Simple cabin on the edge of the timber about 8 mins from the main lodge. Clean, well appointed, and cozy. Enjoyed our stay in Big Sky!

We had a wonderful vacation at Rustic Ridge 7. Cabin was well equipped and perfect for our family of 4. Great location with ski/in and ski/out and perfect spot for two little boys getting out to play in the snow, sled and make snowmen. Wonderful memories. We hope to return.

Great Location for easy ski in and ski out. The fireplace fan was a little loud was my only suggestion to improve our experience.

Exactly what we were looking for for our stay in Montana!

Great ski in/out. Very convenient. Nicely appointed. Perfect for a family or two couples.

This was our second stay at Rustic Ridge 7, the previous visit being 8 years ago. Love the location and the setting. However, the beds were terrible. The unit is tired and in serious need of an update. Especially given the price point. Very disappointing to come back after a long day on the mountain and have a rough night of sleep on a mattress not worthy of an old motel.

This was just what we were looking for! From the views to the decor to the supplies (laundry, cookware, grill, hot tub etc!) we had everything we needed. I was so surprised how big the cabin was on the inside, as looking from the outside it can be deceiving. This is also my second time booking at cowboy heaven cabins, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in big sky!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Cowboy Heaven, Rustic Ridge 7. The folks at Big Sky Vacation Rentals were very responsive when we needed some support and the cabin was clean when we arrived. We had a good stay and the cabin was a solid fit for our needs.

Great time!
This is a great property! Just note that it has no view. Otherwise, it’s absolutely fantastic.

This place had it all for a perfect ski weekend: Hot tub, grill, and ski right down to the lifts from the porch. The place had plenty of beds with a pull-out couch and bunk beds. I would definitely recommend it to any group.

Nice
Great location - we will be back next ski season! This is a ski-out location that we were able to ski into everyday we were there (if the parking area isn’t snow covered you would have to walk across about 50’ of pavement and past one other cabin). Nice place - everything was great!

This little cabin is extremely well laid out, with plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens.) They supplied everything we could possibly need, the furniture is all super comfy, the hot tub felt fantastic after a day of skiing...all in all, this place is wonderful. The ski-in/ski out was great and easy to navigate. Highly recommend this cute cabin!

Great Location
It is hard with COVID but there were some maintenance issues. It would be great if they can figure out something with Moonlight Basin Lodge so there is access to restaurant and apre options.

Ski Trip
Great ski in ski out location! Cabin was nice and cozy. Jacuzzi was perfect to soak in after a day on the slopes. Perfect cabin for a family. However they need a spatula to flip pancakes :)

Great Place!
The cabin was great! What a great place to meet our daughter! She is from California and we are from Michigan and we used this spot as a half way point to meet! We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!!

Very nice property
Property was perfect for our needs. The hot tub may not be hot for your use the first night, but they make that well known in advance. The fireplace was not working, but they added space heaters to offset the fireplace. Ski in ski out was pretty easy. Enjoyable.

Beautiful feel for the Christmas holiday!
We tried to get into the cabin early, property manager was great about the idea, but the execution took a little bit of time and extra costs communication.

Perfect for a family to ski in and ski out

Great cabin in the mountains!
We had a great time staying here ~ the cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable! Staff was excellent in answering any questions and made checking in/out a breeze! We enjoyed stepping out of the cabin and using the hot tub in the evenings. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

The cabin was great! How the property management team handled a power outage not so great
The Moonlight area in Big Sky experience a power outage the last full day of our stay. My wife was in the cabin doing work and called the property management folks and left a message. Never got a call back. I was on the mountain skiing and found out talking to ski patrol that an underground electrical line was broke during some construction. I made my way back to the cabin and we decided to packup and leave since we had no word on how long the outage was expected to be. Just as we were leaving the power come on . I called the property management folks and finally got a rep. I asked for a refund for the night (or at least partial) and the person said they would get back to me after talking to management. Never did get a call. We decided to leave since all of stuff was packed up and didn’t feel like doing unloading an then loading again the next morning. The bottom line was lack of responsiveness and follow through by the property management folks on multiple messages and requests for information and a refund.

