We found this property as described and as depicted in the photos, including the sprawling private beach and the assortment of water toys. We enjoyed 2 kayaks & a double kayak. The water is stunningly beautiful and safe. We swam with sea turtles, colorful starfish & live conch. The local dogs are nice, not a bother at all.
You are genuinely secluded. The house is built for enjoying the breeze and we left the windows open downstairs the whole time. We enjoyed the rustic charm of screened porch doors and shaded lounge areas. It was so quiet we could hear the wind whistling through the pines. We were a group of five sisters and we each had our own beautifully appointed bedroom.
When we arrived earlier than expected our lovely housekeeper made us feel welcomed, told us the location of the nearest grocery, and also left fresh flower arrangements in our rooms! The manager can get you a ride from the airport and a vehicle to use for a fair price, and she can also arrange for a boat to be delivered to your dock, just ask. Check with Lisa to confirm the AC is working if you rely on that for sleep. Upstairs had great AC! We bought ice at the store because ice maker was broken at the time.
There are several staff members who live on site, which made us feel safe in the midst of all that solitude, but you will really only notice them if you need them. They can expertly open a coconut for you! It’s a very large property. Thank you to our hosts and we can’t wait to return!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera and this perfect piece of paradise we called home for the week was the cherry on top. From our first question until the end of our stay the communication with Lisa was what helped make our stay so amazing. She answered all of our questions, set up excursions for us, had our rental cars waiting for us at the house after setting up transportation to the airport. The listing depicts the property exactly as it is. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. At no fault to anyone, when we arrived there was no power/water (this is something we under stood happens on the island) however, onsite employees and a neighbor made sure we had everything we needed until the power came back on. It was on within a few hours of arrival and thankfully, we didn’t loose power again.
The privacy of this home was just what we were looking for. The set up was perfect for our family of 11, bedrooms, kitchen size, hangout areas in the house and the amount of bathrooms worked beautifully! The porch…I’m not sure I can describe the porches adequately. From the amount of seating provided to the comfort of those to the views of the ocean and property, it was perfect.
I could go on and on about this piece of paradise. The owner stopped by to check on us, he was so intriguing. To understand the history of the land made us feel like we had truly stumbled upon one of the most special places in Eleuthera. Thank you Lisa, we will be back!

House was spacious, well laid out for our extended large family. Even though the up and down levels were separated space it worked well for all. Plenty of bathrooms, no dishwasher but not so bad. House is a little worn, but served us well. The location was pretty secluded and right on the bay. You have your own viewing location for turtles right along the beach. Power went off for over 24 hours. Flashlights would have been nice, generator even better. We resorted to candles. Extra matches or lighters would have helped. We worried about food spoiling in the fridge and lack of water for washing and flushing. Lots of water toys which we used a lot, but in need more paddles. Paddleboard is old and needs replacing. Owner stopped in and was nice. House could use some more light bulbs and fixtures, it’s a little dark. Overall a great place for our family get together. Lots of potcakes and some very cute puppies.

Our family vacation for 2023 was here and we were very surprised with the location of this property. The beach is just a few steps from the house, very private. The house is older but the location makes up for that. Already planning to visit next year.

Took the adult kids and grandkids to see where their granddad was born. Pleasant relaxing trip for the whole family. Met the owner and his family, invited them to join us for the birthday dinner. We enjoyed ourselves!!

We can not say enough amazing things about this property and are already planning our next visit for 2024!
The location is absolute perfection. Beautiful sandy beachfront with calm water for swimming, snorkeling and more. Just a quick walk or kayak down to feed the turtles and play on the rope swings. We had a stingray come visit each afternoon and he just gently swam around with our boys. We also loved the local dogs; Cookie & Luke were just the sweetest to have around during the day.
The house is well-stocked, clean and perfect for families. Plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Gregory was so kind and we loved learning more about the property, farm and everything that grows on the land. He even shared some Dilly fruit with the boys! Lisa was great with communication and we appreciate all of her help leading up to the trip!
Thank you for sharing this incredible property with us, we loved every single minute of our stay!

Gorgeous property and waterfront location within close proximity by boat from Harbour Island. Rural location unless you have a boat rental, but the property manager did help us to rent a boat for a day and also a car. Would definitely recommend this location for a family group! Only thing missing is a dishwasher.

Traveled to Eleuthera many times, first time staying at whale point. The property was ample for group to spread out. Gregory helped with providing fire wood for nightly bonfires next to the water. Nothing like having your feet in the water while enjoying a bonfire. The entire staff on the property were very friendly and helpful. Lisa set us up with rental cars that were dropped off and picked up at the residence to make things simple for our group.

We stayed at this property mid July Of this year. We have been to eleuthera several times and stayed many different places but this place will be the one place we will stay at every time. From the booking to the communication with Lisa to the friendliness of the owner and his family and his employees… it was just a phenomenal stay. Everything is there you though don't need to leave except for groceries or if you want to eat out but what more could you want than the calm water right at your feet… loving little pot cakes to greet you every day and hang out with you.. Turtles swimming right by you stingrays swimming right under you and starfish bigger than a car tire right off the beach. From our housekeeper to Evelyeen..Uncle Lyme to Gladys .. With whom I formed a great connection... people dont get any cooler than on this island. Having your name called out on the street in Gregorytown as Gladys drives through and stops to chat just makes you feel so much a part of the fabric of this island. Love this property and island.

