Wonderful place. Plenty of room for the fam and close to everything in town.

The location was great.
I had to do some work, and the fast internet speed greatly helped.
Great views from the top floor.
It is as a bit cold, so we did not use the deck, but it would have been fun to use.
The bushes have grown, so you can see the ocean from the deck and main floor.
The hosts/property management is great to work with. Good communication.
Overall, enioyed the stay.

First of all took a while to gain access because no code or extra set of keys worked to be able to get in when I finally got in it was pouring, wait what do I hear water dripping in the cabin I rented from you. Get up in morning walk my dog come back new code doesn’t work again. Have to wait for someone to come and figure out what is going on. He has no luck either and gives me an overriding code that worked the remainder of our stay. But the stress from not knowing if you are going to get in to the cabin next time you leave is to much. I would appreciate a refund of some kind for all we went through on this stay.

We really liked this house. It was spacious. The layout was different and fun. All our needs were met. The area is super windy: not the owner’s fault, and we were warned by the name. Would probably have stayed at a more protected place, but we enjoyed it anyway.
4.3
We loved this house’s proximity to multiple hiking areas. The house worked well for 2 people with a dog.

I don't know if it's because this home is also through Vacasa but this was the worst place we've stayed as far as communication goes.
We had a huge issue the first night not being able to heat the house. I wasn't able to talk to anyone until the next day and I'm still waiting on a refund.
Bare miminum of things provided like dishwasher pods and garbage bags.
The home was clean enough for us. Lots of dust bunnies in the corners though.
The open concept is pretty cool but there is hardly any privacy within the home if that's important to you. The view from the top floor is very pretty.

Absolutely fantastic house, easy to get to. Great view! really clean. easy access to beaches and restaurants

Great property. Great location. Will stay again.

Comfortable gem on the coast, walking distance to town and state park!

The place was cute and nice and clean. Loved the stay - will love to come back to this place!
4.3
We really liked it.
4.3
great clean quiet place just blocks from the Lifeboat guard station museum and beautiful easy hiking trails on the bluff above the ocean. As all have mentioned, there are open rooms throughout so you can hear your kids two levels down but I didn't mind this at all. I'd gladly stay here again and for longer next time.

The house was clean & comfortable & the location was perfect for us. We took several hikes, had an excellent dinner in town one night & went to live music event in town as well. Everything was nearby. Super for dog people (like us).
4.3
Good for four adults and one tiny dog. The upstairs bathroom has a very low entry door so watch your head when coming and going. It could use some better fry pans (we bought one and left it) and a tea kettle. The garage had a very bad smell that improved when we left the garage door open. All in all it worked for us!
It was more than adequate

This house was exactly what we needed for our coast vacation. Comfortable, clean, and easy to keep clean with dogs.

We loved staying at Singing Winds, the house is beautiful, well designed, and and when we called for assistance they helped us right away. The only issues was the pellet stove in the basement didn't work and there are several plugs in the kitchen that didn't work. With their assistance we found the floor heater for the basement and then we were cozy.
We loved the bathroom upstairs with the celing being all skylight. There were windows everywhere with sitting areas upstairs where we could watch the ocean. As long as you have good knees for going up and down stairs thus is the place for you! We loved it!

Biggest issue was there was pet hair was EVERYWHERE. All in the couch, on the bedspreads, on the carpet, etc..
Human hair was found in the utensils drawer.
Shower heads covered in mold. Looks like it has never been cleaned.
Ceiling fan near loft/bedroom extremely dusty. My allergies were the worst they’ve ever been during this “vacation”.
BBQ grill is completely disgusting and non-usable.
Pellet stove is not working properly and guest was freezing all night.
More than half lightbulbs out in kitchen. We had to cook with our phone flashlights.
There are a couple of steps on the staircases that have a crack forming and will definitely cause a bad injury someday.
Garage / entrance was muddy and dirty. That was our first impression of the house.
Lack of privacy as there are no doors to bedrooms.
So many more issues but I don’t want to re-live this “vacation”.
I texted the help # I was provided while there and got no response. I called when I came back home and they told me there is nothing they can do about it.
First and last time ever staying at a Vacasa house. TRASH.

Overall this property is really cool, neatly appointed, all the essentials for a pleasant stay. The only drawback for grannie here is I chose the lower bedroom because it had a stove as I easily get cold. Plus it had a jacuzzi tub. Well, neither worked. Plus the water heater was not sufficient enough for at least a full HOT bath. Fortunately the bed coverings kept me warm enough but if I put an arm out of the covers, I was cold again. Now once more - this is a cute place, well located, looks cool and all (other rooms were warm). The only other take-aways (minorly) includes 1) the long string of numbers to open the front door that took multiple attempts (in the rain); and 2) no rug outside the tub on a cold (and potentially slippery) bathroom floor. We had a good stay and appreciate the hospitality of these hosts.

This house had nice nooks to enjoy views. It is a bit quirky and lights were difficult to figure out. The kitchen was a nice size but did lack a few basics such as sryan wrap. The downstairs is probably great in the summertime, but was cold in March. Overall the house was functional with adequate space.
4.3
Really like the place and the location. Nice view from the third floor. The driveway is a little steep. And its an open concept. But would definitely stay again.
4.3
Nice house and location but the house was not cleaned very well at all I took multiple pictures upon arriving of the problematic areas. They show a jacuzzi tub in their photos but never stated it was not working. I clean houses for a living and this was not acceptable at all. Had to wear socks or slippers because the floor was grimy and after reaching out I have not got any sort of refund or solutions. They had a throw blanket that smelled like dog the couch under cushions full of dog hair. We’re from Portland and it wasn’t like we could just book somewhere else as nothing was available and port orford is a very small town. And they had took the money for the stay before we even arrived. Hopefully they step up the cleaning I would not recommend or stay here again.

