Reviewer Comments:
This is the perfect condo for a large family having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and being ski in/out. We had 7 adults and it worked very well for us. Since it was on the slopes we ate most all our meals in the condo. The one major complaint is that while the stove top has an exhaust hood, the fan has been removed. As a result we set off the fire/smoke detector 3 times with just normal frypan cooking on the stove. This is both an annoyance and a safety hazard that needs to be fixed. The only other issue is the parking situation - only one car per unit with extra parking some ways away. Other than that our stay was perfect, property management was very responsive to our few requests and we definitely would return to this unit.

Lone Eagle is the best and only true ski in/out at Keystone. Location couldn't be better. Property was nice and well kept. Elevator worked entire trip March/April 2024. 3052 had some minor cosmetic issues but fine. Unit 3052 is in desperate need of more hooks in everyone room/wall! Oven door was sketch. Overall would stay there again.

The condo and location were great!
However, we were on the 5th floor and there were constant elevator issues. There were several days when the elevator was completely not working for hours which caused major inconveniences to my family. My husband had to leave early one morning for a flight and had to carry all his luggage down 5 flights of stairs.
The next day, while the elevator was working we thought it would be a good time to take the trash out, well we got stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes until the fire department came to open the doors. My mother was with us and she recently had hip surgery, so she had to limit her trips going up and down stairs.
We paid way too much for it to break and then we actually were stuck in it. The company should give us a discount for all the inconveniences and worry this caused us.

First of all 10am is way to early for check out time, even the hotels have a later check out time. Our ski locker was broken and would not lock so we couldn't leave our belongings in it. I called and spoke to Devon but never heard back. Not helpful at all. The condo itself is run down needs to be updated. The furniture is in bad shape ( table, tv cabinet ) I don't thinkwe will be staying here again.

This beautiful condo was just as described. It had all of the necessities that our family needed for our week away in the mountains. The condo was very clean and taken care of. We had no issues at all with the off site check in. The directions to obtain our room keys was super easy. We loved the jacuzzi tubs and having 3 bathrooms. The personal washer and dryer in the condo are a must for our family and they worked great! The only complaint we had was the elevators went down for 2 days that we were at Lone Eagle and that isn't on the condo owers at all. They did get them up and running before we had to lug our suitcases to the garage to load up to come home. The underground parking is awesome! Would definitely recommend Lone Eagle 3052!

We had a wonderful relaxing time! The condo was exactly as described prior to booking. It was spacious, and everyone had their own space. We did have to climb 5 flights of stairs for two days if we left due to the elevator being out, but we managed! If we were to go in the winter this is the closest location to the ski lift. Literally walked to the village in less than 10 minutes! Totally would stay here again!

Perfect location, beautiful home, everything we needed for a lovely family trip to Summit County. You can only park 1 car, but we got around that by using the public lot during the day and paying for extra parking at another condo complex which we had to bike to or be dropped off at, which was an easy thing to do for us.

This was our second time staying at Lone Eagle. Last year we were one floor down, directly under 3052. The vaulted ceilings added to the over feel of the space. The reasons that I gave 4 stars on the question about the property’s general condition are: 1) The range light and fan shorted out at the beginning of our stay. We called SCMR and they sent a repair man. After two attempts he had the light working but not the fan. I think he was waiting for a part but we never heard from him after that. 2) The furniture is in rough shape. The wood tables are scratched and dented and the cloth couches are dirty. Also, the throw pillows and blankets are very worn out (missing buttons, holes, etc.) In some ways it made our stay more relaxing because we didn’t have to be uptight about ruining anything. 3) The two balconies have pigeons nesting above them. They have created quite a mess of poop. We tried sweeping it but that didn’t help. It made using the balconies undesirable. We were a little surprised that SCMR hadn’t taken care of this before our arrival. All this being said, none of it was a game changer and we would definitely stay again.

It is the location of this condo that makes it epic, along with the fact it has 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom....a huge win!! The HUGE downside is the condo is on the 5th floor and there basically is NO ELEVATOR! Review after review for months and months and months mentions this broken elevator. A couple weeks prior to arriving, we were informed it was not working. It appears it may never be fixed, at least anytime soon (within the next year!) 5 flights of stairs in a high-altitude climate, hauling ski gear, groceries, etc., is definitely NOT ideal. After a while it gets very old! Even if and when it does get fixed, one elevator for a huge building like that is not enough. This is no fault of the condo owners, but the builder, but still, you need to prepare that the ELEVATOR WILL NOT BE WORKING AT ALL THE ENTIRE STAY! If you are not prepared to get in a great workout every day, book on a much lower floor!!

