We had a great Thanksgiving with our family at Roaring Fork. We enjoyed the river, hot tub and fireplace. We comfortably slept 8 people and had fun family game night. It’s conveniently located right off the highway so it was an easy drive to hot springs and skiing.

Lovely accommodations and amazing location!
We were delighted with our stay at the El Jebel property. My husband and I needed a safe and relaxing get-away for a few days in October and this place met our every need, and more! Everything was exactly as described, only even better - in a way that cannot be accurately conveyed in writing - there is a special feeling to this place that absolutely captured our hearts, and it is obvious that the owners love their special family home. We felt like we were staying with good friends, even though we never met, and we were delighted that they were willing to share such a wonderful place with us!
The property is beautifully furnished with everything any family could need for a fabulous stay, and it is spacious and accommodating for a large family. The prime location is an added bonus - away from any hustle and bustle, but so very close to everything. The very private and gated property sits right on the riverbank, with access to the river, and the views are beyond spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking wine and soaking up the sun and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day out exploring Aspen and surrounding areas. All the bedrooms were large, beautifully appointed, comfortable beds and an amazing master bath, there are 2 enormous and comfortable living spaces making it perfect for a big family or group needing to spread out. The cooks kitchen has everything you could ever need and was sparkling clean.
Our only regret was that we ever had to leave, but we will for sure come back again, soon I hope, and next time with our whole family!

Gorgeous Views & Great Fishing
Our family (2 Adults, 3 Kids age 3-8 & 2 Grandparents) stayed at this home over labor day weekend and loved it! The home is very comfortable and family friendly. There was plenty of space to relax both inside and outside. We went fishing every day and in the hot tub every night to watch the sunset. The home is about 25 minutes to Aspen which allowed us to go to town for ice cream and to play at the park. We loved our weekend and the river views were stunning! We can't wait to return.

Wonderful stay on Roaring Fork River
Beautiful, relaxing setting. Would never guess you’re 5 minutes from Basalt and Carbondale when sitting on the deck looking at the river. Joe and Theresa are amazing hosts; caring, responsive, and deeply knowledge about the roaring fork valley. Thank you!!!

Perfect!
This is a great location with a great view and access to the river. The house in wonderful condition and stocked very well. We caught fish right in front of the house, and most mornings included a visit from several deer in the yard. I have been in the Roaring Fork area many times for vacation and this is definitely our favorite place to stay. You will not be disappointed here.

Wonderful house right on the beautiful Roaring Fork River
We recently stayed at this beautiful house for a week. The house has a wonderful deck that allows you to see the river and the lawn and gardens are very inviting. The inside of the house is decorated nicely and has every appliance needed. The master bedroom and newly updated bathroom are very nicely done. This house on the river has fishing adjacent to the property, golf and biking are nearby. Further, the house is located within a mile or two to upscale shopping, including a Whole Foods. If you want to stay next to the river, this house has it all.

Highly recommend this home and plan to come back! Plenty of room for our two families of 4 - with room to spare! The deck is amazing and being right on the river was such a bonus. The men fished every day and caught many many fish! Great kitchen with quality cookware, loved the gas/wood fireplace! Great entertainment system for movie watching in the evenings -and the hot tub was enjoyed by both kids and adults! Thank you Joe!

Perfect In Every Way!
Not sure where to start, as we enjoyed everything about this home and property! The house is so very comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and I love to cook, so between the kitchen and grill, we rarely ate out during our week stay. Our dogs had a great time too, exploring the grounds and pasture. We enjoyed taking in the views of the Roaring Fork from the deck and hot tub. It was great to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the river. You can fish from the property and while secluded, the house is really close to shopping and lots of outdoor activities. The owners are wonderful people to work with so we have already booked our time for next year!

Great place to be!
We've stayed at this location 3 times in the past 24 months. It's a pleasure every time. It's a great location, great amenities and very comfortable. Sleeps our group just fine. Hot tub is a great treat. Proximity to river, restaurants, etc. just top it off. We will return as often as they allow and will book as far in advance as possible. It's just a really great place. Thanks Joe & Theresa!

Beautiful place to stay
My husband and I along with daughter, son-in-law and their dog spent 3 days in this wonderful house. It was the most comfortable, homey vacation rental that we have ever stayed in. It worked out great for us - we hiked during the day and it is close to hikes in Aspen as well as Glenwood Springs. We used the hot tub in the evening. There were lots of movies to watch and the deck is great for sitting out and reading My son-in-law loves to fly fish and it was so easy for him to just walk out back and fish for a while. The kitchen was great - we loved the waffle iron! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!
