This place was perfect for our vacation. It was well appointed, The host was very nice. She even made us banana bread! We particularly liked the outdoor space. The spacious house is in a relatively quiet neighborhood and also close to places we had planned to travel while in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are conveniently close as well. We would stay here again if in the area.

I can't recommend this place enough. Our dogs loved the fenced yard. The home is lovely, quaint and even though it's in town, it never felt that way. I have never slept so well away from home. Thank you Jackie! We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. Location is great. Quiet and comfortable. The backyard is perfect for our pups and Jackie is such a wonderful host. Thanks Jackie and the Chocolate Banana Bread was wonderful!

Jackie is a great host, from the banana bread to the throws for sofa for the four legged family members. We loved the back deck while barbecuing and the dogs loved the huge back yard!

Fantastic 2 day stay. Served our family as a perfect base camp for exploring Colorado wine country for a couple of days. Fenced yard was perfect for our pups and grilling some evening steaks. Cottage was clean and provided absolutely everything we needed - to say the least. Communication with Jackie was top notch, and she made sure our stay was perfect. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the sweet Apple cottage! We were in town for a race over in Fruita and the convenience of GJ and the proximity to Fruita made for a great race weekend! Beds are comfy, and the kitchen is fully stocked. There are multiple tables and a desk should you need to work remotely as well.

We drove from the Chicago area. My son and his family live close by, so it was a perfect place to stay. My grandkids loved the backyard! We loved the house! We will return on our next trip to Grand Junction.

Sweet Apple Cottage is charming and comfortable. Its in an ideal location with groceries, restaurants and other services minutes away. The Colorado National Monument and other great hiking are also very close.

This is a well-loved home, pleasant and comfortable and conveniently-located. The host is thoughtful and accommodating; her recommendations were excellent.
Dog owners: the backyard is good-sized and can be accessed directly through a door from the main bedroom. In addition, there is off-leash hiking park (Lunch Loops) a 5-minute drive away.

We enjoyed the cottage. It was cozy and inviting. Very clean and Jackie even left us homemade bread. Thank you Jackie!

The Sweet Apple cottage is a comfortable, fully-equipped home, close to the Colorado National Monument and just about all of the Grand Junction area attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great backyard for relaxing.

Jackie was very responsive and sweet and kind. The house was warm and inviting. The bed was comfy. The highlight, for me, was the yard: our doggy just loved it. The neighborhood is quiet, although you can hear traffic from the nearby road. (With the windows closed though, you couldn’t hear the traffic). The banana bread was a nice touch. For me, the downside was that I felt bad for displacing the owner. She lives here normally, unless it is rented. Her decor reflects a well-lived and interesting life; however, there were lots and lots of knick-knacks and mementos covering every surface. I had to move things aside to make room for my travel bags and toiletries. More so though, I just felt badly that I was invading her space and her world.

Beautiful place, even better than described. Everything was included and I mean everything. Highly recommend this home. We ended up purchasing our own property in the area so we moved out of this place right into our own nearby.
Great job Jackie!

Our stay at the cottage was much more than expected.
It provided all the comforts of home...including a peaceful environment in a beautiful setting. It was conveniently located to all the site and attractions that Grand Junction has to offer. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait for a return visit to the "Sweet Apple Cottage".

Wonderful stay and would highly recommend this vrbo. Hostess was the best!

Jackie was lovely and so welcoming. She gives up her home for guests to visit the area. Her friendly personality made the trip extra special. Her back yard was nice to enjoy in the morning and later at night, very relaxing. It had a lot of great sniffs for our pup Jackson. Quiet neighborhood, Jack and I walked at 6 am each morning. Loved hearing the roosters crow down the street, we couldn’t hear the roosters at Jackie’s only when out and about. If we go back, we will definitely stay with Jackie. She’s a great hostess! Thank you Jackie!

My family was travelling from Vail, CO to the Canyonlands so the cabin was right in the middle and was a perfect location for us. Jackie was a wonderful host and extremely helpful. She was very welcoming and had the most delicious loaf of double chocolate banana bread waiting for us. This was such a nice treat after a long day of travelling. In addition, she provided us with a book of all the local restaurants and attractions to visit. We were happy that we chose to stay at her place and would recommend it to others. Thank you Jackie for your wonderful hospitality.

The house was adorable. Jackie is the cutest lady and her outdoor space is to die for. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay.

It was great to have such a comfortable home to stay in. I especially loved the kitchen and the master suite. The outside patio was also a great place to enjoy our morning coffee. I've never been in a place that had so many "incidentals" available. The communication with the host was easy.

Jackie’s VRBO is a lovely, comfortable respite in the Redlands, an oasis close to everything. We were greeted with her delicious double chocolate banana nut bread. We had family in and out and did lots of cooking - her kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Her backyard garden and patio is lovely and guest friendly. Comfortable beds and very clean. Loved it!

We had a great stay at Sweet Apple Cottage! This is the perfect location to explore the Colorado National Monument as well as Canyonlands/Arches. So close to fuel, grocery, wine/beer store, and Handlebars Tap House. The house was spacious and everything provided for.

The best thing about this cottage is the location. Short bike ride to all the trails. Communication with Jackie was wonderful, she made sure all our needs were met. Great house to stay in when in Grand Junction!

Lovely home, wonderful host. My husband and I stayed here with our dogs for a long weekend. The home was bigger than I thought it would be, the yard was fenced and had good privacy. Location was perfect - close to trails, easy access to town, and quiet/peaceful. Jackie has made the house a home and we felt very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

Darling log cabin cottage in a great location. Host is an excellent communicator and generous about sharing her actual home with visitors.
4.8
This property is fantastic and the description doesn't do it justice. There are so many good features, but I elaborate on three:
. The house is a lot larger than the pictures convey. Two couples have private beds and baths on opposite sides
. The yard is very large, grassy, fully fenced, with easy access in/out for dogs
. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a long diningroom table. We went here for thanksgiving and it was perfect
Also, the biking trail to town or to the lunch loops/monument is 300ft away.
Fantastic, we would definitely come back!

Beautiful, cozy home to spend a weekend or longer. Host, Jackie is so welcoming and kind. We did not want for anything.

Totally inviting when you walk into the home! We were welcomed with Jackie’s homemade Double Chocolate Chip Banana Bread! So yummy! The home was very clean and comfortable! Jackie was very responsive to all our questions and gave us ideas of the sights in Grand Junction. This was our last stop on a 16 day trip to see sights in the Southwest USA. Great place to chill for a day before beginning a long 2 day trip home. The kitchen has everything one needs and the deck was great to enjoy a couple of adult beverages in the afternoon. My husband commented that the TV’s at this house were by far the easiest to use! He was able to watch college football Sat evening!!!
