Perfect for large gatherings!! The property had a huge yard and plenty of room for our family of 20!! The dock and small beach on the property kept young and old busy during the day and plenty of room on the deck to play to board games! Everyone had a good time and plan to return!

We had a great time staying in this location for a family reunion. There were 17 of us, and plenty of space for everyone with the main house and carriage house. We loved having a dock to moor our boat for the week, and the launch was just a couple of miles up the road. The proximity to Chelan (about 10-12 minutes drive) made it easy to grocery shop or eat out if we didn’t feel like cooking after a long day on the lake. The hot tub was nice to soak tired muscles, and the beautiful lawn space allowed for games like corn hole or playing a game of catch. The house is pet-friendly, although we didn’t bring any. We really loved the private location, as there was only one other house at the opposite end of the drive off Hwy 97.

The house and guest house are comfortable, and the kitchens are well-stocked with dishes, cooking items, etc. We did have an issue with a bad smell coming from the septic, but the property manager handled it quickly. We had a large family gathering and the house functioned well. The location is off a highway, so there is no place to go for walks, however this is a dock and a small beach area, as well as two decks and plenty of lawn space. All in all, it was a great place.

Nice big house for family of 18. We had a great time. Some general maintenance needs to be done. Only one large burner worked on main house stovetop making it difficult to cook breakfast for large family group. No griddle available either. Needed to call for enough forks at dinner first night. Dining Chairs/stools in cottage and main house need tightening. Some are dangerous. Cottage downstairs tub doesn’t drain well.

Wonderful home. Had issues with gnats and there was no dish towels but the rest of the home was wonderful.

Absolutely lovely, great size and location! We will be back...
Only a few items for owner to know upon arrival:
Garage side door unlocked, couldn't lock it
Kitchen sink light flickering
Toilets kept running up and down, had to jiggle handles. My Dad said upper toilets chain was too long..
Overall wonderful!! Thank you!!

It was over all a nice place to stay, the main living room was a perfect place for us all to hang out and in a nice location. The bathrooms and bedding were clean but we found places like the top of the fridge to be in need of a wipe and kitchen pots and pans needed to be cleaned prior to use as they would have food remnants on them probably from the last groups use.

We had a blast staying at this property. It was a very private location with many perks. We were able to play wiffle ball in the large yard, jump off the dock into the river, and most importantly spent time with each other throughout the weekend. The house is amazing, and the separate cottage allows guests to have a private area as well. The hot tub worked great. There was a private beach area and a working grill. I would recommend this house for anyone expecting a family reunion. The only downside to the property was the bugs, but with candles and spray you will be fine. Great stay with great people!!

Was so nice to have space for my husband & I and our adult kids/grandkids. We each had our own separate areas, plus the huge gathering room with lots of comfy couches and a huge game table. The area was perfect! We had our boat at the dock and another beach area.

Our Family came over to enjoy the calm waters of the Columbia River. We loved the house, detached carriage house, yard, beach, and boat dock. The house was perfect for a multi generational blended family, and slept all 9 of us and 2 dogs comfortably. Looking forward to future visits.

Great location. Close to highway but quiet inside. Large great room and decks for large groups. Access to river was great. Separate house providing two kitchens was appreciated. A bit dated but comfortable.

Wonderful vacation with our adult children (3) and grands.
Tons of room for CornbHole, Croquet & badminton. Two of our guest caught King Salmon, just delicious. Comfy beds, tons of room to enjoy a large family.
This is a VRBO winner ! We hope to come again !

DO NOT STAY HERE.
Mold in the laundry machine. Mold in the ice machine. Grill caught on fire bc it wasn't cleaned for a long time. Deck steps were so rotten someone fell through them! Exposed nails everywhere in the decking (we had 9 children in our party!) Hot tub was gross. Even worse was the stained sheet on the outdoor cabana mattress.
DON'T PLAN ON SLEEPING. Air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived. They sent someone to fix it-folks who repaired it said there wasn't even a filter & the whole unit was clogged. Whatever "management" Vacation in Chelan" does is an absolute joke. Even when the AC does work, you're not allowed to put it above 72--and in a house like this, it doesn't ever cool.
The exposed underside of the deck had been used to hide loads of trash and garbage. There's a dump pile beside the gazebo with an old dock, nasty old hot tub & pack-n-play all covered in bugs.
BESIDE A MAJOR ROAD. If you like to sleep to the sound of semi-truck air brakes all thru the night, this place is for you. There is constant loud traffic noise. CONSTANT. You might as well be vacationing beside I-5.
Only one TV through the entire 2 houses worked. There is no cable--have fun with the loads of 90s DVDs you're left to peruse.
They were unwilling to work with us when these issues were brought up--called them "minor inconveniences." With 8 adults and 9 kids--this place was gross, unsafe and ruined our vacation. I only wish I could upload all the pics to warn others!

