About this house rental

This two bedroom suite is attached to a larger home. Enter the property from your private patio at the rear of the home. The first room has king bed, cable tv and sitting area. The second bedroom has a queen bed, desk, large closet, mini fridge and Keurig and electric kettle.
Located two miles from the Atlantic Ocean and one mile from Cape Cod Bay. Enjoy a short walk to a secluded kettle pond.
Wellfleet has many art galleries, shops, beaches, boat rentals, bike paths and restaurants.
This location is in walking distance to a popular local charming restaurant, bike rentals, large convenience store and gas station as well as galleries and other popular restaurants, etc. We are a short lovely walk to a kettle pond that has limited public access and therefore very private.
As your hosts we are available for any questions or needs you may have about your stay. We have lived in this location for over 30 years and know the area well. We are on premises and prefer to keep a low profile and respect your vacation time and privacy.
If you need beach chairs, umbrella or sand toys just ask.

THe property was very comfortable and convenient to the Wellfleet Oyster Festival. The space was warm and welcoming. Neighborhood is great for walking. Very nice for a weekend getaway.

Very nice and comfortable accommodations, convenient to many of the things we enjoy in Wellfleet (biking the rail trail, strolling through downtown, grabbing dinner and ice cream at Mac's on the Pier). The Keurig was great to have for coffee and tea on a chilly morning. We had a great time!

We spent two quick nights at Joan and Tom’s place, but wish it could’ve been more. Joan is quick to answer texts and emails, and has all the information one needs. The location is excellent, and easy to find. Accommodations are lovely: very clean, with quality mattresses and bedding. Private patio is a little bonus, nice to sit outside after a day at the beach, surrounded by gorgeous flowers.

Had a fabulous time. Perfect little getaway. Everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Great for a small family like ourselves. Great communication with property managers. Tons of recommendations and extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were immaculately clean and nicely furnished with neutral tones that lent themselves to the relaxation we craved after a wonderful but busy family event. The private patio was our favorite and we lingered over our morning coffee there. Highly recommended!

Beautiful & Exactly What We Needed

This property is spotless, comfortable, and decorated perfectly for a relaxing stay with positive energy. It is located in the most convenient location, off the main road for privacy, but an easy ride to everywhere of interest and the best dining on the cape. The hosts are accommodating, friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. Great people! We can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful property that is well maintained and ideally located in Wellfleet. Close enough to Provincetown to the north and Orleans/Chatham to the south. Joan was an excellent host who allowed my wife and I our privacy while also communicating destination recommendations. Would highly recommend the property.

We were so happy we managed to get away for a couple days in this wonderful cottage! It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and so convenient to everything we wanted to visit! Owner was incredibly nice and responsive. Highly recommend!!!

Nice and cozy

We stayed for six weeks here and had a great time. Joan was super helpful and attentive to our needs and also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and places to go. The location is perfect, just an 8-minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Wellfleet and ponds. There is no kitchen and the fridge is small but we made it work!

Lovely place for small family to stay within a few minutes of Wellfleet Center. Joan provided many tips on the beaches and restaurants which was helpful. We had access to beach chairs and umbrellas -very convenient.

This place was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I chose this listing after looking for a couple of weeks. Everything mentioned was 110% accurate, the place was super clean, cozy, decorated in traditional cape style! We absolutely loved the patio when enjoying our local food! Joan’s place was the perfect home base. Super close to downtown Wellfleet and a short drive to Ptown and National Seashore beaches. The place was sparkling clean and the beds were very comfortable. If you plan to spend the day at the beach and eat dinner out it’s perfect. Joan was helpful but mostly her and her family kept to themselves to offer privacy.

Joan (host) was so friendly and helpful and kind, and so attentive with communication. Really appreciate the offer to check in a little early and out a little late if needed! Also, so accommodating when we asked to borrow coolers! Life saver! Our rooms were clean and well accommodated and comfortable and perfect for our group. Especially loved the private patio. Highly recommend!

Property owners were very nice, available if I needed anything but respected my privacy. Neighborhood very quiet and peaceful and therefore very restful. Beaches within short drive, restaurants all excellent and also short distance away. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet restful vacation.

Communication with property managers was very easy and they were very helpful in answering my questions. Gave me great directions on routes to town and to to the ponds nearby. If looking for nice and peaceful stay with beaches and some too quality seafood. Wellfleet definitely place to stay at.

This property was great for our small family. Very well-located, between town and Cahoon Hollow, and walking distance to PJs and Dyer Pond! It was also sparkling clean, and decorated w/nice, super subtle beach decor. The owner was very communicative via VRBO, but also respected our privacy. Would recommend =)

We very much enjoyed to hospitality of Joan and Tom and thank you so much for hosting our family. The apartment was sparkling clean, with two larger sleeping rooms with very comfortable beds and a roomy functional bathroom. The entire space was recently updated and we liked the interior design a lot. There was no full size kitchen, but a small fridge, a Keurig coffee machine, and a beer/wine opener ;-). The place is providing privacy and is very comfortable and quiet to sleep. We could not have stayed at a better place and will surely come back, Wellfleet is our favorite place on the Cape and we enjoyed riding the bicycle with the whole family and had beautiful weather!

Really pleasant spot! Perfect for our long weekend getaway. Loved sitting on the patio, sipping coffee from the kuerig, listening to the leaves rustle in the trees and watching the chipmunks chase each other. The rooms are decorated with lovely ocean-themed art. Beds are super comfortable, and bathroom is roomy with a great shower.

Super clean, everything was laid out perfectly, pleanty of towels and very comfy beds. It’s about a 5 min drive to the main drag in Wellfleet and 25 mins to Provincetown. The perfect spot!

Great Location in Wellfleet

This was a perfect place for my 17 year old granddaughter and me to stay while on Cape Cod. The two bedrooms allowed for privacy, and the location was only a little off route 6 so easily accessible to everyplace in Wellfleet. The place was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Towels were plentiful and the little extras like coffee, paper towels, cups and glasses made things very easy for us. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Wellfleet.
