About this apartment rental
This is a terrific apartment in the heart of Paddington, London just a few minutes walk from Paddington Railway Station (where the Heathrow Express arrives), Edgware Road, Hyde Park etc.
The apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a corner building on an attractive, quiet block. Spread over two floors, it has a spacious, bright living room, a large, eat-in kitchen and two bedrooms on the top floor, a master bedroom and smaller bedroom. It's above a commercial premises, so there's no residential neighbors to disturb below or above! In the master bedroom there is a King-size bed and mattress from the store Loaf, and in the smaller bedrooms a queen size bed, and there is both a high quality airbed also available. Both beds have 400-thread count sheets from John Lewis! There is both a washer and dryer and wi-fi. The apartment was renovated a few years ago; both the kitchen and bathroom were completely refreshed and a new carpet was laid down.
All the amenities are extreme close: three grocery stores (Waitrose, Tesco's Paddington, Marks and Spencer's food hall) are literally around the corner; Paddington and Edgware Rd. Tube stops are a couple minutes walk; Hyde Park is 10 minutes walk; and the area has numerous restaurants of all kinds nearby. My favourite local places are the Middle Eastern restaurants on Edgware Rd. and the Bondi Green next to the canal, which is a great pedestrian walk through different parts of London. There are also numerous pubs in the area!
The apartment is privately owned by me, but is professionally managed by our Polish housekeeper Gosia. She ensures the apartment is immaculate before each rental and any issues during a guest's stay are resolved.
The flat is a great base for a visit to London. Because of the light and space, it's really nice to spend time in, but it's location also couldn't be more central. It's an especially good flat for families, because of its size.

We stayed here for a family trip to London (teenagers). This was a great place. Lots of room, very clean, close to lots of restaurants and markets. It was easy to get all over the city from here. The host and manager were very responsive and made everything easy. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The apartment was easy to find and within walking distance of the Heathrow Express. It was lovely and clean.
We had only a few days and had a lot we wanted to see in London. The apartment was a great base. We went out every day and it was good to come home to.

This is a relaxed and comfortable spot on a great block. Thank you for a nice stay!

My tween, teen, husband & I enjoyed 5 nights at this cozy apartment. It was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. Coffee maker (we use a Moka pot at home and loved seeing one here), tea station, well equipped kitchen. There are grocery stores two blocks away as well as a tube station that took us easily to all the sights as well as to Heathrow. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed having enough room to spread out. We saw a lot of London in a short time and were very pleased with our apartment.

Great location and flat. Super close to paddington station. We were able to walk there with multiple suitcases just minutes after arriving at Paddinton station. Location is safe and fairly quiet at night.
We were there during a small heat wave, but there were a few fans provided, as well as a portable a/c unit. We were comfortable
We arrived in London before check in time, but the owner was gracious enough to let us drop our bags off early so we could go explore.
Communication was great. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful visit to London. This property is located near Paddington and Edgeware Stations. Prets and M&S are also close.

More than a hotel! The apartment was fun. Great to experience London from a real flat. Loved the experience.

We had a wonderful trip to London at this flat. The apartment is clean, filled with light, and there was plenty of room for my husband & I, plus our four children (ages 7-14) to sleep comfortably. They used the air mattress in the big bedroom plus an extra trundle mattress and slept just fine. The neighborhood is very convenient and we took the Tube from the Edgeware Rd station almost every day, except for when we used Paddington station to get to Heathrow and to get to the Harry Potter studio tour.
We could take a leisurely stroll to Hyde Park and there were plenty of nice restaurants to try nearby (we recommend Bombay Palace) We liked the Marks and Spencer near the Edgeware Road station for groceries. One day we walked about 20 minutes to the nearby Marylebone neighborhood and visited the gorgeous bookstore Daunt Books, which we also recommend.
Every morning we ate breakfast at the flat to fill up before a busy day out and that was a life saver for our wallets and some of our pickier children.
The only downside to this place is that the stairs are a bit steep, so anyone with mobility issues might struggle. We loved the character of the flat though and had a great time here!

It was also a very convenient place to stay, its well maintained and had all the amenities in good working order. I would stay here again.

This flat was clean and adorable, we loved being there. The kitchen was well stocked with enough cookware for us to eat in a few times. Our preschoolers slept on the blow up mattress in the main bedroom. Not sure how an adult would feel about it. The bedding is comfortable with the exception of the pillows, which were too flat. All in all, would recommend!

Wonderful unit located in Paddington. Perfect for exploring the city via the underground station located a 5 minute walk away. Easy access to Heathrow via Paddington Station and the Elizabeth line. Unit was very clean and exactly as described and shown in photos. Earlier reviews mentioned noise from the pub across the street. The pub is gone now and our stay was very quiet. Overall would highly recommend. Excellent value.