Great unit and clean, but building issues. A homeowner said the building was not designed for so much traffic/use. Hence the issues with hot water, heat , and elevator. Requested a portable heater and 2 were promptly delivered, but be ready for these issues that happen more than you would expect.

The place was beautiful and the location ideal. When we arrived, we were informed the elevator did not work - this unit is on the 5th floor. It took multiple trips up and down stairs carrying our 4 days of bags, ski equipment and groceries to get settled in. The management company did not inform us prior to showing up the the elevators were down - apparently they had been down for many days prior. Additionally there was a heater/boiler problem in the building and the unit was freezing the first night - the type of cold where you wear a hat so your ears don't freeze. It was a rough night. The heat problem was fixed the next day, but the entire time we were there the elevator was down, meaning many trips up and down stairs every day.
We would recommend this unit, it is beautiful and the ski-in ski-out location can't be beat. I suggest you ask a few questions to the management company before you arrive to make sure elevators, heat, pool/hot tub are working.

The condo is really beautiful!
We enjoyed our time there with our adult kids.
The elevator was out of order, which made it challenging to get to the 5th floor with all of our stuff, but the view is wonderful!
The pool and hot tub were a bonus.
Would recommend this property and would like to go back.

It was a good location and the pictures online looked like it was a modern up to date condo. When we got there it looked similar to the pictures, although smaller, once we looked around the furniture was old and had scrapes and Knicks all over it. The oven was very dirty, dining room table and counters had smudges and they were dirty as well. Two doors to the balcony did not lock and I had younger kids so that was a big worry for us, I called to see if they could repair the door, they came in and could not fine the problem. It was very obvious that the doors did not lock and that one lock was coming completely off the door. One window could not be opened.Overall it did not meet our satisfaction and I would not rent this property again. It was a good location, but we were not comfortable staying there.

The incredible ski in/ski out location made our trip so easy. Storing our gear downstairs and walking out to the slopes was so convenient and made the trip stress-free. Different skiers at different levels could come and go as they please, pop in for lunch, a drink, drop clothes or even take a swim/hot tub and then head back out to the slopes. There was zero schlepping of gear or commitments and it was probably the best time I've had skiing in ages. The view was of the ski hill and was stunning. Pool was just below our balcony so we could keep an eye on kids. Walking into the village was easy and we must have missed the bulk of Spring Break because it was not crowded, no lift lines the whole time. Place was ski-lodge decor and roomy. Will definitely book again. The convenience was worth every extra penny.

Positives - location to the ski mountain. Ski lockers with boot dryers. Heated pool and hot tub for kids. Condo layout and finishes. View of the mountain from all rooms. Great natural light for those with families that intend to spend time in the condo. Stocked kitchen for cooking.
Negatives - check in is a couple miles from the condo, terrible if you want to ski that day. Condo is rated for 10-12 guests, but only one parking spot and if more than one car it is up to you to figure out what to do. Only one elevator (extremely slow) and it broke. Another condo owner said this happens frequently. Had to carry everything down five flights of stairs. The TV in living room has no working HDMI ports. Getting into river run requires walking over snow bridge (in early April this was 3” of slush (be sure to bring boots)

We have stayed in this location before and had a wonderful experience. This particular year, we had a few issues including some broken items in the condo and the only working elevator was broken down (had to walk up 5 flights of stairs on a regular basis for about a week). I know they were doing their best to rectify the situation, but would have expected some kind of concession or allowance for the inconvenience.

Sweet but too short
The place was very nice. Walked in and it was 90 degrees, but that was random. The beds were not very comfortable, but good enough.
The main issue was that we only stayed one day which isn’t a day. I would not recommend it for only one night. Check in is at 4 and checkout is at 10, so that doesn’t leave much time to utilize the ski-in/ ski-out. That said, I will definitely be coming back for a longer period of time to maximize its location and convenience ; it’s literally at the base of the gondola lift.

