With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this traditional cottage-style home is the perfect mid-island retreat. Situated on picturesque 2nd Avenue, right on Tybee Island's Bike path, you'll have easy access to all the island has to offer. Be sure to bring your bicycles or rent them to explore every corner of Tybee - it's the best way to see the island! And when you're ready to unwind, kick back on the front porch with a cocktail and watch as walkers, runners, and bikers pass by on the most beautiful street on Tybee. With the nearest beach access just two and a half blocks away, your beach dreams are just moments from becoming a reality!

Get ready to be swept away by the charm of Wish Upon a Starfish! As you approach this stunning cottage, the second-story front porch invites you to sit back and relax on a cozy porch swing, perfect for enjoying the gentle beach breeze. Step inside and you'll be transported to a world of warmth and comfort, with original heart pine-paneled walls and refurbished hardwood floors that exude classic coastal charm. The open dining and living area is the perfect place to unwind, with comfortable seating and a 60 inch smart TV. When it's time to share a meal with family and friends, the beautifully designed kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances is the perfect space for whipping up a delicious meal which you can share in the a dining area that seats six.

There are three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The first bedroom has a King bed and a flat-screen TV. The second guest room has two Queen Beds, to accommodate up to 4 guests and a flat-screen TV. There is a newly updated bathroom which has a beautiful vanity and a claw foot bathtub/shower for an authentic, rustic feel. The newly added third bedroom has a twin over a double bunk bed - perfect for kids. The bathroom features a custom tile walk-in shower, all-new fixtures, and an adjoining laundry area with a high-efficiency washer and dryer. Just off the kitchen, guests can sit on the back deck, and enjoy morning coffee while planning your day's events. This cottage is nicely appointed and welcomes guests with a feeling of warmth and comfort.

Head out back to enjoy the outdoor deck, which makes it easy to enjoy the wonderful Tybee Island weather year-round. On the ground level, there is a patio with a fire pit as well as a ground-level, private full bathroom with a hot and cold shower - which is shared by all guests of the property. There are 2 reserved off-street parking spaces for guest use and Wifi available.

Need more space? Wish Upon a Starfish Cottage is available to rent which will allow guests to rent the entire property (Wish Upon a Starfish, and Wish Upon a Little Starfish, the downstairs 2 bedroom apartment) and will offer guests a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as two full kitchens. Perfect space for multi-family vacations or reunions.

Comfortable beach house 3 blocks from the beach. Beautiful kitchen for preparing meals. Grocery store is a few blocks away. Pillows for beds need upgrading, we did have several roaches in bathrooms and bedrooms. I hear these are common in Georgia. We also found ants on coming into one bathroom. Washer and dryer work great. Overall enjoyable stay.

The wish upon a star theme was very thoughtful and set the stage for an overall wonderful experience. Minutes from the beach, nice back yard and kewl interior with lots of wood. Beautiful! Thank you for the accomodations.

We so enjoyed our stay at Wish Upon a Starfish. It had plenty of room and added features to make it very comfortable. The location is perfect and the host is just a txt msg away. We hope to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Starfish. It is just two blocks from the beach and walking distance to a fantastic taco place. The owners sent all needed information early and communicated all the way through the stay. The house was spacious with enough room for my family of 4. Loved the front porch and the backyard firepit.

We had a great experience. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, the fire pit was wonderful on a cool evening. We have people with special diets so needed to cook our meals. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook and bake, including a blender and crockpot! All this with a short walk to the beach.

This was such a cute place to stay if you want an authentic beach cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the bedrooms. Only a couple blocks from the beach and a short drive (25mins) to Savannah. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was cute, comfy and clean. It was perfect for our family outing with plenty of beds and two bathrooms. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and we took many walks. Coffee on the porch swing was my favorite!

This was a cute cottage and last minute booking for us and the family. We were thrilled that it offered a fenced in back yard as we were traveling with our dogs. The beach theme was super cute. However it felt a little more dated than the pictures showed. That did not stop us from enjoying the cottage and Tybee Island as a whole. The response time from the management company was very fast whenever I had questions. We would stay here again!

Lots of space and room for everyone, strong internet, amazing porch sitting & swinging! However the place could really use a deep cleaning. The porch was filthy and the kitchen can use a major update 7 deep clean, it smelled like a house built in the 70's. Don't get me wrong we had a blast but probably wouldn't stay again.

3 moms, 4 boys (10,13,13,13), 2 nights and it was the ideal getaway!! The house was perfect - not to mention it’s so damn cute you’ll want to redecorate your own when you get home. Great location - easily walkable for food and ice cream but golf cart rentals made getting to the beach much easier (and, well, they’re just fun)!! Needless to say, we had a fantastic time!

We booked this property for a few days for a quick getaway with friends and it is wonderful! The island is beautiful and has a fantastic vintage feel, and this house fits right in! We loved the character and plenty of room for everyone. Easy walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. We loved it!