We enjoyed our stay! We had 8 little people with us - ranging from 3 months old to 4 years old. The yard was a perfect place for them to safely play and roam.

Our group had a great stay on the river, really enjoyed the property and was perfect for us. If you've got a big group I highly recommend them!

First of all I was very impressed with how the owners responded very timely. The house is plenty big for a larger group and the extra cottage works out great for those who want to join but not always want to be a part of the chaos. Our group consisted of three families: 2 brothers, wives, and children (9 young kids). We also had our parents. My parents stayed in the extra cottage so they didn’t always have to be around all the noise with little kids. The property is very nice, but it does have some high retaining walls the were a little scary to watch the littles. There is also a private beach and dock, but they are hidden mainly out of sight from the kids, so though it were a little of a concern, the kids did good not going without an adult. The location is great, literally a 10 minute drive to Chelan. It is right on the highway so when you are outside you can hear the cars whizzing by. But you can’t really hear it when inside. There were areas that needed some TLC by the owners, but overall a good place to spend with family. I would definitely recommend this place. It is now on our list of potentially staying again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Big enough for a large family but did not feel we were right on top of each other because of the two houses. The cottage is small but comfortable. The mail house was perfect and the kitchen big enough for us to cook large family meals. We all enjoyed the outdoors and played games on the spacious lawn. thank you again for renting to us.

This was our second stay at this home. It’s perfect for our extended family. We love the open space in the kitchen and living room. The layout of the bedrooms is perfect for a large group and our kids love the bunk room. The hot tub is great and time in the hot tub was a highlight of our stay. We hope to be back again!

The house was really clean and you can see the maintenance is being done regularly. The hot tub was a little small for a house that is for so many people. Kitchen has all the essentials and more

So much room! Plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax. Beds were comfortable. Living space is really open with a great room/kitchen area that is perfect for everyone being together. We were there in the winter and it snowed - the view was beautiful with the trees and the river. Even saw an eagle perched on a tree riverside. Would be a great place to visit in the summer. Even though it's on the highway, the noise was buffered. Didn't notice it in the house. Would definitely rent again. Property manager was great about getting back to us when we had questions or a minor concern.

Since we were there for Thanksgiving, it was awesome having two kitchens!! Lovely property and plenty of parking!!!
10.0 / 10.0
The host was great and very responsive. The home was also very nice, the property outside was well taken care of.
The only two issues which we had was the hot tub taking a long time to heat up after an hour or so of use and there being dead bugs in some of the rooms. Other than that, we had an excellent time here!
10.0 / 10.0
This property was great for the size of our group. Everyone had a good time and if it was a bit warmer out we would've loved to take advantage of the large yard. The kitchen area was a great focal point of our gathering and I loved that it was open to the living room area.

Five couples in their eighties so a few more hand rails would be good. If all 7 couples were there, beds would have been tight. But we had a great visit and appreciated the beauty of the location.

12 guys spent a week playing golf in the area. House was everything we asked for. Prepared all our dinners at the house and found it very well appointed. Managers were great to work with. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location to have a family reunion, we all agreed for another year. Wonderful time lots to do rented boats and jet skis and we have lots of toys for the yard. Thanks for a beautiful house.
8.0 / 10.0
We needed a place to stay that allowed dogs and had a safe area for them to run and play. We wanted a dock and easy water access. We needed a place for 11 adults. This property delivered! The kitchen was well equipped. Anything we needed, it was a short drive into Chelan to a grocery store. The beach area in addition to the dock was nice for a paddle board and for the dogs. The biggest drawback to this no lace is the septic smell. It is not designed for larger groups. The cottage had a strong odor the whole time. You need to be mindful of water usage and on vacation with young adults, this can be challenging. The home is spacious and very nice. If you want a vacation for boating/water play and plenty of space. this is a good place to stay. On the last day,, a rattle snake showed near the beach, it is Eastern Washington after all!
