The place and location was awesome. Cozy home, family oriented and amazing view. The homeowners were so helpful and helped make this trip one to remember. I have nothing but great things to say about and everything. Thank you so much for this experience and we will definitely be back!

The property was as advertised and pictures reflective of current status. The location was great and accessible to several beaches, and easy drives to several towns and activities. The patio with a view of the lake was great. I would recommend this house and would stay there again if we're in the area.

House owners very accommodating to request and respond in a timely manner. Very responsive to any questions, requests and concerns. We had a great time with easy check in, extended time to check out. Wonderful location and the ways things are labeled in order to find kitchen equipment and utensils was great help to keep everything nice and organized.

Friends trip to Tahoe
We had a nice stay with a few families. The property was perfectly clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The decor and furniture was fairly dated but all functional. The beds were uncomfortable, folks may want to bring a bed topper.

Perfect for 3-generation family gathering
Each year, we celebrate our twin grandchildren's birthdays by taking a trip. The first year was to Honolulu, HI, the second year was to Glenbrook, NV, and this year we came to Tahoe City, CA. This home was perfect for our family--two sets of grandparents, two families with three-year-old children. We spent all five days enjoying the house and experiencing rain, snow, and sunshine. It was the first snow for the twins; we played in the snow, built a snowman, and sled down the driveway. The kitchen, great room, and dining area provided ample space for everyone to spread out, but still be in each other's view, which made keeping an eye on the children easy to do. Thank you for the firewood; came in handy when we were snowed in!
Definitely will recommend this house, and return here in the future. Great accommodations!

Great home, location and service!
This house was the perfect setup for our family to gather for a little pre-Christmas snow play. There was ample room for everyone and the fire was very cozy. Great access to the beach! The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. We hope to rent here again!

Blizzard Proof
This was a wonderful home for 14 people. There are a total of three bedrooms in the home and two private bedrooms outside the home with full bathrooms. Stayed three nights and enjoyed every part of the house. Wives enjoyed the two refrigerators to keep extra food and big dining table with extra chairs. We took advantage of the small private beach walking distance from the home and access to stores down the street with a vehicle. There was a blizzard warning in effect during our stay and Diana was happy to keep her home open another night until the blizzard passed. I look forward to stay again next year, preferably without the blizzard.

Wonderful house and an even amazing host
The house is perfect for a large family gathering. We were 15 guests and it was comfortable and offered everyone adequate privacy. The great room and loft overlooking it was our favorite part of the house.
Most importantly, the host (Diane) was amazing. She was gracious to allow a late checkout and even made arrangements for us to return to the house and stay an extra night in case the snow storm prevented us from leaving Tahoe! We will most definitely stay at this property the next time we are in Tahoe. Highly recommended to all!

Great cozy space with plenty of group hangout space and access to private beach
We had a great stay last weekend. Two fridges, open kitchen/dining/living floor plan made hanging out and watching kids easy.
Access to private beach area down the road walking distance was a special treat as well. You can see the lake from the house which is nice.
Decor is a bit confusing (multiple personalities reflecting we guessed different family members), but amenities were all there and we had a comfortable stay overall. The two “lockout units” offer great privacy, though the smaller one and throughout the house in general not good sound proofing against crying babies and loud kids :)
PS The bunk room is tiny!
Also watch out for sharp nails underneath the coffee table in the living room if you’ve got crawling babies**
Overall we had a great time. Blessed with 3” fresh snowfall too :)

Fantastic Stay in Dollar Point
I had a wonderful time in Dollar Point. Our host was incredibly accommodating and the home was perfect for our group.

Excellent house.
This house worked out great for our group of 14. I was concerned beforehand that the common areas might not be large enough to handle a group that big, especially the kitchen, but it was no problem. I was pleased to discover that there were two separate refrigerators to handle all the food. For dining, we used the table plus the chairs at the counter. The house was very clean and in good repair. I appreciated that the kitchen was very well organized, and stocked with everything you'll need in the way of cooking tools, plates, glassware, mugs, etc.. The bunk room upstairs is small, so maybe best for children, although we had teens in there.

