Just a two minute (75 yard) walk to beautiful Kailua Beach using our private beach access! Air conditioning and Wifi included.
This lovely 'hawaiian-style' 700 square foot studio features vaulted ceilings, a large tiled bathroom and a kitchen, as well as beautiful wood flooring throughout. It has a partial ocean view with nice trade winds on the private slate lanai. On-site parking is included.
The studio is detached from the main house, separated by a large yard and located upstairs above a garage. It has a private entrance and no shared walls. Nicknamed 'The Treehouse' due to the many surrounding trees and island-style landscaping.
Walk to historical Kalapawai market, Bob's Pizza, and Island Snow Shave Ice. You will feel like you're in paradise, surrounded by tropical trees and plants of all types.

The Treehouse is in a great location, with close proximity to the beach and shops. Great jumping off point for island adventures or for just relaxing on the beach right out front. Will definitely be back!

Clean, well-designed efficiency unit above garage with windows on three sides and fans if you like living tropical, and a functional air conditioning unit if you like/need that. Very close to the beach; off a main road. Parking for one car. Owner available via messaging and pleasantly responsive. Just perfect for my trip.

This is the perfect spot.. you are steps from the beach in a quest little back street. Kalapawai Market is 100 yards away as is a little spot with great food. Neighborhood is quiet and the beach is all locals. The place provides excellent value!

Wonderful property, close to the beach. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there. One note, the Vizio entertainment system is satisfactory, however, I would have preferred to have some local Honolulu TV channels besides the Vizio System.

Our stay in Lanikai was incredible. The neighborhood, property and room were excellent. The relaxing and calm beach a stones throw away, as well as food and shopping. Our hosts were accommodating and attentive, ready to answer any question immediately. It was such a fun and romantic stay, we loved every minute and highly recommended choosing this for your next getaway.

Hard to imagine a better place to stay in a beautiful studio with a nice deck with filtered ocean view and only about 30 yards to beach access path.

10/10 will definitely stay here again next time we're on Oahu. Just a short walk to the beach. So close we could see the water every morning on the great lanai while having bfast and coffee. Communication with Maureen was great. Quiet location/residential area. Has everything you need for your stay including things for the beach. A/C is a bonus.

This adorable unit is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, even all the beach toys like chairs, ice chest, beach towels, floaty toys and boogie boards! Just bring your swimsuit and enjoy the very short walk down a private trail to a beach with the softest sand I’ve ever experienced. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. I can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay here while enjoying vacation and traveling for work. We teleworked from the property for a couple days and found the WiFi and setup to be great. The location is so close to the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. Short drive into Kailua for additional services.
Two things of note for others. The bed is on the softer side and there isn’t a dishwasher so dishes are hand washed. Whoever stayed before us did a so-so job with cleaning them, so we ended up having to rewash before using in some cases. In the scheme of things these were fairly minor and we loved staying here!

Everything that this listing says is true…Perfect location..private access right or your door for one of the top 10 beaches in the world.. close to all kinds of food.. walking distance to your morning coffee and food if you don’t want to fix yourself. You won’t go wrong with this ohana.

Best location, best price, best everything!! It felt like we were Kailua residents for a few days - private parking, private beach entrance (far enough from the public beach that we had the beach to ourselves), and the accommodations are perfect. Hosts had thought of everything for us - cooler, beach chairs, towels, even after sun aloe for when I didn’t wear enough sunscreen.
Perfect getaway for a couple, even has a private balcony with a sunrise ocean view.

It’s a small place, basically just one large room. Certainly perfect for someone traveling alone as I was. Also fine for a couple who doesn’t mind a smaller place. The location is absolutely unbeatable, being a very short walk to the sand.

The “treehouse” is amazing in every way, from the location steps away from the beach, to the beautiful aesthetic and friendly neighbors, to the ease and kindness of check-in and communication with the owner. Best place I’ve ever stayed in all of Hawaii, and I’ve been to the islands many times. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Great and easy access to the beach, in out opinion the most beautiful beach in Oahu. The treehouse has everything you may need, very clean, have a nice balcony to have your breakfast, complete kitchen, the bed is very soft to my liking but it’s ok. It’s close to a nice market (Kalapawai) 👍

We had a wonderful stay at the Tree House. The property was just as described. Communication with Maureen was great. The location of this property can't be topped. Just steps along a private path to a beautiful beach! Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from and an easy drive to many great sights to see. You won't regret booking here. This is a lovely, spacious studio that is laid out perfectly. No cramped feeling in this unit. Lots of windows facing the beach so there's delightful air flow and the soothing sound of waves breaking on the beach. We didn't have to turn on the air conditioner even once. Lanai is positioned on east side for terrific roof top dining, sunrise watching and a peak of Kailua Bay. Kitchen was well equipped with nice, new dishes and cookware. Cupboard had a nice selection of condiments, teas and spices. Bathroom was spacious with a lovely rock floor shower. The unit is nicely divided by a half wall so you don't ever feel like you're living in the bedroom or sleeping in the living area. VERY clean, not a single bug visitor during our stay. We couldn't find any garbage bags, so we called Maureen and some bags showed up on our front step within hours. The walk to the beach is REALLY only 75 yards, through an unlocked, clean walkway. Easy to race over ten minutes before classic Kailua beach sunrises without spilling your coffee. We fully intend to return to this unit on our next visit to Kailua. I can’t imagine we could have found a more perfect place in Kailua for our budget. Easy access to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever experienced, good coffee and breakfast right around the corner, walk to town, adorable cottage equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt blessed to be here and were sad to leave.
