Our Sea La Vie is a lovely beachfront home with direct beach access, 4 bedrooms, each with its own private full bath – a rarity in Edisto oceanfront homes. There are two master bedrooms, each have a queen bed and a picture window with unobstructed, gorgeous Atlantic Ocean views. Awaken in the morning and enjoy a magnificent sunrises from the comfort of your bed together; magical.

The additional two bedrooms sleep 6 guests; one offers two double beds and the other offers a queen bed. Sea La Vie has an open floor plan with a large picture window overlooking the beach. This gorgeous home has hardwood floors throughout its beach floor plan with the living, dining, kitchen combination in the center of the house and the bedrooms and private baths on each side. All the bedrooms and main living area have ceiling fans and televisions. Off the main room are two decks, one covered deck with rocking chairs to enjoy ocean sunrises and sunsets while listening to the tranquil sounds of the waves. A sundeck gives you an area to lounge in the sun or sip a quiet morning cup of coffee on a deck bench while watching the dolphins play. This home is outfitted with a full kitchen that even gourmet cooks will enjoy.
Sea La Vie has a spacious three - four car covered carport and the driveway will easily accommodate three – four more cars. Other amenities include cable, wi-fi, DVD player, washer and dryer; microwave, toaster, and all the bedrooms have flat-screen TVs.
After enjoying a day of building sandcastles and sunbathing, shower off in your refreshing outside, private, enclosed hot/cold shower, then get ready to enjoy an oyster roast or shrimp boil on the covered, private party-patio complete with an oyster table. Or grill out the local fresh catch of the day on the charcoal grill.
Even if it should rain, you will enjoy the coziness of the romantic fireplace in the main living area. (Don't worry, no firewood needed; you just push a button and your beautiful electric fireplace will beckon you to warming relaxation.) Curl up on one of the comfortable couches and watch a favorite movie or your favorite TV show. The kids can enjoy their own TV programming in their own bedrooms – no fighting over the remote here! Experience some fun family competition with a selection of board games.

This house has a great layout, with the 4 bedrooms attached to the 4 bedrooms. The amenities are adequate and inside is kept cool and comfortable. It has close access to the beach and waterfront. The porch is our favorite place to hang out and the living space is quaint but nice. Overall a great house to stay on the beach at reasonable price.

We have stayed in several different homes that are open front on Edisto and this one has been our favorite so far! I have a short term rental myself and so I can be quite picky. Sea La Vie was clean, good quality, and fit our needs perfectly. I highly recommend this spot.

We love the house it is very family friendly. We love the 4 bedroom and 4 bath. The whole family enjoyed the games and puzzles. It is very close to the beach and was helpful with an infant. This was our 2nd time renting here and it felt like home.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Sea La Vie. The home is a wonderfully appointed, and with four bedrooms and four bathrooms the layout was perfect for the two of us (parents) and our three children and spouses and/or significant others. We loved the traditional "vibe" of the home and the updates throughout the home. The kitchen was well equipped as well. We hope to return!

Great living room to hang out in, lovely porch to watch the sunrise from, and easy beach access with rinse off stations outside. Cutest house on Edisto Beach! Very colorful, well kept, welcoming, and charming. My family members have been going on a beach trip the same week for 18 years. This has been the only place where all who went requested to come again to the same house the following year! There was enough privacy for all of us and even the dog was welcome. The family area is spacious also. Absosolutely beautiful views from both master bedrooms, the family area, and the porch area. You cannot help but relax and rewind at Sea La Vie. Highly recommended!

Our family summer vacations are in Edisto every year but this was our first time staying at Sea La Vie. We fell in love with this house immediately!!! So much that we have already booked it for next summer😊 Very clean, comfy beds, and kitchen is well-equipped. The location is amazing and beautiful.

The house has everything we needed and more! Close to the beach, enough space for 6 adults and 3 kids- we had a blast! It’s fairly centrally located and is easy to navigate around the island from there. The beds were comfortable, we didn’t run out of hot water, and plenty of space to spread out. The porch was a favorite place in early morning and evenings- watching the ocean, birds, and other beach goers. We got to see a sea turtle and go ghost crab hunting. I think we are bringing a bit of the beach home as well- will be cleaning sand for a while! Thank you so much for a great experience.

Lovely and clean home with 4 beds and 4 baths! Great covered and open deck and open concept living area. Just loved this house and will book again. It was all supplied with dishes, glasses and plates plus an ample variety of pots and pans. Good size fridge and generous pantry. If you like to cook your own meals, this is your house! Pet friendly too!

Sea La Vie is a wonderful property at a great location directly on the beach. We appreciated the four bedroom/four bathroom arrangement with the living area in the center. It worked well when our four adult children visited. The house was clean and well-maintained. Getting up each morning to have coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise made you appreciate being alive.

We had a wonderful time at Sea La Vie! The pictures don’t do it justice. The beach is literally right outside the home. We saw dolphins and sea stars on multiple occasions. There are shells everywhere. The porch is perfect for lounging. While inside, you can see the beach from the living room and two of the bedrooms. The decor is comfy, cute, and beachy. Having bathrooms for each room is so nice! The kitchen is well stocked. Folks in the area are welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back in the future. Thanks for a great week!

If you’re looking for a comfortable, cozy beach house with four bedrooms with adjoining four private baths this is the place! I’ve been renting this beach house for three years now and it is by far leaps and bounds above any other. The owner is obviously an artist because the Decour is breathtaking and so stylish. All the bedrooms are comfortable with their private baths so even with larger families you can still have your personal time. Every room has their own private TV not that you want to watch TV at the beach. I’ve seen baby turtles so please be careful if you are visiting during the turtle hatching time. This house has a great kitchen and just so many extras with a front and back porch and additional sitting area below BUT basically you’ll always want to be on the beach because you are beachfront with the most beautiful sunsets, great walking and beachcombing. I must’ve found 50 sharks teeth in addition to many unique shells. Bestest beach house ever

Very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed on clear mornings. The only drawback was connecting to the internet and we were warned about that. Overall a wonderful experience. Amazing view for porch sitting.

Our family has rented beach houses with another family ever year since 2007 (once four small boys, now "children" ranging in age from 17-20). This was our first visit to Edisto Island, and perhaps our favorite rental in a dozen years: each of the four bedrooms has its own bath and is nicely appointed (so there are no disparities between a deluxe master suite and the room the other couple's stuck with, and there is no clear hierarchy between the "best" kids' room and the others . . . which has sometimes been the case in other rentals). We enjoyed the ample, comfortable living room seating, and the open, well-equipped kitchen, and we adored the porch. The house is virtually on the beach, with a ten-second walk to the waves. We really loved this house, and we hope to be back!

We had a nice stay at Sea La Vie. The house is in a great location with beautiful views from the den, kitchen and two bedrooms. The house was clean and offered a nicely stocked kitchen. Parking was good. There is a beach access area right next to the house which was a little disappointing. It was somewhat crowded in front of the house this week, which was unexpected for May. The layout of the house was nice with all bedrooms having a bathroom. The family area was a little small and could use some updated furniture. We had issues getting up off of the sofas, especially the older people that were with us this week. Also, I tried three different mattresses and they were all in pretty bad shape. Bedding was good and ample pillows and blankets were provided. There is no screened porch area. Covered porch was nice. Management was very easy to work with during this whole process. Good instructions and directions were provided.
