Ratings and reviews
5.0 / 5.0
We’ve rented this house several times because we love the floor plan layout and the Oro Valley location close to Catalina State Park. The kitchen is very well equipped.
4.0 / 5.0
The house was very functional. Appliances, garage door opener, lighting, tv and such worked very well. However, the place is a bit "worn." Towel bars, tp holders are loose. Sink fixtures are old, some sink stoppers don't work. Place could use a deep cleaning. Kitchen island has bar stools which are too high and uncomfortable. An Ace Hardware bucket up on a ledge under a water stain on the ceiling was "interesting." I'm glad it didn't rain while I was there.
Kitchen was stocked well with dishes, pans, silverware, etc. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. Patio sliding door's opener/lock needs an upgrade.
Two car garage has a bunch of "stuff" in it, making it almost impossible to park 2 cars.
Neighborhood is quiet except for some barking dogs which other reviews had noted. I am a dog owner so I didn't find the barking loud or annoying (4 bassets next door).
The house is located in a nice area near the things I wanted to visit. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.
The decor is interesting. Old furniture and decorations. The tv area could use some end tables.
I felt that the price I agreed to was too high after staying there, but for reasons that can be fixed.

Loved the mgt and the location… but house needs some work and dogs on all sides of the house and it was noisy even during the night.., not restful… wished we would have paid more attention to another review that talked about the barking dogs..

Property mgr does not communicate through vrbo. Rude and hung up on me twice. My son was having surgery. Needed to check in 2 hrs early. Even a supervisor said NO. Not rented few days before. Rude. They texted me at noon next day and too late I was forced to make other arrangements. Other than that house was great and worked for us. Dog friendly is a plus. .

We had a great stay at this home! Although it was a bit warm we were able to sit outside in the beautiful back yard and enjoy the amazing views of the Catalina mountains. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners every night. We would definitely stay here again!!

This lovely home has so much going for it. Location, spaciousness, quiet (although there are some barking dogs, but I never heard them after 8:00 pm), a great floor plan, and all the conveniences of home. Highly recommend!

This property is managed by Vacasa, a property management service. Be aware that if you try and communicate with them through VRBO they will not acknowledge your communication. I needed to push the trip back by one night and because I booked it through VRBO I message them to cancel, well within the cancellation period. I never heard back and when I spoke with the property manager she said they never received the message, it's in my VRBO inbox and I did receive a confirmation message that they received it.
The house is spacious and having an office was nice because I worked remotely part of the time we were there. The beds were comfortable and the AC works very well. However, the house was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs in the corners, the patio furniture was covered in spider webs, dirty dishes in the cupboards and there was a fecal stain on the wall under the toilet paper roll in the second bathroom. I did report this to the management company and all they said was that they would speak with housekeeping. The is a little dated and run down. It definitely needs paint, the vents on the ceiling are very dirty and the showers are permanently stained so they look dirty.
The house is in a very nice neighborhood that seems very safe. It is a bit of a drive to do anything in Tucson but you're out more near the mountains and it is quiet with beautiful views. I did complain about the neighbor's dogs. They barked non stop from 5am on and it was a huge nuisance. This was taken care of and the dogs stopped barking.
Overall the house was nice and met our needs but I would probably stay away from staying in a vacasa owned property again.

Roomy and Comfortable Retreat.
This property is roomy, well laid out and very well equipped; very suitable for a few days of R & R in a quiet area. The back yard, which is also home to several quail, some humming birds and a finch family, is also quite comfortable, especially during the latter part of the day when that patio becomes shady in the day's heat. The lemon tree provided a bountiful supply of fruit in late April. Some others have commented on barking dogs in the neighborhood, and although evident, we did not find the barking to be a nuisance. We give this property a strong recommendation.

Beautiful Oro Valley Home
This is an exceptionally clean and well furnished house in Oro Valley only a couple miles from Catalina State Park. The kitchen is very well equipped and all appliances were in good working order. There’s a small park only a block away.

Second Stay
Rented this house for 3+ weeks in February 2021 and February 2022. Wonderful house in Oro Valley. Clean, Spacious, GREAT neighborhood, pet friendly, really nice useable backyard, easy access to Catalinas Mts. Oro Valley Market place, Only 14 miles from downtown Tucson.

This house is very well appointed with everything needed for a carefree stay and is, by far, the cleanest vacation home we have ever rented. The location is convenient to Catalina State Park where there is excellent hiking.
Others have mentioned the neighbor's barking dogs - the only drawback to totally peaceful enjoyment. Having lived in Mexico, we were not overly distressed, but if quiet is a concern, this may not be the place for you.

Dogs will love it too!
This was a very nice and clean home! There was a partial view of the Catalina’s from the big backyard. Right across the street is a park you can walk your dog. The home had lovely Asian Art, furniture and other items. Very safe neighborhood.

For the price it was nice.
Had all the Amenities /Clean. For the price, they should have more communication and a Live Person at the door the day of check-in to explain more about the rental!!

Nice quiet neighborhood
Excellent home with lovely backyard for dogs or kids. Well appointed for cooking and barbecuing
Easily sleeps six. My only suggestion is it needs end tables or TV trays for morning coffee or evening wine.

Very Nice Accommodations
The house was lovely. The lemon tree was loaded with huge fruit. The home’s decor was very interesting with lots of oriental touches. The kitchen had a multitude of any cooking items you would need. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice place and a park at the end of the street. We enjoyed the grill, yard, and lemon trees in the back yard! Close to everything!

It was comfortable, well equipped and a convenient location. Would prefer a King in the Master bedroom but did offer a chance to "get close" ;-)

Not a place to stay if you want to relax!
The property itself was fine, just very dated. The neighbors were awful, however. We were woken up before 7:00 am by 4 barking dogs next to us every morning. You couldn’t leave the house without the dogs going crazy & starting the other dogs in the neighborhood to start barking. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. I would not stay here again for those reasons.

Nice area, but not clean
We were given the wrong lock box code upon arrival. Thankfully staff assisted in providing the correct code. The home has all tile floor which are easy to keep clean however we found them dirty especially the master bedroom under the bed was filthy with dust and pet hair. We like to cook pots and pans were extremely limited.

Clean, comfortably furnished, good location for outdoor activities. Due to the Covid-19 surge we did not go outside the house except for outdoor activities.

Spacious, clean, well equipped home in great location!
This home exceeded our expectations. Immediately we were struck by how much larger it was than how it appeared in the pictures. It was very cleaned and well equipped with everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Nice Home!
Very nice, well maintained, tidy and clean. Kitchen equipment was a bit lacking - not one paring knife, no sauce pans, no cutting board.
All in all, comfortable beds, good baths.
