. Would love to come back in summer!

A brilliant family environment… plenty big enough for two couples then plus others if they show up!
We would recommend and return if we have the opportunity.
Best regards
Fiona & Bruce

Great location, easy drive to all the places we wanted to see, easy check-in.

Beautiful and clean property, absolutely gorgeous view, and very convenient location. Loved our stay here, and we will be back.

Clean and comfortable with all amenities included. Relaxing afternoons beside the lake. It offered great views from the loungeroom especially when the weather isn't ideal. We were six adults and only downfall was the bunkbeds in small rooms. This was probably to be expected but did not detract from the overall great experience.
4.8
The views from the living room/dining room made this stay amazing. From the constant bird viewing, to the amazing sunsets, this place can't be beat. Even took out he stand up paddle board a couple times. So much fun. No loud sound issues with the close proximity to the airport either. Barely heard a couple prop planes in the distance. Perfect place to stay with a full family. So much room to spread out. Will definitely rent this place again in the future.
