This cozy mountain home is nicely equipped to fully enjoy your stay. Clean and comfy, our home is conveniently located within 3 blocks of Mariposa 's finest dining, YARTS bus stop, and countless charming shops. Each bedroom has new beds with soft bedding for your enjoyment after a long day hiking in the Park. Our kitchen is fully equipped with place settings, cookware, utensils, microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer provided for your convenience. You and your guests will have plenty to enjoy with WIFI, Netflix, ping pong table w/ balls & paddles, board games and DVDs. Not to mention being a hop skip and jump away from all Mariposa town has to offer! Just off the ivy covered front porch, a BBQ, and bistro table along with outdoor rocking chairs await you to watch the sunset slip below the mountains, and enjoy the stars from a view like no other! Plenty of parking with pads provided for RVs or multiple vehicles. Home owners live nearby to assist with any needs that you may have. Just 30 miles from Yosemite National Park Year Round entrance, on scenic HWY 140 through the Merced river canyon, we encourage you to experience all Yosemite has to offer.

We managed to stay here during a heat wave, so we didn’t get to enjoy all the cute amenities, like the pretty porch. But it was a cute little house, with an awesome welcome basket.

Was a little hard to find the house parking when we arrived but other then that, Our stay was very cozy and peacful. Id Definitely recommend this place.

This hidden gem of a cabin is fabulous. Located within walking distance of downtown Mariposa, it is in a prime location. Clean, two bedroom, two bathroom with all the amenities you could use. Perfect for a weekend away or a trip to Yosemite!

This is an older smaller home w all the amenities needed for our trip to Yosemite. There’s a grocery store 2 min away. When we arrived in the evening, the property had not been cleaned between stays. The owner was notified and was going to send the cleaning service the next day. That never happened. We cleaned sheets and made beds on arrival and stripped beds and took out trash on departure. Then asked for a refund on the cleaning fee but never got it 👎. The other issue is that the back door to the property only has a push button lock, no bolt.

The property is nicely located in Mariposa and the property manager was responsive but unfortunately the house it’s not well maintained. The photos of the listing don’t reflect the current state of the property. Several amenities haven’t been well maintained and the house was not well cleaned. Several utensils in the kitchen were dirty and we had to wash everything before using. Overall it has very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Walk into town was easy. A bit far from Yosemity, an hour to the entrance but don’t think there are any places closer by. A lovely welcome basket and a new ping pong set. The house was VERY clean even though it’s an older home. It had everything you could need and more. We were very comfortable there.

We had a great time staying at this property! Clean, cozy, roomy, and a great location. Nice restaurants a short walk away, but you are staying on a quiet street. Check-in was super easy, hosts were great. I would stay here again!

It is challenging to find the back of the house after dark. Everything was very clean and as described in other reviews. Wish we had found the Californian downtown when we first arrived - charcuterie to go would have been great at the house with the welcome basket wine!

Very, very, clean! Has everything a family would need. The porch is inviting and nicely decorated, the area is quiet and safe. I loved it! Ive stayed in mariposa a couple times and this is my favorite from my experiences. Can't beat the distance,.we walked to the grocery store easily from the house. I was happy there!

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would! The only thing that we were a little disappointed in was the overgrowth blocking the front porch and the queen bed. The swamp cooler did a pretty good job keeping the house cool except for a few hot hours in the early afternoon. Plenty of fans were available for us to blow air through the house. Our kids absolutely loved the selection of board games and toys that were available. The house felt so homey that our four-year-old wanted to stay forever. The large leather couch was perfect for us all to sit and watch TV in the evening together. We are so thankful that this was affordable and available for a trip to Yosemite that we will never forget!

Nice 2 BR home, quiet, private, and with a big porch. Right in Mariposa so close to the park. Good internet service too. The only thing lacking was any type of clock in the home. All in all a great stay.

Tuck'd Away is so close to places to eat and shop. You can take a walk. Everything you need is at the house. Great outdoor space with places to relax in the backyard and front porch - very private and quiet and safe. We so enjoyed our stay. Mariposa is a good town to stay in and explore Yosemite Park during the day. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time exploring Yosemite for 3 days. The house was a comfortable home base for us and everything was in working order. The location was great. It’s so close to everything in Mariposa.

This home is aptly named because it is hidden- so much so that we drove right by it upon arrival! It is conveniently located close to the main street which made it easy to walk to shops & restaurants. It’s also an easy drive into Yosemite (about 45 minutes -1 hour). The home is decorated with lots of knick knacks which gives it a homey feel. If you like that cozy feeling- this house is for you. If you prefer a more sterile, streamlined hotel-like stay- this property is not for you! We took one star off only because it was a bit crowded to find space for all of our own things. I can’t believe I’m recommending adding anything but more hooks & OPEN shelves/closets would be helpful. Also, I want to note that as of July 15, the washing machine is still out of service. (Thank you to previous reviews for noting this as we’re on a long road trip & we were able to adapt our laundry plan!). The town of Mariposa is super cute! We recommend 1850 Brewing Company & Happy Burger Diner!

My family of 6 enjoyed staying at this location. Everything was very homey and welcoming. There were plenty of towels to go around for our family, and having two bathrooms is a plus! Only two things of note: 1. We wish there were clearer instructions on how to find the location. It really is quite secluded which is nice when you’re there, but we had the hardest time finding how to get there! And 2. As another reviewer stated, it gets very hot at night and I wish there were fans provided in the bedrooms. The house is cooled using a swamp cooler and unless you get it running early on in the evening you will be sweating when you get in bed! This didn’t work out too well for us since we got in late each evening we were there. However all that said, it really was a nice location to stay at and we’re glad we did it!

It was a nice place to stay. Very welcoming, clean, walking distance to good places to eat and shop. A grocery store was a very short drive way, like 4-5 blocks. The locals are friendly and helpful. Only wish the washing machine was working as we planned on using it and had packed less. But we worked around it.

Great little house near Yosemite. My only recommendation is to have some box fans in the house. It was was very warm out(90’s) and the house has no AC. We followed the steps to try and keep the house cool in the evening, but it was still very warm until about midnight-1 am when the temps dropped outside. No one in our party slept very well due to how warm it was in the house. Besides that, the house was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The house is well located and was very clean, with comfortable beds. Unfortunately the washing machine wasn’t working which was an inconvenience, since we specifically look for places to stay with washer and dryer, but the host communicated the issue to us in advance and apologized, these things happen.

Rustic get away. Walking distance to downtown Mariposa and close to restaurants/stores. Beds were very comfortable. Easy check in and check out.
