I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. Enjoyed the close proximity to trails, rivers, and excursions. The WiFi was good and was able to work while I stayed. Good communication with owner. Would stay again.

The cabin was neat and clean as a pin. Please note that one of the boards on the deck has deteriorated to the point that it will fall through near the steps to the fire pit . No inconvenience to us…. just a heads up …..we loved our stay.

We loved the cabin. It was off the beaten path but close enough to enjoy Andrews and Bryson City. The cabin itself is very clean, well stocked with all the necessities and a few bonuses too. Great hot tub and fire pit to enjoy the peace and quiet and serenity of the area too.

My mother and I stayed for mother's day weekend and it was perfect. Perfectly serene and cozy.

The cabin was better than the pictures, secluded on a beautiful property. Me and my boyfriend decided to take advantage of the rural area by not connecting to the WiFi and having a phone free couple of nights and we don’t regret it at all!! The area was the perfect size for the both of us, the hot tub was also a perfect addition to our stay!! The owner has lot of pamphlets and brochures of all the amazing things to see while staying and places to eat!!

The cabin was great and exactly what we needed!

Great location, semi-isolated, cute. Will return

We enjoyed the cozy little cabin in such a beautiful location! The drive to the cabin follows a gorgeous river and really sets the "mountain mood". The cabin itself is super cute and cozy. Everything you need is right there, including a hot tub! We visited for 9 nights over Christmas, but I'm sure it would be beautiful at any time of year.

We loved the area of the cabin and the seclusion and privacy. We also loved the small cabin and hot tub. It was very close to the wedding venue where we were attending a wedding about 7 miles from Nantahala Weddings. The only down side of this trip was it was very cold and raining which ruined some of our plans and kept us inside. Our phones use AT&T towers and we had absolutely no service at the cabin and did not have any until you would get close to the general store on the main road going towards Bryson City. Our advise would be to download the map of the area on your GPS ahead of time so you can find your way without a signal. Having no service is not a big deal when you have WiFi but unfortunately the WiFi would connect but would immediately say no internet connection in the cabin. They did have some DVDs to occupy our time stuck inside. There was also no lights in the bathroom due to an electrical issue that we were not told about in advance so we had to go buy a battery powered light to have in there so we could shower and get ready. We made the best of the situation and really did not mind as we were just ready to enjoy some time away from reality and celebrate our friends marriage. This may not be for everyone which is why we are leaving this review. For us it was not a big negative or a reason to complain but if you need to check in with Family it makes it difficult and might not be the location for you.

It was great.

Off the beaten path and very charming. Hot tub was clean and functioned. Built a fire in the outdoor pit and there is also a fire pit by the creek side. Very relaxing and quiet. Ate at Lakeside Cafe and Grill. Rented a pontoon boat for a trip on the gorgeous Lake. Just enough space for two people. ♥️ Clean and tidy. We wanted for nothing.

If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway to disconnect, look no further! This cabin was perfect for my fiancé and I to unwind, disconnect and reconnect. The cabin was perfect as well as the area. Definitely recommend!
4.8
The wifi was weak as advertised. The final directions I received had us turning right off otter creek instead of left. These are my only negatives. Overall it was what I rented and just right for me and my wife.

We enjoyed it stayed 6 nights it was peaceful and quiet. Had a fire each morning and also in the evening. Cooked out every meal . Loved listening to the birds sing and running water in the creeks. The stars at night were beautiful and bright. We will definitely be back .

This little home was perfect, it was exactly as advertised. The home was fully stocked with all the necessities and then some. Such a beautiful location. Would love to come stay again, there’s so much to do in the area, outdoor activities galore.

This cabin is beautiful and close to town we did so much stuff while we were here and the hot tub was amazing after a day full of activities and the cabin its self was really cozy the bed is really comfortable so we slept really well we hiked a fire tower near by and you could see the cabin from the top i would recommend staying here if you are thinking about it

This cabin is very comfortable and well stocked w/ dishes and cookware if you want to cook. We are always appreciate being able to find pet friendly places to stay as we travel with our lab mix whenever we can. Amenities such as a store are not necessarily super close by, but then again it takes a minute to travel the mountain roads anywhere in this area. The hot tub is a great perk. We could not get the Dish to work on the tv but we were not there to watch tv so this did not bother us at all. We did not try to hook to the wifi since we really wanted to unplug. There is a DVD player there with some movies to watch if digital entertainment is necessary. There is no cell service at the cabin but this was also expected given the location. Firewood was available to purchase at the cabin (bring cash). Overall this was a great place for us. This was our first time in this area and it was a fairly central location for all we wanted to see and explore.

