Welcome to Maine Squeeze!
This newly decorated cottage is located in the charming coastal village of Camden, Maine. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a comfortable living room with television, a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, perfect for a home-cooked meal or steamed lobster from the local gourmet market; and a cheerful bedroom and full bath. The landscaped backyard includes a spacious deck for relaxing or dining al fresco, equipped with a gas grill for your use. House comes complete with all amenities.
Downtown Camden and its picturesque harbor are less than an easy 5-minute stroll away, and rivers and lakes abound in the area. Some of our favorite nearby activities include:
•Drinking hot buttered rum or a Maine microbrew by the fire at The Waterfront, a cozy harborside restaurant downtown.
•Kayaking alongside loons on pristine Megunticook Lake, then picnicking at Fernald's Neck, an interior lake peninsula that's well-suited for parking kayaks and sunbathing on big, flat boulders. (Inexpensive kayak rentals and delivery are available from Duck Trap Kayaks at short notice.)
•Hiking up Mount Battie, the small mountain that overlooks Camden Village and provides a postcard-perfect view of Penobscot Bay's many islands.
•Visiting one of many annual festivals and fairs: Christmas by the Sea (December), the National Tobaggan Championships (February), and a variety of crafts fairs in Camden; the Maine Lobster Festival in Rockland (August); the Common Ground Fair in Unity (September); Arts in the Park in Belfast (18 mi.); and the Union State Fair and Maine Wild Blueberry Festival in Union (13 mi.).
Our central, Mid-Coast location is an excellent jumping-off point for exploring the rest of Maine's rugged, rocky coast! Some of our favorite attractions include:
•Freeport - Visit famous LL. Bean and many, many outlet stores: 67 miles (one hour and forty minutes).
•Kennebunkport: home of George and Barbara Bush, 110 miles (two and a half hours).
•Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park: 76 miles (two hours).
•Kittery - Shopping Outlets: 130 miles (two hours and forty minutes).
•Portland - Maine's Largest City: 81 miles (two hours).
•Boston, Massachusetts: 190 miles (three and a half to four hours).
•Pemaquid Point: beautiful lighthouse (one and a half hours)
Whether you're looking to sea kayak along the rugged coast or fine-dine in one of Camden's many excellent restaurants, our home provides a convenient and comfortable base for experiencing what is arguably Maine's most beautiful town. We invite you to relax in our cottage and make memories with your family and friends that will last a lifetime.

As advertised. Great location. Beautiful little house. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful place from which to explore mid-coast Maine.

The house was well equipped but needed a few new knives and extra trash liners for the kitchen trash cans. Also, the internet was a bit slower than what I am used to. Finally, there was a bit of a musty odor. A cute house though.

The house was immaculate. Everything was supplied for an extended stay. The fenced in yard was perfect. Very convenient walking distance to downtown and the Mt Battie trail. So many things to do with a short drive. Overall a wonderful Maine experience.

A wonderful cozy cottage feel we had staying in this comfortable home, just a few blocks from the center of the heart of Camden and the harbor. This beautiful little village has been our go-to-place for 50 years, and staying here was the frosting on the cake for this trip. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and also providing for all our needs in her home. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to Maine.

Very clean, homey. Extremely well stocked, bath towels, sheets, pillows. Back yard had a nice patio/deck with comfortable furniture. A gas grill was available if needed. A/C worked great and ceiling fans were helpful to keep us cool during a hot/humid week. Showers were decent. It was great having a dishwasher and washer/dryer at your disposal. Driveway was enough for 2 cars. TV sets and cable worked fine. Kitchen was well supplied and plenty of glassware and utensils. We brought our own beach chairs and beach towels for the lakes and harbor beaches which were superb. You are very close to town so that you can walk if you like. Mt. Battie trail head is 0.3 miles so the location is very convenient. Sara (the owner) is very responsive and was very helpful during our stay. I highly recommend Maine Squeeze as your base in Camden.

Maine Squeeze is a very comfortable cozy place with a good sized deck and private back yard for relaxing. The flower boxes full of budding geraniums and other plantings throughout the yard welcomed us on our arrival.
The first floor has a very large, eat in kitchen at which we planned our daily adventures, whether they were to points north, south of just to downtown Camden.
The table had plenty of room for families and friends to sit around and enjoy meals together. We found plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware and pots and pans. All the kitchen utensils were readily available for use.
All three bedrooms were well appointed with quality sheets, fashionable colorful quilts and pillows. There were also extra sheets and blankets in each room if needed. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's rest. The living room was nicely furnished and decorated, the perfect place for reading, watching tv or playing board games after a busy day touring or riding bikes.
The owner, Sara, was very attentive and hospitable. Unusual to have the owner stop by to say hello and see if we were settled in okay. We liked that.
Overall, Maine Squeeze was a great place for our two weeks in Maine. Hopefully, we will be able to return to Maine again, we hope that it is available for our vacation.

