Upon entering, you'll find the main floor with an open living room, dining area, and kitchen. On cold winter nights, you'll want to get comfortable on the big comfy couch and warm up in front of the beautiful gas fireplace. Maybe watch cable on the large flatscreen TV. In the full kitchen, you'll have access to all the major appliances you'd expect, including stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite slab counters. Creating everything from holiday feasts to a big pot of chili to a hearty pancake breakfast before a long day of hiking is no problem here! Right off the living room is a small deck with a gas grill for fixing up burgers, chicken, or whatever you're in the mood for. From this level of the condo there's not much of a view, but the deck is still nice for enjoying the crisp mountain air or having a glass of wine outside after dinner.

In the complex, there's an outdoor shared hot tub but the real star here is the proximity to all that's happening in this charming resort community. After a short stroll, you'll be right at the ski lifts at Bald Mountain and ready for action. At the gorgeous River Run Day Lodge, have lunch or a cocktail after a day on the slopes or do a little shopping at the Brass Ranch. And if you want to mix it up a bit, the ski lifts at Dollar Mountain are less than a 10-minute drive away. In the summer, you can take the gondola or hike up Mt Baldy and hike or ride down, all the while enjoying stunning mountain views. Fishing fans will want to head to the Big Wood River for a chance at catching rainbow and cut-bow trout. Also right near the condo, there's a bus stop that will take you right to the center of downtown Ketchum - of course, it's also just a 10-minute walk to the center of town if you'd rather get a little bit of exercise. From here there are movie theaters, museums, shopping, and restaurants to explore. Also year-round, the Ketchum and Sun Valley region has its share of special events - in January there's the Sun Valley Nordic Festival, the Sun Valley Film Festival in May, the Arts and Crafts Festival in August, and Ketchum's unique Trailing of the Sheep Festival every October.

AVOID - No air conditioning during record heat wave, downstairs tub/shower was broken and never fixed, no privacy curtain for main entrance window, "3rd bedroom" is a joke with only a small sofa, washing machine kept giving error message.

Terrible communication. I tried to reach out the week before several times and was totally unable to receive a response from anyone! I’ve never had this problem from a VRBO property before-

This was a beautiful property.
First- we could not lock the door. After many tries trying to get the property manager over to fix it- we gave up and never locked the door.
Hot- no air conditioning and no way to cool the upstairs so we took turns sleeping on the downstairs sofa.
The pictures make it look bigger than it is. The downstairs is designed well but very small.
If it is for two people would be fine.

Condo is really close to the lifts and was well described. Amenities in the condo were fine.

The condo is a cozy nice place. When you first get there, make sure that the floor heaters have been turned on. We mentioned it to the staff, but do a double check yourself. They don't heat up quickly, and it takes a few minutes to figure out the thermostats. You don't want to be doing that at 1:00 in the morning!

The condo is a cozy nice place. When you first get there, make sure that the floor heaters have been turned on. We mentioned it to the staff, but do a double check yourself. Amazing location, everything was walkable! There are two actual bedrooms, the third bed is a pullout couch that is located in a private area with a shared bathroom. Super clean and had a wonderful stay! Location is in an apartment complex but it’s nice and quiet! Street parking is in abundance and there is one designated spot. We will be back!

The property was very comfortable and convenient. Wanted to let you know the microwave did not work at all. When we first tried to work it, the display flashed random lights, but then went blank and was non operational. Also, there may still be some issues with the wi-fi, it was spotty at best and signal not strong enough to stream anything. Sports family and without ESPN cable, we attempted to stream, via chromecast, a football game and / or a movie, to no avail.

I was at first timid about something new. I had never booked a condo and I was told that I would get and e-Mail with the lock combination 6 days prior to arrival, but I never got that e-Mail, so, I looked back at the reservation confirmation and was able to get that, but that was just "dumb luck." I usually don't get that lucky, since I am very tech challenged. Anyway, it was nice and clean with several malfunctions, which, were also workable, since access to Vacasa was good. Either they called me back within minutes or answered right immediately. I would have preferred air conditioning, but opening it up at night was all right since the local temperatures were not too high. We ran out of TP and paper towels, but the local grocery store was only about 4 blocks away. Overall, we were satisfied.

This unit is west-facing and has no AC so it gets really hot every afternoon. The property manager brought us 4 fans the day after we arrived because the condo was in the mid 80s until about 3AM so our first night was terrible. The fans helped, however, we spent about 15 minutes every morning and evening (for 10 nights) moving the fans to different doors and windows in an effort to cool the place down enough for us to sleep. There are 3 skylights in the unit, none of which have a cover, so the skylights add to the immense afternoon heat. One of the skylights is in a bedroom making it impossible to go to sleep before 10PM unless you are able to do so with the "lights on." If none of this bothers you, then this is the place for you. It was not the place for us, and unfortunately put a damper on our vacation. I do not typically leave reviews but did not want this experience to happen to another family.

We loved the location--only one snowboarder in our group but it was convenient to drop him off at River Run and walk to meet him for lunch/drinks later. Comfortable for a group of five (four adults, one preteen). The house had everything we needed, plenty of kitchen basics.