Perfect spot for ski in ski out
Fifth floor unit with plenty of room. Two master bedrooms almost identical so it’s great for two small families. Had everything we needed for the most part; could’ve used some salt and pepper(usually present in every condo I’ve stayed in) and maybe a plastic spatula but that’s just me. Elevator in the complex seems slower than dirt and since it is a fifth floor unit, dragging all of your gear up or down the stairs is not really an option. Unless you are just a go getter that way and rock on I say. The views from the balconies are great, with a view to the slopes or straight down to the pool area below. Hot tub and pool are nice and the hot tub is probably the hottest I’ve been in in Keystone. A++.
Since the room faces the slopes, there is a lot of light that comes in the bedroom windows at night when night skiing is active and when the snow-cats are active grooming the snow. So if you like to sleep when it’s really dark, you may want to bring a sleep mask.
Each master bath has a jetted tub with excellent hot water. So if you prefer not to join strangers in the common hot tub this will do the trick nicely. It was a little tight for me(I’m 6’3”) but it sure was nice to have all to my self.
Gas stove top in the kitchen!!! What a bonus. I hate cooking on electric cook tops and seeing a gas cook top was such a bonus to me. We cook quite a few meals while we are vacationing and we did appreciate this feature. Nicely equipped kitchen ( minus that plastic spatula) with everything you need to prepare meals for your stay. Two microwave ovens, electric wall oven and two coffee makers were present, a beverage center, and a wine rack as well. Dishwasher in the island was very convenient and it worked well, but it seemed a bit fragile so be gentle with it.
All said a very pleasant stay in a very nice condo. It’s a bit on the higher end of the price range for other condos you could stay at in Keystone, but in my opinion, with its location to the slopes, 3 bedrooms and all the space that comes with it… it’s worth it. I hope to stay in this unit again next season.

Hit & Miss & Miss & Miss
Great ski in/out location. Large rooms makes it very comfortable for families. Covid is not it’s friend. This place was filthy! Trash under beds and other furniture. Apple core on the dining table One shower didn’t work but maintenance was quick to fix. Need some overall maintenance love. Parking is horrendous. Very limited space for large SUVs which everyone had. Only one elevator which was out of order when trying to check out. But a great cardio workout carrying everything down from the top floor. Owner needs a new management company for what was once a great property.

Lovely property
The condo was very spacious and accommodated our family of 5 well. It was well appointed, clean and in a great location. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star was the parking. They allowed only one parking space for a 3 bedroom. We had two cars as we were coming from different locations to get there, so we had to park one of the cars offsite. Other than that, it was a wonderful property.

Frustrating experience with this rental. Day one the elevator was broken and we were on the 5th floor. We have three small kids and one can imagine the experience having to go up and down dove flights of stairs with kids, luggage, groceries...... not fun to say the least. This continued for three days out of our 7 day trip. It sure seemed like all the families with kids were on the 5th floor. Our condo faced the condo pool so unfortunately we heard gatherings until late into the night. The condo itself needs some updates and work. Overall we will not be staying here again. We love river run village and had a better experience had one of the other rentals.

Our vacation stay at the apartment 3052 was marvelous, it was so not only due to the very well equipped and clean property but also due to the many a ctivities in Keystone sand around! We hiked to the top of the gondola station and back, biked many trails. Our stay was filled with fishing at lake Dillon and in the nearby streams. We went to Brackenridge with our grandkids and had a blast with many activities at the Peak 8. The only inconvenience during our stay was the elevator not working for two different days during our stay as well as the gas in the grill was not available.

We have stayed in Summit County many summers, probably 20 if I had to guess, and this is the nicest unit we have stayed in. Perfect for 6 adults. Nice building and close to everything in River Run.

Great location
We were excited to stay in this condo as we were looking forward to ski-in/out location. The biggest disappointment was this property was listed having heated pool and hot tub. I do understand COVID restrictions, but we were NEVER informed that you had to "reserve" a 45 minute time slot in order to use the pool/hot tub. Once we arrived, we learned this from the notices placed on gate. When we went to reserve a time slot, there were none available. The pool/hot tub was empty 90% of the time. Apparently, other tenants/guest made reservations and never used them. I feel the property mgmt should have informed us in advance so we could have reserved a time slot. They blamed the HOA but I feel the property mgmt could have provided us with the information PRIOR to us checking in. If guests reserve a time slot and don't use it, this is unfortunate to others that would have enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy.
Microwave was broken, property mgmt brought a "loaner" for us to use
Furniture extremely dusty and couches had long hair. They could have vacuumed and cleaned better.
Hair dryer in master bath was dangerous... it was "melting" and had a hole in the side where I burned my thumb before realizing the hazzard
I do not think we will return to this property~ Regards