A Real Gem in Dollar Point
This is an excellent place to stay at in Lake Tahoe. Very convenient to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, the Lake itself and amenities of the community association.
Also the house itself is great for large family gatherings... We celebrated my mom's 65th birthday here and it was perfect. My sister and I with a total of 4 young kids stayed upstairs where there are three bedrooms (one is a perfect kids room with bunkbeds) and a big bathroom, while my other sister stayed in one of the attached but private suites. This allowed her and her partner to be able to get away from the noise of 4 kids very easily. There was another, similar unit that we didn't use, but which next time would be perfect for my brother & his wife for the same reason - privacy!
My mom stayed in the bedroom on the main floor - which she loved b/c she was in the action with the grandkids in the open concept kitchen / living / dining room (with huge family size dining table) that opened up onto the BIG, BEAUTIFUL deck which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Owners were friendly, communicative and accessible and have the house stocked with everything a person could need.
House was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Instructions for departure were straightforward.
Added bonus - great "bear" theme throughout (although my 20 month old niece was very suspicious of the 5' tall bear by the fireplace)!
We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for helping us give my mom her "best birthday, ever!"

Lewis Family
We spent a wonderful week with family in this home. Two words, best describe it - comfortable and convenient. Since we had six children under the age of 8, the convenience of walking to the lake was very important. The private beach was not crowded and we appreciated the chairs, umbrellas, restrooms, and picnic area available to us. The kids loved exploring among the rocks and fishing for crawdads off the pier. The home itself was well-stocked with everything we needed. The large deck was a favorite for meal times and the living area was large enough for us all to gather in the evening. A grocery store is conveniently located nearby. We enjoyed walking through Tahoe City and making the short drive to Squaw Valley. The property managers are easy to work with. We will definitely keep this property in mind for a future visit.

Perfect for a large group!
This home was a perfect choice for our week long family reunion and vacation! The location was great, right across the street from the lake and just a 5-minute walk to the private beach/pier of Dollar Point (Tahoe City). The home comes with access to Dollar Point amenities such as the private beach, pool, tennis courts, etc. The home is perfect for multi-families with a large 4 bedroom house (including a room with 4 bunk beds - perfect for kids!) and 2 additional "apartments" (bedroom/bathroom) with separate entrances for those who want extra privacy. The house is well stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies and even a bedrail for the top bunk. The deck is huge and includes lake views!
The property management of this rental gives A+ service. In a family emergency, they were so gracious and worked with us to make our trip perfect. We really enjoyed all aspects of this house and plan to return in the future!

Great Place for large families
We stayed here over New Years and had a great time. The home was in excellent condition. There was lots of room for our large group to spread out, and the large living/dining area let us all hang out together without being cramped. The location is great, with excellent lake views, access to the beach, and a short trip to North Star, Squaw, and Alpine. Would definitely go back.

Outstanding rental near Tahoe City!
This home far exceeded our expectations! It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and spacious; the kitchen was very well stocked. The living room was huge, and the loft gave the home a big, open feel. The fireplace was wonderful on a cold winter night.
We loved the separate entry aspect of two of the bed/bath areas - there were several of us families with young children, and my in-laws had their own quieter space to go back to at the end of the night. It would also be great for families and singles staying together - the singles could be separate from noisy little ones!
The home was close to Northstar, Squaw, and Alpine, and downtown Tahoe City was just a few minutes away. It was a 2-3 minute walk down to the private beach area, which was so lovely, especially at sunset.
Diana, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful. We absolutely would love to stay here again - maybe in the summer, to maximize access to the pool and tennis! I would recommend this home to anyone!

Wonderful place close to the lake
This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway for a large family or group. It's clean, well maintained, and has a nice balcony where you can see the lake. The private beach and tennis courts are a short walk away. Comfortable beds, nice grill, spacious kitchen, and a fun stuffed bear in the living room. HIghly recommended.

Dollar Point Home #262324
Our extended family spent a week in this lovely, clean and well maintained home in Dollar Point. It was very spacious and we never felt that it was crowded, even when we were all together in the Living Room. The 2 side apartments worked well, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and everything you would have in your own home was available. The deck, looking out of the living room, was huge and we ate most meals there as there were tables, chairs and umbrellas to fit everyone. We also had a beautiful view of the lake and went each morning to the beach which was just 4 houses down from ours. The beach was never crowded and there were lounges and umbrellas and bar-be-ques for everyone's use. The kids had a great time looking for crawdads under the pier. We spent the afternoons mostly at the community pool, where we also enjoyed bocce ball, shuffle board, tennis courts and a large picnic area and playing field for the children. The owners were very helpful with ideas while planning our trip and there are many activities and restaurants right there in Tahoe City. All four of our families said it was the best week ever and want to return next year. We highly recommend this home.
