Great place to stay. Loved it!

This was a great place to stay for our annual family ski trip. The lodging accommodated our group very nicely. Plenty of space to spread out for conversation and the large dining table was wonderful for meals and games.

Great cabin! Easy process and host was great. The Family went up for a ski trip and we had lots of snow, while we were on the mountain they plowed the drive and walk.

We had 3 families stay for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. The house worked out great! A little far to drive to get to the resort but I think that is standard for Wolf Creek. Plenty of space. All of the amenities worked out great including the hot tub, grill, kitchen, etc.

It was a perfect house for our group. We had 11 dirt bike riders and 2 of our wives, a 3 year old and a 10 month. Having 4 showers was great and being able to cook meals was perfect. Note there is no whisk so gravy and scrambled eggs were a bit harder.

Disappointed
Lacked maintenance, Front screen door bent and would not close. Missing screens on some windows. Arcadia screen doors would not stay in the track. Barbecue equipment would not operate without leaking propane. Shower doors opened inward making entry difficult. Upstair mstr bdrm fan wobbled badly. Upstair bedroom TV on chest of drawers not secured and wiring a mess. Exit door on second floor hard to secure and lock.

Great place to stay for us!
Had everything we needed, plenty of space with all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Hot tub was wonderful after the long days on the slopes. Owners were very accommodating to our requests and responded promptly to our messages. Would recommend this place to anyone with a large group needing a great place to stay in Colorado!

Southfork Experience
This property worked well for our group. We had a total of 3 families. Total number was 15 people. Rooms were spaced really well and allowed us some space to unwind. Bathrooms were large and well stocked. We had an issue with the gas fireplace in the master bedroom on lower floor the first night. Turned out to be the remote. Was replaced the following morning. Had an issue with hot tub, Beau Meyer realty was very responsive and came on site and drained and recharged tub. Water was warm, but not hot. Location worked well for us as we skied at Wolf Creek during the day . Would recommend this property for large groups. As long as you can reach Carrie, you should be fine. The trash is a bit of a hassle, but understand due to abundant wildlife in area.

Need better communication
We got this property because we had 15 people and two small dogs. It was a little inconvenient when we had to take the dogs out to do their business early In the mornings. All but one of the bedrooms are on the third floor. We had a few issues with the bed in the master being replaced with a new one. Twice during our stay our bed was leaning up against the wall. A new one was scheduled to be delivered three times, but was never actually delivered.
One day, one person in our group stayed at the house for the day and he heard someone downstairs thinking it was one of us. It was, in fact, a guy coming to look at the hot tub. The hot tub was filthy so we had no intentions of using it. We were not aware that anyone would be coming to look at it, so you can imagine our friend when he seen a guy at the bottom of the stairs when he went to look.
The heat is also very confusing. We weren’t really sure how to control it. Some rooms were so warm it was difficult to sleep and some were freezing. A little sheet with instructions would be a nice addition.
Also, the shower doors in two of the bathrooms open the wrong direction. You have to open the door inward, reach around the door to turn on the water, then squeeze into the corner to shut the door. Very awkward!
I would really suggest better communication from the property manager. The house was definitely large enough for our group to stay comfortably. We also liked that we were able to bring our dogs.
If a piece of furniture doesn’t need to be replaced during your stay, a maintenance guy doesn’t show up without knowing, and you can figure out how the heat works, this would be a great property to rent for a large group.

Such a great home to stay in for college kids!
Everything was great! I wish their were more seats in the living room however, because we had 10 people and could only fit 8 around the table. The hot tub was amazing!!

Great cabin
Great spacious cabin for large groups. Cabin was clean and cozy with an awesome balcony. Beds were comfortable and hot tub felt great after playing golf all day long. My only criticism would be that the shower heads need to be replaced they had alot of calcium build up on them so you were “chasing” the water but it was manageable.

Do Not Rent From Beau Meyer
Drove 16 hours and paid 4k to arrive at a dirty house. One of the beds looked like someone just rolled out of it, the bathroom had dirty towels and full trash, and the kitchen was dirty with dishes in the sink. Having to wash sheets and clean house before we could go to bed was very frustrating. We finally got Beau on the phone and he said he would check on things and get back with us but he never did. We repeatedly called him and he repeatedly red buttoned us and sent the auto response "can I call you later'". We also sent text messages and left voicemails for Rebecca at the local rental office and NEVER heard from her either. Again, the property was filthy, the grass was high and there was trash in the yard. The sink wouldn't drain in the bathroom either- husband had to eventually take it apart and clean it. The house would be nice if it were maintained properly.

Great place, NO OHV riding from property.
We really enjoyed this house and our neighbors. We had plenty of room for our family group of 15. In past posts I noticed kitchen was not well stocked, but we had no problem cooking for all of us. Grilling on the porch was nice also. Beau Meyer Reality was easy to work with. The only down fall to this house was the fact that we found out there is no riding OHV’s from property. Even though South Fork is OHV friendly, at this current time, there is a city ordinance against OHV’s on the street in the Ponderosa edition. While we were disappointed in that aspect, we loved the house and location well enough to stay and make the best of it!

We enjoyed our stay close to town plenty of parking we had 3 trailers with ATVs. The cabin looked like the pictures posted.

Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms
Great time with all our children and grandchildren.
Bottom floor master bedroom , bathroom, indoor hot tub.
Second floor kitchen, bathroom, dining and living area.
Third floor three bedrooms, bathroom, which sleep, 13 people..
The place is rather old and I think not as clean as I like, outside was not well kept. Overall if you need a place for a large family gathering it will suffice.
High lights, kitchen, bathrooms, large dining area and multiple sleeping rooms.

South fork
Grill was NOT good! 2nd story deck needs repair and rails were too far apart for toddlers. Needs better cookware especially for large group. It was very nice but not for what we paid.

South Fork Cabin Home
This home has a central location in South Fork in a quiet neighborhood. The house has lots of room and many decks. It worked perfect for our fishing trip.

Better Than Expected
This was one of those rare occurances where something looked better in person than in the pictures! This house is huge, plenty of room to house lots of family while still giving everyone space. The hot tub was fantastic! The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked. Lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys) right outside the door. The grills worked, but could use some upkeep. Less than 30 minutes to Wolf Creek. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location with everything we needed for an outstanding family trip!
The property manager was very responsive when we had a need ( shower leak) and my niece left her Apple Watch and they were proactive in out reaching to us and asked how they can get it to us. We will be back!

Not worth the price :(
We were disappointed in this cabin. It could really use a DEEP cleaning, coffee maker was broken, had a few issues with the hot tub, bedding had not been washed, my mother got pricked with a needle in her bed at night, one upstairs bathroom didn’t lock so we couldn’t use it much, and the kitchen is not well-furnished like most places. The master bedroom is SUPER COLD at night, and we couldn’t figure out the electric stove in there. This place is really dated. We spent Christmas here so it was nice being together with family but this place needs a lot of work.

Pleasant stay
Found a sock in upstairs master bed that didn’t belong to us. No light bulbs in upstairs master bedroom ceiling fan. Need batteries in TV remotes. A lot of dog poop near outdoor stairway. Otherwise, pleasant stay and very nice cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome property and overall location. Hot tub worked! Kitchen and dining room were amazing.
The stay and property absolutely was too good to be true. Massive property with everything you need. It gets 5 stars even though I was disappointed in the lack of seclusion. The pictures we saw made it seem like very few neighbors nesr but it was not a deal breaker. We will be back next year for a much longer stay !

Beautiful Home
This was a beautiful cabin. We were really bummed that the hot tub didn't work. We tried to reach out to the number listed and no response. After long hikes and fishing we were looking forward to a nice relaxing evening but the hot tub didn't work! That's why I give a 3 star would have gave a 5 star otherwise.

Dirty
The only thing going for this property is the size. It was very difficult to get a response from the realtor. Check in was at 4pm due ti “cleaning”. When we arrived the house was dirty. There was clothes and trash under all he beds and dried pee on two of he toilet seats from previous people. The dining room table was sticky and we had to clean out the refrigerator before we could even put our own stuff in it. It had food from other vacationers and had stuff spilled inside, we had to pull out drawers and wipe the entire fridge down. Even the handles on the outside was dirty. The oven smoked because it had stuff spilled in it as well. The kitchen had 1 12 cup coffee maker, we had to buy a second one to accommodate all 15 of us who drank coffee. Also the kitchen is not accommodating to cook for 15 people, so make sure to bring your own cookware. (Casserole dishes and baking sheets) Also the hot tub did not work which was something our teenagers were looking forward to. We just felt if they make you check out by 10am and check in at 4pm the house should have been WAY cleaner than it was.

My Aspen Retreat
We had a wonderful time in the cabin. It was centrally located, close to all our fishing spots. The kids loved the hot tub! There were plenty of cooking pans. It did need a gallon size pitcher but that’s all I can think of. We loved it. Saw deer on our very first day, and there seems to be warren of rabbits living close by. The kids put out carrots but I think maybe a raccoon or possum got those. We played games and put puzzles together. It was great.

Perfect Cabin Feel
The cabin is huge and has everything you could possibly want from home. Everything is renovated in the bathrooms and kitchen which makes it look so nice with a huge living/ patio/ dining entertainment space. They had a ton of games available to play, kitchen is fully stocked in case something is forgotten, and we enjoyed having a grill and hot tub available to use. The only downfall I'd say would be the comfort in the beds and if you like to sleep in it is very bright in the morning. Of course, we were ready for an adventure every day so it didn't bother us too much. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this property!

Place was a little dirty
Due to closing of ski area and activities in area due to corona virus was time was cut short .

great location for wolf creek skiing and snowshoeing
nice place. hottub was a plus. kitchen and cooking pans and such 3.5/5. floors and walls have almost no insulation so you can hear basically everything in any room of the house, only real downside, but if everyone is on similar schedule or earplugs, etc its fine.

Perfect for large groups
The property was beautiful. The only reason I gave a 4 on cleanliness was due to the floors that did not seem clean and the stove top looked dirty, but maybe the electric stoves do? I think we left it cleaner than it was. Also, I would think that they would have cookie sheets so had to go and buy one for us to use. The main reason I am rating overall as a 4 is that the last day we had together on our family vacation, 3 guys showed up to look at the wood burning stove. We were not notified in advance and it was a wierd interruption. They could have waited til the following day since we had to check out by 10am and Check in for the next group wouldn't be until 4pm so they should've done it then. It would've been different if we were having a problem and they sent someone to fix it, but we all felt it was an uninvited interruption.