Nice apartment, very clean. The only problem were the stairs (3 floors). We had alot of luggage since we just came off an 11 cruise. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem but my suitcase was heavy! Probably not a problem for a youngin but we are over 70. Great owner to work with!

This was a very cute and clean property near Paddington and Edgeware station. It was walking distance to at least three different stations so you had lots of options to catch the different lines. The apartment itself was very clean and had all the amenities needed for our weeklong stay in London. I was able to drop my luggage off a little early while we explored the city prior to check in. I would highly recommend this for families who need a little bit of space and want to explore the city. The laundry was super convenient. We didn’t have any Issues with the stairs are getting around in the apartment, but I could see that somebody with mobility issues may not get around as well. I would definitely try to book this again if I’m lucky enough to make it back to London.

Good short stay. Accurate description, good amenities. My family enjoyed the apartment. Great communication about check in and understanding host. We accidentally mistimed our departure by an hour and Gosia the cleaning staff was very accommodating. Would recommend for families (we have kids 6,10,12). You can hear the street traffic. But the sounds didn’t affect our stay at all. Thank you Jasper!

Thank you very much to Jasper and Gosia for their kindness!
The flat is very nice and well situated!

This was a lovely two-bedroom apartment/flat with a more-than-adequate kitchen. Having the laundry machines was terrific. The owner was very good to work with. The location is authentic, lively London; not overly touristy. Edgeware Rd tube stops are close, as are two M&Ses for groceries. If you have a bit of mobility issues due to age or what-have-you, the stairs might be a bit too steep and awkward.

The Apartment was just perfect for our family of four. Very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The apartment is very spacious - very large main bedroom with ample room for a blow up bed if needed. The downstairs living areas are light & also have plenty of room. Very responsive host.
Great location with plenty of eating options in the local area. Ten minute walk to Hyde Park.
Highly recommend this apartment.

We had a great stay at the apartment. We were able to navigate to and from everywhere we needed to go. We stayed for 5 nights and loved to be settled into this apartment for those days.
The PROS are brilliant and the CALLOUTS never bothered us much.
PROS:
Close to Paddington and Edgware Metro stations
Groceries super close (we loved M&S)
Walkable to so many places
Safe for a city location
Well stocked kitchen with great appliances
Lots of space
Nice bathroom with good water pressure
Lots of towels and bedding
Laundry Washer/ Dryer was a godsend!
Restaurants close by (fave was the Monkey Puzzle)
Great instructions in place for where to go to get basics
TV with lots of selections
Furniture is comfortable/ sits many people
Good heating system
Great for our needs with two teens and us
TOUR/ Regular Bus stop (we did the hop on hop off Big Bus, but saw several others) a block away from the apartment- SO EASY!!!
Lots of culture on the main drive with unique places to eat/ shop
CALLOUTS:
Lots of stairs for those with small kids/ mobility issues
Stains on carpets (the carpet itself was clean, just large permanent stains)
Street noise at night (manageable with music from my phone or if you have ear plugs, but a white noise machine in bedrooms would help)
Keys can be tricky to get in lockbox as they are larger size
Trash bins right outside the front stoop
Drafty windows/ doors (heat system did a great job though)

A lovely apartment situated over 2 floors. A little quirky with period features which we loved. Great location to pop to the supermarket or grab a take away. Very easy access to the tube and quick to get into central London for sight seeing! I couldn't recommend enough.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was our first trip abroad/in London, this was a great location, close enough to everything we wanted to see (or to public transportation to get us places), but was quiet. This property is much like London and is not handicap accessible, as it has many steps. It also has one king bed and one double or queen rather than 2 king advertised. Overall a great stay and would book again.

So thankful we found this flat. It was lovely to come home after a day of adventures to a place that was ours. We could relax in the living room with a book or tv. We had breakfast each morning before we left and that was a money-saver. Very convenient to have to a washer and dryer. Gosia, the manager, was very responsive the couple of times we had questions.
A prior reviewer noted a loud bar across the street - not our experience at all. It was very quiet and no one in the street. Also, there were containers of trash at the end of the street for a couple of days, but that is just city living. That is where the residents put the trash for weekly pick-up. There was not trash everywhere. Overall I found London much cleaner than NYC. The neighborhood is diverse and close to a grocery, restaurants and pubs. The underground station is also close (we liked Edgware) and from there you have access to the whole city. We bought weekly tube tickets and learned the system quickly - we found it faster and less expensive than cabs.
Improvement suggestions: the carpet is ready for a change, an outside light is needed above the front door and the bathroom would benefit from a shelf for toiletry bags.
Finally, if it’s not gone yet - check out the Banksy by bus stop at Edgware Station - it’s pretty cool.
Would love to stay here again in the future.

