This property has a cosy living area with fireplace. We spent a lot of time here and it was great for games and watching TV. The kitchen/dining area was adequate and had everything we needed. Meals worked out well. Be aware that the 3rd bedroom is no more than a closet, perfectly functional for 1 adult or a couple of kids with no need for privacy. But when one of my sons invited his girlfriend guess who ended up in the closet? Me :) Another thing to be aware of is that there is no WiFi at all. 2 of my kids were taking college classes over the break but we were able to manage with 5G hotspots with our cell phones. It would have saved some moments of panic to know this in advance. The location is very close to the mountain but not really walkable for skiing. We drove to the parking lot for weekday skiing but don’t forget to make a parking reservation for the weekend. Alternatively try the Mountaineer free shuttle app to get back and forth from the mountain. This place is nothing fancy but I would definitely stay here again, especially knowing what I know now.

Great location, walking distance from Olympic village. Town house was comfortable enough and very quiet.

Built to host a ski vacation. Great condition, plenty of space and friendly host. Would love to stay there again.

Roof leaks- we had the roof leak onto one of the beds for half our stay and management is not agreeing to compensate us and is trying to deny the roof leaks, even though we have pictures and six witnesses that say otherwise. Also deadbolt was broken on our arrival and we had to wait several hours to enter after they finally called locksmith to fix.

You can't tell in the photos, but I want to emphasize the closet room really is a closet with a skylight. There's about 1 foot of free space next to one side of the full bunk. It was very uncomfortable for adults to sleep on the full lower bunk. There's no space for luggage and changing clothes. I think the closet bunk beds would be more appropriate for smaller kids.
The large room had a very comfortable queen bed. The 4 kids had fun sleeping in the bunk bed room but reported hard beds and squeaky springs. Of course, they had a lot of fun just being together and their backs could handle that, but just wanted to mention it in case adults were more picky about their beds.
The location is excellent, very close to Palisades. The road is hilly, so snowy days will require chains or 4WD with good snow tires. (The 4WD of our friend's without snow tires was slipping a little when the road was icy). Also important to note is that parking is tandem, with only the inner car covered.
Unfortunately during our stay, the kitchen faucet was broken/leaking, and the blizzard didn't make it easy to send a plumber. We worked around that issue by washing dishes in the bathroom and still had a good time enjoying the Palisades ski resort.

Walking distance to the lifts is great. Parking for 1 car is perfect, 2 could be challenging.
The main issue is that the interior must be refreshed, especially the kitchen.
Equipments are old and limited.

Overall, house was what we were expecting. Beds were not that comfortable and the room on the second floor seemed like a bed they just squeezed into a closet. Fairly, clean and easy to follow instructions to get in and out. Not a lot of toilet paper and paper towels were provided so we had to go out and get our own.

Awful stay - this lodge is not ready to be rented!
This is the first time we have to leave a bad review for a stay at Tahoe. This place is not ready to be rented.
Here is a recap of our stay:
1) We arrive to a used diaper left behind in the downstairs bathroom. Nice.
2) The sink in the same WC is clogged to the point you can’t wash your hands without pausing the water flow.
3) There were three (3) glasses of wine in the cupboard, out of which 1 already had a huge crack.
4) A nightly visitor — a mouse that came to visit during our stay.
5) To top it all off, my wife forgot her gold ring, and of course it never turned up. We called the management company, who charged us $27 in order for them to « pass on the message » to the local office. Absurd.
6) Worst. Ever. Rental.
7) We hope the owner realizes what a disservice they’re doing to his place. Please either change management company or home share website.

A great ski condo
This condo comes exactly as billed. Nice space for a family or group of friends, close enough to the mountain, comfortable and clean.

Comfortable home, great value
The house is cozy and located near top recreation areas. Bunk beds provide space for a big family or group of friends. Appreciated two full bathrooms, plenty of space to hang towels, boot dryer, large entry with hooks for coats and closet for skid.

Wonderful location
What a wonderful place to stay. It was just as described and was so close to the bike trails, hiking and Squaw. We would’ve appreciated more toilet paper and beware of one of the chairs on the patio because it is broken in the center and ripped a hole in one of my family members pants. We would definitely stay here again.

