Tamarindo Beach is a beautiful beach with amazing waves, sunsets and so much more. Tamarindo is a great town full of things to do, great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. People from all over the world call Tamarindo "home" making it a melting pot of experiences, food, and activities. Tamarindo has something for everyone...from family-friendly restaurants and activities, surf lessons, kayaking, boogie boarding, etc. to great restaurants, bars, and nightlife. There are amazing boutiques, souvenir shopping and great grocery stores, and farmers and night markets. Tamarindo is a great place to take a surf lesson or to hop on a boat for a day of fishing or a sunset Catamaran tour. We even have a skate park and basketball court for those who want something to do in addition to the beach. The Tamarindo Bay offers surf breaks for multiple levels of surfers and calm waters for those who just want to swim and float. The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball, or just sitting and watching the sunset. This condo is located in the heart of Tamarindo, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, located on the 4th floor with partial ocean view. Includes a/c in all rooms, cable TV, kitchen, shared swimming pool, and just steps from Tamarindo beach. Sleeps 6 maximum.
Safe and sound- The sunrise complex where this unit is located has 24 hour security and a secure parking lot. One care is allowed to park inside per unit.
Pool and beach- This unit has access to an oversized pool with a large rock fountain, perfect to lounge by with a book or to play water games with kids and friends.
Bed time. Welcome to the master bedroom. It features a king sized bed, full closet, tv, large windows with partial ocean view, sliding glass door out to balcony, and a master bathroom. The master bathroom contains a tile shower.
There are two other rooms in this condo. Room number one of the two features a queen sized bed, full sized closet and armoire and a door to the mini balcony shared inbetween this room and the third bedroom.
This next bedroom contain two twin beds perfect for the kiddos to use, a full sized closet and cable tv.
These two rooms share a bathroom with a tile shower.

The living room couch doubles as a pull out bed perfect for two people.
After a long day at the beach you are going to be tired, so plop down on your comfortable couch and watch some tv to relax. Or sit in the typical Costa Rican rocking chair that’s also in your living room.
The complex is called sunrise, but the sun rises early here so you could watch the sunset instead, from your beautiful balcony. You have a partial ocean view and you can take in the breath-taking sunsets Tamarindo has to offer while siting of the outdoor couch or at the six person table. You could even enjoy the sunsets while cooking dinner with the table top grill that is outside on your balcony.

Dinner, lunch, breakfast, midnight snack, whenever you need it your full custom kitchen is there equipped with a electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, fridge, granite counter tops and a three person breakfast bar. Also just past the kitchen there is a six person table where you can enjoy delicious family meals.

This is a beautiful and comfortable condo. Acrosd the street from the beach and easy walking to central Tamarindo. The property owners/management provided very nice welcome gifts and the accommodations were great. I highly recommend this unit.

Overall experience was quite good. Location was excellent. For the most part condo was well equipped. Only complaints were that the kitchen had 2 bowls. for a three bedroom condo that is clearly not enough for a family. Couldn't even have breakfast together as not enough dishes. Also, clearly dishwasher has not been working for some time and there was no mention of this in the add. For the cost of this condo over Christmas the dishwasher should have been in working order. All appliances were quite old and rusty on the outside. Rest of condo was nicely maintained.

Nice property, but poor communication with property managers
We were a last minute booking. The managers refused an early check-in, which is their prerogative. We arrived to discover the property didn't have internet; it had been disconnected. The check in paperwork suggested using the common area public internet (which also didn't work) so they were aware that there was no internet at the property even though the listing said there was. They said they'd send someone out on Monday, but that person didn't show up, and they couldn't tell us when they would get there (completely ignored me message asking after the no-show); they ultimately arrived on Thursday, without giving notice.
The property also didn't have a working phone so we could communicate with them, so I finally went and got a local SIM card to try to work out the issues. Then, we discovered that the cell phone number for the management company didn't work and they said their Whatsapp "suddenly" wasn't working either, so even with a local number, it was extremely difficult to contact them. Power went out the day we arrived, and the only way to contact them was with a US number (international). They did at least get the power fixed after a few hours.
The property itself is fine, although there are a few other maintenance issues they need to take care of. I suspect it had been sitting vacant for a while. If the management company was more responsive, I would give the property 4 stars, but they weren't honest in their listing, were hard to reach, followed up poorly, and weren't particularly flexible.

Tamarindo stay
What an amazing place to stay and visit. Everything is right there when staying in the center of Tamarindo . Shopping, restaurants, the beach. The people are friendly. The condo was perfect. The view was amazing. We saw howling monkeys on some mornings up in the trees. Security did their job well. Would love to visit again.