Wonderful place to stay. Have stayed in the smaller cabin several times and love it is well. Enjoyed the additional space this cabin offers but missed the stream right outside the door. Either cabin is perfect though and we will be returning!

Perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate his birthday and to truly just escape the hustle and bustle of everyday noise. The cabin is exactly how it is described and we just loved it! It had everything we needed and more. The creek that runs by it is so beautiful and serene, it was one of our favorite parts of the property. The beds were super comfy, the water in the shower got nice, and hot ( which was wonderful after long hikes that we did, so many trails I'm the area!), and we loved relaxing at night in the hot tub gazing at the stars! We have already been looking at dates for our next trip because we can't wait to go back! The wifi was spotty but we didn't care because we truly wanted to unplug. A very much needed vacation to rest, relax, and really enjoy the beauty of nature. DVDS were provided which was a nice touch, we did bring our own because of previous reviews, but we barely watched them at all. There were too many natural things to enjoy. Thank you Kent for having such a beautiful place, we had an absolutely wonderful getaway!!!

This cabin was cozy and spotless. My hubby, our dog and myself all enjoyed the peace, quiet, and remoteness of the cabin. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The firepit and hot tub were particular favorites. A TRUE GEM!!

Had a great time and loved the cabin. Very clean and well kept. Secluded and quiet. No TV (Dish satellite doesn’t work) but we were prepared for that and brought DVD movies (there is a DVD player) No cell phone service but Wifi works great so we could still text and browse Internet. Loved the hot tub! We met friends who stayed in Wolf Song. Overall, a very relaxing week. We will definitely return!

Great! Adorable, cozy little cabin! Perfect weekend escape! Loved the hot tub!

Due to some unfortunate hiccups check in was difficult but at no fault of the host. He was very accommodating and worked quickly to get us settled in. Enjoyed the view and quiet that surrounds the cabins. Definitely would visit again.

We were looking for a cozy cabin for a weekend get away and this was perfect. t was clean and furnished with everything we needed. We also loved the fire pit outside. We grilled and sat around the campfire. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the moose lodge. it is so cute and cozy we recommend a possible fire stick or chrome cast as the tv satellite wasn’t working. would also recommend an outdoor light for when hanging out outside at night can get a little dark. all in all was such a great stay and enjoyed every minute of it.

We LOVED this place and will return!! It was so nice to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! We enjoyed having no internet, no tv, no phone service....we deal with that on a daily basis so it was JUST PERFECT!! Very clean, very cozy, very quaint. No shortage of stars while sitting in the hot tub and plenty of fire wood on an honors basis. We will be back here!! Loved the towns as well! Stock up on groceries if you're coming here, you do not want to leave for more!

What a great property and hit fall colors on the nose. Absolutely beautiful property with this awesome cabin. The front looked out over the hill (then the valley behind) that leads you to this modern rustic cabin. Perfect size for a getaway. Had everything needed and then some. Hot tub was great especially under the stary sky. Had fire every night and made use of the grill. We didnt mind the satellite was out as we came for the rest and the gorgeous fall colors. Had no idea the Natahala river was what it is…..a rafting and kyaking mecca! Coming from Texas most peoples comments are ‘ Thats North Carolina?’ as they had no idea of the National Forest/Topography/etc of the area. We will be back!!

Air conditioning unit wasn’t working correctly (going on 10 secs & off) & unable to contact owner to fix it. No phone or WiFi. My husband pulled the filter & cleaned it. Disappointed that there wasn’t TV to watch because the dish was down. Movies they left to watch on DVD were old. If weather was better we could have spent it outside

This was a nice clean cabin tucked back in the woods with a bubbling creek and a wonderful view of the stars. The hot tub was great after a long hike out in nature. Will definitely stay here again.
4.8
The cabin was lovely and cozy. The drives in the Nantahala Forest are beautiful and offer many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Be sure to take the longer, but much easier drive up the cabin via Wayah Road then Otters Creek Road.

It was our 45 anniversary. We love it and plan on staying again.

No TV for 4 days
We could not get dish to work. It kept saying it was blocked.