Just as expected
The ONLY issue was that it was hard to lite the additional gas fireplace/heater. Once it was going the place was perfect

Cozy place with a nice view
Our family loved the place. Felt like home. There was everything you need. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, lots of toys.. Very convenient location. Definitely would stay there again.

Convenient and comfortable walking distance to Squaw
This place had everything we needed, including extra power outlets, extra heaters, and a small light we made into a night light for the kids. The location can't be beat, and the only thing missing is a hot tub to make this our favorite rental.

Nice place but management was not good.
The place is good and nice for a ski area. Our problem was we came in after skiing in the freezing cold all day to a condo that was freezing. We turned up all the base board heaters and tried to turn on the gas fire place that was supposed to help according to directions pinned on the wall. It is how you respond to a problem in management. We called after an hour of trying to mess with it and get some hot air in the condo. It was 5 degrees outside but what is the point if it takes 5 hours to get up to temp. Figured that is what the fire is for. So called up customer service. They said they can send some one over. This was at 7 pm. By 930 they finally called back after me calling 3 times and said they will not be able to make it. This happened again on our second night. Could of just ran over a heater and taken care of. Instead I will never stay again with this management service.

HVAC didnt work!
The fireplace didnt work and talked to management more than I do in my own house. Made my ski vacation about fixing HVAC instead of skiing.

Great alternative to Ski In-Out accommodation.
Close walking proximity to Olympic Village

Great Location
Comfortable condo but a little rundown. Can't beat the location though! It's just a short walk from the lifts. I'd stay there again.

Home for the Spartan
It was convieniently located across the street from the village. It had all the amenities of home, making it very easy to settle in quickly and start enjoying the trip.

So-so, but Great Location
The location for this property is it’s greatest asset. The property itself is a bit dated, but that’s not really the issue.
We arrived to clean sheets and towels, but the apartment itself looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. There was a significant amount of dust on tables and counters, and on the living room upholstery itself. When we arrived the place smelled musty and stale. There were ants in the living room and kitchen.
Overall, this is a good location and for the price I’m not sure you’ll find much better... but cleanliness could be much improved.
Also, please note, the sleeping arrangements are not quite as advertised. Be aware; the 2 bunk beds in the second bedroom have summer camp style pads for mattresses and the 3rd bedroom is actually a closet with louvered doors off the mid stairway landing. It is just big enough to fit a double/single bunk bed. Literally, you open the little door and fall into the bed.
Lastly it is important to note that the condo is not small child friendly. Lots of steps everywhere.
As long as you are aware of the particulars of the condo, it is a great location for accessing the village

Location good, condo not so much
The location of the condo was pretty good, not great, but good. Condo itself was poorly maintained and not well cleaned when we arrived. It is probably OK as a ski 'bed' for 8-10 high school or college guys, but not very nice for families or reasonably mature adults. Floors were dirty, lots of spider webs and spiders, dishes and kitchen stuff seemed dirty, couch very uncomfortable. Kitchen was small and seemed crowded with just my wife and I using it. Kitchen and bathrooms need significant upgrades. The condo seemed way over-priced for what it was. We would not return there or recommend to others. This is the third place in Tahoe we have rented this summer and it was by far the worst.

Location location location!
While the unit is slightly dated, it is clearly cared for and managed very well. Most importantly it was reasonably priced based on the location and proximity to the ski area and needed space with children. We were very satisfied based on how much we paid for it, not to mention the great deck and views!

Great value
Super convenient location; walking distance to Squa Valley village. Well maintained. Great view of mountain from deck.

Honey and comfortable
The place felt so warm and inviting. There were tons of extras, like toys, videos, games, zip-top bags, tea bags.

Great stay for ski time
Location is fantastic, super easy walk to village and lifts. Yes the condo is up a small hill, but it was not an issue, even considering we were carrying ski/board gear. Condo itself is accurately reflected in photos.

Great place.
Great place. Best our expectations.

Great location
Location is perfect. The condo is very cute, but could use some cosmetic renovations and the kitchen and bathroom cabinets could use a deep cleaning. They were very dirty. If these things were done, we would definitely be back next year.