A large, airy 3 bedroom condo perfect for groups, though we were only two people. Well-managed and has everything you need, including a basket of beach towels. The view of the pool and ocean is amazing, and the covered terrace a delight. The elevator was out of service during our stay so we burned some calories using the stairs. Had a great stay. The only improvement could have been a friendlier driver from and to the airport. I usually tip generously but not this time. Note the proximity to bars and restaurants. We loved the location, but there was some noise on Friday night (only until about 10pm). The pool is fabulous, and we used it every day. Overall, highly recommended.

The place was wonderful - safe, spacious, convenient, beautiful views. The condo provided everything you could need. The beach just across the road was for surfers. Lots of people selling their hand made wares - & constantly interrupting. The condo had a list of places to check out. So the next day we went a recommended 'surf club' a little walk down the beach (to the left if facing the water) - much nicer to have a lounge chair and shade. Also a pool - but this pool was great too! Remember to call the rental agency before you set out - this is a little difficult to find (across from the Daria beach front hotel). And if you come in the rainy season, the agency does not exactly keep regular office hours.

The 3 bedroom 2 bath top floor condo was exactly what we needed during our visit. People live in this complex so it’s kept up very nicely. Everything we needed was at our fingertips: beds freshly laundered upon arrival and half way thru stay, kitchen had all cooking supplies. There is also a washer and dryer inside the unit.
All three bedrooms are decorated nicely. Each bedroom has its own tv. The view from the master bedroom is the pool and beach beyond. The other two rooms have an adjoining balcony that has a view of the lush greenery. We even got to see families of monkeys swinging from the trees close by, as well as one individual monkey close up. The living room and kitchen are separated by a counter. The 2 bathrooms have sinks, walk in showers and toilets plus extra space. Lastly. The main balcony off of the living room has a big table for eating outside. We were lucky enough to be joined on our balcony by doves. There was a nest with one bird and another would come sit with the one in the nest. It was absolutely wonderful!!
Half way through our visit, housekeepers came while we were out and folded the laundry that we had started earlier. They washed all of our bed linen and towels. We did not know this service was included but it was welcomed by our family. That day, we were all exhausted, so to come home to a clean place with fresh bed & bath linen and folded laundry was a nice surprise. Plus, the housekeepers made sure that the doves had seeds.
RPM was simply a call away. They picked us up from the airport, made arrangements for the rental car to be brought to and picked up from us at the condo. Then, at 4:30 am, they were available to take us to the airport.
All the amenities of Home away from home...
Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica.

Overall, the location worked out well. We very much liked the unit but it was in need of some maintenance. It was disappointing to see peeling paint within the unit. The unit also appeared as if it has not been cleaned in a while before we arrived or the cleaning was just not thorough. Because some things seemed dusty. The staff at RPM were nice and the the security staff at the gate were also great. I would recommend this place to others but I would definitely refer to the quality of the unit as a "budget" property so people don't expect things to be new and perfect.

Nothing short of fantastic. Management company went above and beyond, we had a problem with air-conditioning and it was fixed within the hour. We rented Sunrise #16 (3 bedroom unit) on the 4th floor recently. It was a great unit - well furnished with everything we needed, good wi-fi, and quiet as it is located away from the street. It is opposite the beach and centrally located in Tamarindo near restaurant & shops. Used RPM for booking and they were helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend this unit.

We stayed over 3 nights in January 2016. The condo is in great condition. Good water pressure in the showers and effective AC. Comfortable mattresses and clean linens/towels. Hard to beat the location; central Tamarindo withni just steps to the beach and the town's numerous amenities. We didn't use the pool. Street and condo noise were minimal/mostly unnoticed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We had no problems with RPM (management).

Perfect location to appeal to differing desires of surfing, beach activities, shopping, bars, restaurants, night life, etc. Would come back. Staff were very helpful but not needed much. Costa Rica in general is fantastic! The culture and people are very pleasant and friendly. Enjoy!

We had a great stay. The condo exceeded our expectations. It was open, light, clean, and had every amenity we needed (great AC, pots, pans, dishes, etc.). We'd definitely stay again.
I was a little skeptical about going through RPM since we had to send a check to a bank in Florida (they need to figure out a way to accept payments online with credit card), but it all worked out fine. Now that we know where they are, it will be easy to use them again. They were very helpful in booking the stay.

I love the location and view from Sunrise #16. With both of my sons with me having 3 bedrooms is great. My only complaint is that too many of the Sunrise units are rented to collage students that party beside the pool very late at night and make too much noise.
