The bungalow was exactly as pictured and in a great location. It was a beautiful home base and away from the crowds and traffic of Honolulu and Waikiki. From the bungalow it was easy to get to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had an evening arrival to Oahu with a flight delay and luggage issues at the airport so we arrived quite late but they were waiting for use on arrival to get us settled in. We would definitely stay there again when in Oahu.

We had a great stay in the bungalow. We especially enjoyed the following:
1. The privacy. The bungalow is situated behind the owner’s home, and there’s a private walkway leading to the front door of the bungalow. There’s a lot of lush vegetation around the bungalow and no street noise.
2. The view from the porch. The bungalow is situated on a hillside, and the porch of the bungalow faces downhill, allowing you see miles off into the distance.
3. The cleanliness. There’s a “shoes-off” policy in the bungalow which helps ensure the space stays clean.
4. The TV. Larger screen than what’s typically provided by a rental, and access to many cable channels.

We came out to Hawaii for two primary reasons. The Eagles concert and to see our grandchildren who had just moved back to Hawaii from Washington just two weeks prior. Since their place was barely moved in to we decided to stay close to the stadium making our concert travel close and easy. The bungalow was perfect. Great sized for just the two of us and was there for us when we came back to settle in the evenings. We didn't spend much time there due to all of the activities we had planned and the visiting we did, but when we needed it, it was absolutely perfect. Great location to make your central hub to the entire island. We visited the North Shore from here, the west coast, the east coast and all of the southern coast. It was a short drive to wherever we needed to go, and we were always on the go.

We celebrated our honeymoon (25 years delayed) at KT Aloha. Our 5-night stay in the bungalow, up on the hill in Aiea, was the perfect start to our trip.
KT Aloha is a quiet, private oasis on Oahu, central to everything/anything you want to see and do while on the island. It is up and away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki, in an established residential area. In fact, it offers an amazing, distant view of the higher populated areas, without the noise and stress, from its back lanai (where we spent every morning and evening.) The bungalow is clean and comfortable and is the perfect retreat for an active couple who wants to spend their days exploring every nook and cranny of Oahu. KT Aloha is within 40 minutes of any other spot on the island, a fantastic "home base" for your trip.
Kelly and Trent (and Miles!) are welcoming, friendly, helpful, and eager to please. They greeted us with hugs and leis, and helped us settle in, assisting with our bags and giving us an overview of the property. They even had dinner and breakfast provisions (including eggs from "Da Girls") waiting for us--a huge and much appreciated gesture after a long day of traveling! Their hospitality is endless and included helpful tips for things to do and see (with reminders to stay safe and alert during our wanderings); loaned snorkel gear; and even a bottle of champagne and card, recognizing our anniversary.
It is next to impossible to complain about KT Aloha. If anything, our only (very minor) inconvenience was that the thermostat on the dryer seemed to be failing; clothes and towels didn't always dry efficiently. A very, very small issue...
If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Oahu, KT Aloha would be our first booking. Our sincere thanks to our friends Kelly and Trent, for sharing their very special property!

Spotless new cottage with a view. We were there to celebrate my granddaughters first birthday. The very kind owner brought me wrapping paper, scissors, tape and pink tissue paper and then helped me wrap the birthday presents! She also gave me a face mask because I told her I was worried about spreading my cold/flu to the baby. I will always remember her hospitality. The cottage is beautiful, spacious and new in a very nice neighborhood. We hiked each morning in a forest/state park nearby. The kitchen had everything a well equipped kitchen should have including a Magic Bullet to make smoothies. We will definitely return.

Can't say enough about our gracious hosts Kelly and Trent! Truly beautiful and thoughtful. They have made a beautiful Hawaiian retreat. We were on the go every day touring the entire island and felt like home when returning at the end of each exhausting day. Our bed was soft and cozy. Perfect spot high up and in the center of the island to venture off. Thank you for the Pineapple the beautiful Lei the fresh eggs from the girls. Making sure we had an umbrella for a rainy day and the true Hawaiian hospitality! We hope to return to your bungalow again one day. You will not go wrong with this one!!

What a wonderful trip. Been to Oahu several times but this was the most peaceful location yet. Close to shopping and restaurants. Centrally located. Clean with all the comforts of home. A beautiful view is the icing on the cake. Kelly & Trent were gracious hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to returning.
