Very quiet and lovely country setting. New appliances - everything you need for making meals in. Also enjoyed dinner at the nearby Pelican's Landing restaurant.

Great stay....no complaints!
Lovely house, perfect fit for our family of two adults and two small children (ages 3 and 6). We spent most of our time at the house enjoying games in the den. Foosball was a big hit with the kids. We also loved "hiking"...trail was easy to follow and great for littles. (Only one small downhill that required a little caution. ) Didn't get to fish, but will keep that on the list for our next visit. Host was sweet and very communicative. Overall, probably one of the best VRBOs we've experienced!

A beautiful property with lots to offer! We had a great time! Chris and Betsy were very accommodating to our needs and had the best dog ever that would visit us during our stay. We will definitely book again.

A great weekend getaway
This property is set up perfectly to enjoy a weekend away with friends. All of the areas had plenty of seating for our group of 6 adults, and the set up was perfect for telling stories and catching up. It's located outside of the city so the evenings were quiet, but it only took us 10 minutes to be at the dock for guided fishing with Captain Marty (I'd highly recommend). Betsy met us at arrival and gave us the tour and was great to work with throughout the process. I'd highly recommend this property and will use it again.

Very nice property and owners
This place was definitely awesome! There were several ponds, a nature trail, a horseshoe pit, a fire pit area, and the house itself was very nice. It’s a few minute drive from Lake Texoma, although we made a further drive to rent a boat at a marina further away. Blue and Bonnet (the owner’s dogs) are awesome. Chris and Betsy were very helpful and responsive. Overall, I thought this was a fantastic place and would definitely stay here again.

Very private and peaceful.
House was very clean. Bedrooms were a nice size and beds were comfortable. Woodstove with wood available. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the outside since it rained that weekend. Looking forward to another trip when we can enjoy walking on the property and sitting by the firepit. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend visiting with good friends. Betsy is a very nice hostess.

Excellent, look forward to staying again soon.
We spent New Years Eve here and had a great time. Inside the house is tastefully decorated, the bedrooms have fine linens, and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen tools. There is a foosball table that everyone in our party enjoyed playing. Outside there are several ponds, beautiful trees and the only sound you hear is nature. Highly recommend.

Great place!!!
Our ministerial staff stayed on your property for a staff retreat. We did a book review, planned and prayed for God's will as a staff. It was a perfect place to enjoy God's creation as we sought His will.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay on your property. Every aspect of it was great!!

Worst experience we ever had in a vacation rental
DO NOT stay here I been using HomeAway for the last 10 years 2 or 3 times a year and by far this is the worst property I ever been, soon that you walk in to the property the owner gives you a list of all the things that you can't do, one of them is quiet time after 9 (is a 21 acres property no one is around you for miles) so it was hard to esplain to kids that we can do a fire o camp outside, and by the way they give you a check list to do before you leave the property, don't trust the pictures the pods are just holes in the ground. If you like to be watching TV 24 hours a day or if you don't want to do anything because if you do something in this property is against the rules this is the place for you. This is not a friendly family place, I wish I could get my time and my money back.

Clean, Comfortable, Relaxing!
Betsy was fabulous! She meet us at the house, showed us around, answered any questions had and made us feel very welcomed! The three beds were very comfortable, space was clean and relaxing! We hung out on the back porch and the front porch as well as lounged around at the kitchen table. We were down for a quick girls getaway and the front porch swing quickly took all stress away. We came home completely relaxed!

21 Acres of Pure Hospitality
Go here. Just get in your car and drive! This is the kind of spot the word "unwind" was made for. When you arrive to this sweet home, you will be welcomed with all of the grace, charm, hospitality, and preparedness you could possibly want. Betsy is kind, thorough and the epitome of accommodating. Everything about the house is lovely, cozy, pristine, and inviting. Seriously I don't think I've ever slept better on an overnight trip. The 21 acres of land is peaceful and a wonderful place to sit, read, talk, laugh, "pond"er the things of life (yeah they have multiple ponds), and find some of that rare stillness we need in the world. The wood burning stove was one of our favorite things and be sure to go out at night- wait five minutes and you'll be sure to see a shooting star! All in all, the experience was what we wanted- seamless to coordinate, easy to arrive, simple yet comfortable and elegant in the accommodations, and hassle-free. Seriously- even receiving our security deposit back was zero-fuss and easy as pie. We felt so welcomed and cared for. Thanks Betsy!
