San Juan Suites - Channel Room- Disembark from the ferry and within an easy walk, arrive at this centrally located second floor room in the heart of the quaint seaside village of Friday Harbor. With interior updates in 2020, the Channel Room is located within a stone's throw of specialty coffee shops, fine restaurants, galleries, and a variety of shopping options, with only a short stroll further to the SJ Community Theater or the Whale Museum.
This private room offers a King bed, full bath, comfortable easy chairs and an entertainment center with a DVD player and satellite TV for relaxing moments during your stay. This unit also has an ironing board and iron hanging in the closet. Complimentary coffee provided for the standard, drip-style coffeemaker to start the day, as well as a mini-fridge to keep things cool.
This room has good cell phone reception.
This property has an adjoining door with Valley Farm (Valley Farm is pet friendly), which can be unlocked for joint groups.
This unit is not recommended for those with a young child.
There is not an elevator in the building; climbing a flight of stairs is required.

Stay was nice, the location makes everything downtown within walking distance. The only problem we had was on our last night when a couple rented the room next to us brought their puppy and locked him in there room for four and a half hours of him crying and braking until they got home around 11 30 p.m

We loved staying at your condo. It was the perfect size, and the best location. So convenient to wander around downtown and come back and rest when needed. Communication with host was speedy and they answered all my questions. Great place. I'll stay there again!

Friday Harbor is the cutest town, and this place is in the heart of the downtown. The location is so close to restaurants, coffee shops and the downtown shopping area. Everything is walkable. The room is about the size of a standard hotel room. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend Friday Harbor.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Friday Harbor! Right next store to the lavender store so when you walk down the stairs it smells so good! The room was super cozy and clean. The only thing I would complain about is the air conditioning unit makes a lot of loud noises. But no complaints other than that!

This was my second trip to FH. I was unable to rent the room from my last trip but very happy I found this one. The location was perfect and an easy walk to everything we needed. If I return again, I'll definitely pick this location however I'll book way ahead in order to get a room with a balcony. Everything was very clean and the scent of the Lavender store below was very inviting and soothing. Definitely would book again.

A few days in Friday Harbor
This was my second trip to FH. I was unable to rent the room from my last trip but very happy I found this one. The location was perfect and an easy walk to everything we needed. If I return again, I'll definitely pick this location however I'll book way ahead in order to get a room with a balcony. Everything was very clean and the scent of the Lavender store below was very inviting and soothing. Definitely would book again.

The experience in the room was interesting with some good points and bad points.
First the good:
There were spare batteries of various sizes. Nice touch.
There was music playing softly when we entered. Thought at first it was coming from outside, but it was the entertainment system. Nice atmosphere, but glad we figured it out before bed time!
The bed is big and comfortable.
There is a coffee pot.
There is a small fridge.
The place was clean.
The not as good:
While there was coffee, there was no sugar, cream/creamer, nothing to put in the coffee. We did not end up using it, there are many coffee shops within a block of the place.
There is no microwave. (not advertised as having one so, fair enough)
There was no bathmat. That one we thought was odd. Towels, but nothing to put on the floor after a shower and the tiles get slippery.
You can hear what the neighbors are doing and saying. Just keep that in mind. Our neighbors were not that bad, except one had a dog that they left in the room one evening and it kept barking until they came back. Property management was responsive when called and they contacted the people and they in turn were also responsive and came back really quickly. So it worked out, but be aware of what you do can possibly be heard by others, and you are likely to be hearing other people.

Great location to base your San Juan vacation. Easy walking to anything in town and the ferry terminal. If you have a car the parking space is a big plus. Overall the unit was very clean except the shower curtain was covered in black mold below, very disgusting, and the tub drain needs unclogged, immediately fills up and drains very slow. These two things should be an obvious red flag for any decent housekeeper. That said it wasn't enough to ruin our stay and overall we were happy with everything else about the unit.

This place is within walking distance to ferry, excellent food choices, adventures, and simply sitting on a park bench overlooking the harbor. Inter ferry to other islands is fun. The parks are wonderful. The Orcas are such fun. A great place to visit. San Juan Properties are clean and comfortable and it couldn’t be easier to come and go, and to feel safe all the while. Thank you!

We spent 3 days, 2 nights at the San Juan Suites Channel Room. Seamless check in and check out, very comfortable rooms. We did get contacted about a malfunctioning satellite TV system but our room was unaffected. Room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. We did not look closely to discover no microwave in room but that is a minor miss on our part. This place was very close to the harbor and all of downtown, bed was comfy and we had a wonderful stay! We were just steps from our whale watch cruise provider and just around the corner from our kayaking guide. We were able to travel out to parks, Roche Harbor and the lavender fields in addition to the 2 water activities. Great midweek in FH!

Perfect location for all activities!
This place is within walking distance to ferry, excellent food choices, adventures, and simply sitting on a park bench overlooking the harbor. Inter ferry to other islands is fun. The parks are wonderful. The Orcas are such fun. A great place to visit. San Juan Properties are clean and comfortable and it couldn’t be easier to come and go, and to feel safe all the while.