Top place to stay in London. Very good location to do daily trips to the various centres.
One caveat is the carpet in the apartment. My recommendation is to rip it out an renew the wonderful wooden floor underneath it.

We (a family of four, with two very young children) had a great time staying in this apartment. It had everything we could need, except very few things. It is really pretty with a beautiful atmosphere and was very convenient for seeing London.
We would come back any time.

The bar across the street, directly across from all the windows in the apartment is extremely loud. And although the bar closes at 11 PM, everyone then moves to the street. Many sirens, and screaming. If you are in for a party location, this is the place for you, When we would leave in the morning, there was always trash on the stoop, empty beer bottles, one time, even a bunch of clothes strewn about. There is no ability to turn on any outside light. It was a little creepy coming home at night. Yes, inside of the place is great, but for the price, between the sleepless nights and the trash bins and trash strewn about, the price is too high

Everything was provided and was as pictured and described. It was a great location with plenty of options for public transport and food shopping close by.
I would recommend it

This was a nice area for us to see the London sights. We were not too close to the touristy areas, but easy enough to reach via the nearby tube station. We were in the flat during a heat wave in London, which is very unusual. The flat did not have A/C, so the rooms were a bit uncomfortable even with the fans running. However, I realize that is an unusual situation.

We had a fantastic stay at this great 2-bedroom apartment in Paddington! The location is great — it is truly an 8-minute walk from Paddington station and while it is close and convenient to all of the sights in London, it is a local, quiet neighbourhood. The unit itself is amazing. We could not believe how much space there was! The ceilings are tall and the rooms are very large. The kitchen is well stocked, the place has lots of space for people and luggage storage and to really spread out. I should note that the stairs up to the bedroom/bathroom are steep, spiral and not level, which may make them challenging for some. There is not air conditioning in the whole unit, but there is a small portable ac unit that works well in whatever room it is, and they also provided fans for the bedrooms, which were terrific as we were in London during a heat wave. There are 2 bedrooms — one with a double/queen, and the other one larger room has a king and also a twin blow-up air mattress (this is where our teens slept). The only other thing I should mention is while there are blinds in the bedrooms, they are not really darkening and so it gets bright early in the rooms. Other than that, the couches are comfy, TV works well and it is very close to some nice neighbourhood pubs! It is right above a laundromat and so there are often people sitting outside on the stoop, but we never found this a problem and there was no noise from it. All in all, we highly recommend this place!

Carpet needs an update. Small bedroom’s bed is too soft. Overall very comfortable and well equipped

The apartment was perfect for what we needed. An easy walk to the underground and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The beds were comfortable and multiple fans were supplied to help cool down the apartment. The windows were a little tricky as they would not stay open on their own and the heat was on when we got there (we visited in July) but we were able to figure out a solution early on so it wasn't a big issue after the first night.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this property.

We stayed here as a family of five. Jasper’s place was a perfect base for our stay in London. Within easy walking distance of both Paddington and Edgeware rd stations, it was so easy to get about. There was plenty of space for all of us and the bonus of having a full kitchen with oven, meant we were able to make meals for ourselves. Even though it was close to major roads, the location itself was so quiet and we enjoyed watching the world go by. We were all very sad to leave as we felt right at home here. Thanks so much!

This condo was located near several shops and restaurants, as well as being close to several transit stops. It was a bit squeezy for our five member family, but the light was great and everything we needed was provided. The surrounding neighborhoods were lovely to walk through on the way to the bus or the tube.

Ideal location tucked away on a quiet street but close enough to walk to Hyde Park as well as being just a few minutes walk to either a bus stop and/or a few of the underground stations to get around. We arrived a little early before check in but just made a quick call and we’re able to drop off our luggage and start exploring. There’s a small grocery close by as well as a few restaurants. Residence was clean, stocked with essentials, and cozy with a lot of room. Will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to travel back to London.

This is simply a stand-out property. Spacious, well-equipped, near tube and rail stations, bright, with solid wifi and comfortable beds. I took walks each day around Hyde Park—a real treat. Excellent value as well. I plan to stay here again!

Easy to walk about, food stores nearby. close to underground. Charming apartment and quite comfortable.

The flat was perfect! The location excellent! And the communication was always there even during our stay. We came for vacation and had one without looking for where the store was, where the underground was everything is right there! We even met a new friend in the neighborhood. Looking forward to my stay next year with my family!

We enjoyed our stay in this property, it was everything listed in the advert. The location was perfect for walking to attractions like Hyde Park and Little Venice as well as Lords Cricket Ground. Public transport was within a 2 minute walk. The host was easily contactable and very accommodating. The check in and check out process was easy. We would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay again. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