Great cabin
This cabin was almost perfect. It worked really well for our family of 6. We had the 4 girls in the 2 sets of bunkbeds. Used the kitchen, the grill, and the jacuzzi every night. The only thing that could have been better was if this was a ski in, ski out, instead of just a ski out. We looked for sleds but couldn't find any - that would have been great to use after the lifts closed for the day. I thought the local grocer would have some for sale but no dice.
4.6
Great cabin on a great mountain
Awesome cabin, exactly as described in the listing. Well stocked on all household goods. The only caveat was the cabin wasn't exactly "ski-in" as advertised, as the access required taking gear off and walking across the street. One can definitely "ski-out" though. Would definitely stay again.
4.6
Great cabin
Great cabin for a good price. Cabin easily slept 5 grown men. Kitchen was was well equipped. We cooked breakfast a dinner everyday. Good grill. Cabin is a true ski out. Ski in requires a short 100ft walk across culdesac. The road was plowed regularly but a 4x4 vehicle is very useful.
4.6
Cabin great; cleaning and support not so good
The cabin was very charming and cute. It is inaccessible without a car rental and the night we came in the roads were not plowed and it was difficult to get to the cabin and to the door with our luggage. It is a ski-in, ski-out cabin but has no place for skis, no snow shovel, etc. Those things were okay, but the bathrooms both had orange gunk growing on the shower curtain and plastic about a foot up. There were cobwebs dancing on the ceiling and dusting on floorboards had not been done for a very very long time. The coffee maker was broken, there were no coffee filters (or coffee). The property management book stated they had sent us a list of what would be there; they had not. I think this is a very good property, but not well managed. I would not be writing this had I received a helpful response when I asked about snow shovel, coffeemaker, etc. The owners should know that the care is not up to par for the price.
4.6
Cozy Cabin
This cabin is very cozy and was very clean. It is a ski out, but you have to walk a short distance to ski in. I agree with previous review comments that it would be nice if a path was cleared to the cabin as if the snow is deep it could be a bit more challenging. It was great that it was stocked with all of the basic amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. It had nice shampoo and soap in the bathrooms as well. The hot tub was was very nice and clean and we enjoyed daily visits from the red fox while sitting in the hot tub. The bunk room was great for kids. It does lack storage in this room. The cabin comfortably sleeps 6, but could accommodate 8 if you all like to be cozy. It is nice that it has a keyless entry. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of cups or silverware. There are nice views from the cabin and the back deck is quaint. The management company was very nice and helpful in the booking process and upon check in. The check in process is very easy as well. We would definitely return to this cabin.
4.6
Nice Cabin
The cabin and view was very nice! It had everything in that was advertised. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because we had no communication on where to go with our trash, the griddle was broken, and we had to re wash the dishes prior to use. for a 195.00 cleaning fee we felt the dishes should've been clean. With all that being said, we would return.

Great Cabin in a Spectacular Location
I was anticipating that the pictures on the website over exaggerated the cabin, but I was wrong. The unit is a perfect size for 4-6 people (6 max, realistically) and is located in an unbelievable location on the mountain. Ski out access is 48 inches from the front door - literally the first step off the porch - and the views of the resort and the valley are amazing. Ski in requires a hike of about 100 feet if the snow cover is low, otherwise it appears that you could ski in if the mountain has a decent base. Kirsten and her team were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and recommended some great spots to visit around Big Sky. Went with 5 other guys for our annual ski week and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for - most definitely would book this same property again!

Nice Cabin
The cabin is exactly as advertised and met all of our expectations. We've been all over the country and Big Sky is our favorite place to ski.
4.6
Cozy cabin in the mountains!
Really a great spot - has a genuine mountain cabin feel because it is the real thing! Technically is not "ski in" but is definitely "ski out". You'll have to remove your gear and walk to the cabin to ski in (property should clear a path from ski run to road). Bunk room needs more storage / place to hang clothes but that's just a small inconvenience. Keep in mind, if it's snowy there's no garage however we just LOVED staying here.

Super clean. Awesome view of mountains and lots of wildlife. Quiet oasis. Great place to relax or go on an adventure. The hot tub was a huge bonus at the end of every day. We vacationed in August, and can't wait to return for skiing!

Great Cabin
The cabin was perfect for my family of 5 (3 small kids). The cabin was very clean and had every amenity that you could ask for. The staff was very helpful and overall I was very pleased.

Loved every minute!
Our family of 4 could not have had a better vacation. The cabin was cozy but enough room for 2 tweens and mom and dad. It was well stocked and the customer service was so pleasant. Lovely location and accessible by skis to lifts and lodge and dining. We'll be back!