We had a large group with many kids and loved our stay. Sting rays, sea turtles and star fish were found snorkeling right at the beach. When the sun was out the water was incredibly clear. The beach had some rocks, but not too much, there was plenty of sand and it was all ours! Shallow water that the kids could enjoy, kayaks and paddleboards and some snorkeling equipment were provided. The cove just a few minutes down the beach was a must visit.
We were close to many other adventures - in addition to a day or two staying only at the property we visited harbor island, took a boat tour, saw the queens baths, jumped in at the blue sapphire hole, etc. Great location.
We did all our own cooking at the house - I wish there were a dishwasher and a slow cooker, but other than that it worked out. Plan on spending a lot - compared to our home in the US the groceries were very high even at the local grocery store (15 minutes away).
Pack bug spray for mosquitos - the days when the air was still there were a lot of them.
The house was as described and worked well for us. All in all great experience!

We were more than well looked after by an incredible team of people who own, manage and oversee this gem of a beachfront rental. The property is stunning in size and diversity. Don’t miss the opportunity to have delicious and fresh Bahamian meals cooked at home by the wonderful chef Keisha, boating, snorkeling and fishing with Captain James or visiting the luxurious neighboring Harbour Island.

The home and property were absolutely beautiful with inviting water and plenty to explore from the house. "Turtle Cove" was spectacular with the rope swing and opportunities to swim with turtles all along the beach and private docks. Very private with a wonderful beach for shelling, sand castles, and lounging. The kayaks and paddle boards were fun for playing and exploring as well.
Our family of 10, ranging from eight years old to 80 really enjoyed the house. Keisha the chef prepared some amazing meals and she and her family were really enjoyable to spend some time with. Her food was better than any we found at restaurants out and more reasonable price-wise once you add in cocktails while out.
Adrien scheduled a day of adventure to Spanish Wells, swimming with the pigs, and beautiful sand bars with fun swings in the middle of the water. Captain Shaw was a highlight of the trip.
Island communications require a little patience so book the boat early and triple check your airport shuttle. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

It’s hard to summarize. Beautiful location, rough road access. Huge house and grounds. Great provisions. Best pans I’ve ever used in a vacation rental. Reverse osmosis water. So much space everywhere! Lovely beach. Plenty of kayaks. Dolphins! Turtles! Volleyball net! Our family loved it! We stayed over thanksgiving and had a lovely meal at the house. I planned to grill , but there was no gas grill. Only a very large open grill that we weren’t sure about. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful charming seclusion and very safe home. Gregory (the owner) checked in on us and was very hospitable.

The house and property are amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. House had everything we needed and lots of space for our group of 12. Lisa was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our vacation went smoothly. She arranged taxis, rental cars and gave us lots of recommendations for local restaurants. We enjoyed talking with Gregory, the owner, and Elliot gave us fresh coconut water! I highly recommend this property! Can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I have stayed at many homes all around the island of Eleuthera and were so impressed at this unique home and gorgeous property situated on Bottom Bay. The property has numerous acres, beautifully maintained with lovely tropical plantings everywhere. There are hundreds of feet on the water with beaches, a dock, lounge chairs looking straight over the water, and tables to sit and enjoy a drink or meal while watching the sun go down. There are paths all throughout the property that one can stroll along and run on exploring the spectacular, expansive grounds.
The house has lovely wood floors throughout, a good sized kitchen with bar and bar stools, two family rooms to relax in and read or watch movies. Two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with two double beds are on the same floor and the beds were very comfortable. Two full bathrooms are also on the same floor. The upstairs has a separate living space and great views of the water from the upper deck. There are three bedrooms with a full kitchen and inviting living room with lots of natural light.
We so enjoyed having the whole house to ourselves, relaxing on the porch and looking out over the water, hearing nothing but the tropical birds all around us. The water was so calm and crystal clear. We went snorkeling just steps from the house and saw turtles, beautiful tropical fish, sting rays of all sizes and colors, a small barracuda and of course bonefish swimming around the waters of beautiful Whale Point.
Lisa, the manager of the property, helped make our trip spectacular, picking us up at the airport with the car she reserved for us, making sure we had everything we needed upon our arrival, arranging an incredibly fun boat trip with snorkeling, conching and fishing and making reservations at restaurants for us. She was a wealth of information and she made our trip to Whale Point so delightful. We would return to Whale Point in a heartbeat. It is one of a kind and a hidden gem on Eleuthera and we were so fortunate to have stumbled upon this beauty!

10 family members gathered at Wonderful Whale Point Villas and everyone had the BEST vacation! Spacious, well equipped home just steps from fantastic beach! Lisa, our host, was always available to answer questions, set us up for day trips, offer helpful information. Everyone loved spotting the numerous turtles that swam by as well as a few stingrays.
We all hated to leave and hope to return this beautiful setting again. I highly recommend Whale Point villas!

Our family has been to the Bahamas many times- we finally found our perfect place. This beautiful, well kept home is surrounded by gardens of tropical plants and the staff will build you a Bon fire right on the beach or open your coconuts to enjoy fresh coconut water. Lisa is the property manager and is extremely helpful! We rented our car from her and she pointed us in the right direction for all of our needs- one afternoon we all went to Sky beach and had a great time. But this home has a special spot on earth.. Whale point has an amazing view and our kids found star fish, sea biscuits, sea cucumbers and other ocean treasures. There is a charming lagoon nearby, and a dock. We had a local chef come and treat us to a great dinner- all arranged by Lisa. The house is right on the water and has comfortable beds and furniture- the ocean breeze flows through the windows. Thankyou to Lisa, and to the Island of Eleuthra for being so warm and welcoming.