The view of the ocean wasn’t to bad.

I had a hard time rating this house because it’s kind of odd. Pros: it’s in a very nice location, quiet neighborhood with good access to trails should you enjoy hiking. Port Orford is a very small town with not a lot of businesses open on a regular basis. It is about a 30 minute drive to either Bandon or Gold Beach so there are some good options for food and tourism. Port Orford has some of the most spectacular oceans views. Also, the house was comparatively inexpensive (although definitely not cheap).
Cons: the house itself was very tall and very narrow. Three stories but about half the width of a typical home. The interior stairs were tough to navigate for my family members with mobility issues as they are very narrow and steep. There is zero privacy in the house. None. I could hear my daughter sucking her thumb from 2 flights up. Neither of the two bedrooms have doors, just stairs that lead directly into either bedroom.
The best views are from the third floor but even that’s kind of weird as it appears they took a balcony and enclosed it so there’s now an odd space with hardly any room to sit in where you look at the view through tiny windows.
Maintenance on the house was pretty past due. The front door creaked really badly, the wooden planks attached to the deck were unstable, the jacuzzi tub didn’t work, the third floor exterior doorknob handle came off when we tried to open it, the BBQ was out of propane and the ignitor did not work. There is a lip at the edge of the kitchen floor that is a pretty bad tripping hazard considering the kitchen is at the top of a stairwell. The mattresses are small and feel like futons. None of us slept well.
So yeah, mixed feelings. I didn’t rate it lower because some of my feedback was specifically related to mobility issues and privacy issues which many of you may not have a problem with. Just providing feedback, do with it what you will.

The house was mostly clean but the floors and bedding had dog hair. Had to contact VACASA to have someone come and clean. They came a day late from when promised. Also, when you walk up to the front door to enter, there was no key box or any way to use the entrance code that was provided. Had to call VACASA to find out how to get in. Turns out, the lock box was not at the front entrance, but on a post next to the garage around the building corner. VERY bad on VACASA for not providing the guest with clear instructions.
4.3
This place was great to stay. Fantastic location as it is close to multiple state parks. The house was super clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable and had nice warm comforters. No complaints from our family!
4.3
Great spot to explore the coast. It is three stories and eith open concept not a ton of privacy between guests. It was clean and well managed.
4.3
The living room has no coffee or end tables, seating for 3 only and the television Is very difficult to navigate.
In the kitchen, under the slide out garbage were layers of old food droppings, disgusting.
The view is completely over exaggerated and the barbecue was not clean and in bad shape.
I also believe that there is mold or mildew in some of the throw pillows downstairs as my husband and I both developed a cough while staying there that went away a few days after we left.
4.3
Good location for seeing Port Orfordand surrounding areas.

This is a beautiful place! We stayed with two of our adult children and their spouses. It’s a very open concept and no doors to the bedrooms, so not much privacy. There’s is a beautiful big bathtub downs stairs and a shower, but no door to that room. All the toilet rooms have some sort of door and there is a toilet room on each floor (3). The beds were comfortable. We did cook a few meals while there and we did have to clean the pots and pans before we used them. We did have to call for a coffee grinder as it was missing. The outside garbage cans were very full and someone had to come and take some bags of trash out of it so there would be room. We just felt that the kitchen could have been better stocked with useful items.
The back patio off the second floor is huge with a great view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time out there.
We would stay here again.
4.3
Location and deck. View from upper floor. The tv was nice.
4.3
The town of Port Orford is cute and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. The house is 3 level house with a pretty small living room. Good views from upstairs and as expected 2 of the 3 days were super windy. All in all, a fine place but the layout of the house was not our favorite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Singing Winds in Port Orford, OR. The home was very clean, spacious and close to nearby beaches and other scenic attractions. I actually worked here a couple of days using the extremely fast WiFi while the family ventured out on nearby adventures. Our dogs loved being able to run, unleashed, on the beaches and walking through the neighborhood. If you are in search of more amenities, Bandon is a 30 minute drive north while Gold Beach is a 30 minute drive south. Overall, this was an amazing experience and we would definitely book this property again.
4.3
The home was a great retreat. There are many open stairs that need to be negotiated to go from living space to sleeping space to access. Just an alert to anyone with small children or joint issues.
Great views from high above the cliffs. The lighthouses are spectacular to see from the top floor.
Driveway needs good turnaround skills. It is short and narrow.
Loved the stay. Would come back.

Nice place in a great location. Everything was just fine except for the pellet stove, which is right next to one of the beds on the lowest level. Its fan is very noisy when on; too noisy to sleep next to. And it's either too hot or too cold, as the thermostat has only three steps.
Frankly, a pellet stove is not very suitable for a short term rental. An electric wall heater is cheap, quieter and has much better temperature control.

This house is a 3 story open stairwell home. w/the A bedroom at the top w/1/2 small bathroom. If your big like my boyfriend you won't be able to use it. or the master suite is in the the lower level w/Jacuzzi tub etc... Our dog was afraid to climb the open stairs.. we had to take our dog outside to go to the middle level because of the open stairs. Not for small children..which I'm glad I did't have!