Comfortable,accommodating, and so much more!
Perfect place to settle for a week in Camden! Maine Squeeze was located very close to town and even a short walk to the biweekly Farmers Market. All other activities such as hiking Mt. Battie, swimming in Meguntacook Lake, winery visit, and museums in Rockland are a short drive away.
The cottage itself was very comfortable, very well equipped, tv, wifi, washer/dryer, and a delightful yard full of flowers, places to sit, grill and eat outside on beautiful nights!
Thank you, Sara, we had an amazing stay at your Maine Squeeze!

Spectacular
We were lucky enough to spend a week in this fabulous cottage. It was everything that is described and more. Easy walking to the harbor and centrally located to go exploring for the ay. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon and evening was so peaceful and relaxing. Look forward to returning.

Beautiful Cozy Cottage
We spent a week in Maine and stayed at this adorable cottage. We walked in and right away new we chose the right place. The house (bathrooms) were really clean. And everything we needed was there. The beds were comfy and the location was central to everything we wanted to do on the coast. We could walk to the shops and restaurants in Camden which was really nice. At the end of the day we enjoyed a glass of wine on the back patio and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. The air conditioners were a plus too as it was in the the high 80's while we were there. We highly recommend this sweet cottage!

Exactly what we wanted!
We just returned from a fabulous weeklong stay at Maine Squeeze. We were two couples traveling by motorcycle from Michigan and chose to base our Maine stay in Camden. Great choice! The four of us agreed we love the area and our accommodations! We enjoyed the gardens and outdoor patio, the central location for heading north to Bar Harbor and Acadia, and south to Bath and Portland, the short walk to Megunticook Market, Mount Battie views, etc., etc. Additionally, the owner was very easy to work with and the VRBO description and details were spot on.

Great cottage in Camden!
Greatly enjoyed our time here. Very nice to have washer/dryer and kitchen. Short walk to downtown. Nice yard. Owner was easy to work with. We will be back. Stairs are steep so be prepared if you have physical limitations.

Comfy cottage with beautiful garden!
The Maine squeeze provided a comfy base for our stay in Maine. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities stated in the listing description. We loved the garden and had a relaxing lunch on the back patio. The walk to town was an easy half mile and the shops & restaurants in town were nice. We loved the Thai restaurant Long Grain and Cappy's clam chowder. The Megunticook market and the French & Brawn marketplace were good stops for our goodies for the week. Loved the Camden Deli and the view from the deck looking over the harbor. The view from Mount Battie is a must see and just a few miles from the cottage. I would recommend this property as it is a great location whether you stay in Camden or hit the road on day trips to places such as Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor, Fort Knox, Lincolnville, and Belfast. The Maine Squeeze cottage provides the perfect Maine experience. Thanks Sara for providing such a wonderful place for your guests.

Perfect in every way.
Our family of three stayed in this adorable cottage for a week in June. The owner was easy to communicate with, pleasant and helpful. The cottage is well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. It exhibits pride of ownership. We had a couple of days of heat and were grateful for the air conditioning. The location is within easy walking distance to the Main Street of Camden.
We hope to return someday in the fall. This is a perfect place to use as a base for sightseeing the lovely state of Maine.

Charm, Comfort, and Coastal Maine
Our vacation was wonderful. Having this charming cottage to come back to every day, made it all the better. We had relatives visit. They were so impressed. The owner was so accommodating with every inquiry I made. It was located in the perfect spot to take day trips to Acadia Park, Bar Harbor, and other equally charming towns. The cottage is fully equipped for meal preparation. I would recommend this cottage for your next vacation.

Ideal cozy vacation cottage with every amenity imaginable!!!!!!!
The "Maine Squeeze" Cottage is so perfect for the anyone staying on the Maine coast wanting a "cozy, welcoming home" to come home to! It had everything we needed: to cook, ( lobster of course), curl up after a long day, relax, and feel wonderfully on vacation! The cottage is immaculate, having a washer/dryer was great and every night when we pulled in the drive it was so inviting! It's just a few minutes walk from the main part of town and the harbor-so convenient! We love Camden, and it is so convenient to wherever you want to go. We highly recommend the "Maine Squeeze" and will return on our next trip back to Maine! Be sure to visit Megunticook Market just down the street!

Fall in love with Camden
My family and I just spent a glorious week at the Maine Squeeze. The house exceeded our expectation. It is even nicer in person than the photos show. It was so charming, with an excellent location. The garden is magical. It is within walking distance to the Farmer's market, town and the harbor. The owner Sara was delightful and helpful. We can wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again and again. Camden was our favorite town in Maine(and we just about saw them all!) I'm sure it would please anyone.
