Excellent home for a large family of 12 including small children and excellent location !

Property worked great for my family of 11 plus baby. Everything worked great and the house is outfitted with virtually everything one would want (in most cases multiple items of pots, dish’s, etc). One maintenance item was reported (part of from porch step broke off) and it was immediately addressed. Overall a wonderful experience for all.

Kenny Chesney Concert
Had a great trip with family and friends. There is so much to do in Big Sky. This property is fairly central to most things, only a 10 minute drive down the mountain to Town Center. The resort has plenty of activities also if you don’t want to do too much driving. The photos are slightly deceiving as this property is in a community with several houses very close to one another. Very little privacy. And the family room/kitchen area was small for our party of 8 adults. There is a 1st floor game type area which is great for kids but we visited in Summer and spent most of the time outside on the deck.
Management company was great and addressed issues right away.

We had a very special time in this house. There was plenty of room for 3 families and 14 people.

We had a few friends and family at this house. It's a great house in a beautiful and convenient location with amazing views. The White Otter Lift wasn't running, so we couldn't ski out - but we did ski in. The property manager is very easy to work with - the dishwasher stopped working while we were there and they had a repair person out to fix it within an hour. They were very professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the house was extremely beautiful and clean. The week that we were there, Big Sky didnt have great snow, so the ski in/ski out was not that easy. Other than that, the house was great and a close ~5 minute drive to the downtown area. The house was beautiful, and the management was very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend. Thank you!

Can’t wait to come back
Loved the place and the entire experience. The ski in/ski out was a little trickier than I expected, but I would still stay here again and it did not hinder the overall wonderful experience we had

Perfect for families
This property is beautiful and very well equipped. Plenty of bedrooms and areas for guests to spend time together or alone. Would stay here again. Staff was very responsive to needs. Great vacation home.

The view and location was great. The property need little love, bottom floor carpet was wet, glass shower doors stick so it made it hard to go in and out of the shower. The faucet on the main floor bathroom was loose. Then the water heater on the last day went out.

Perfect home in Big Sky
Every aspect of this rental was fantastic. The management company was extremely communicative. The location was excellent. The home itself was clean and felt “homey.” We were able to ski down the street to the White Otter lift and ski back to the house from the White Otter access bridge without any problems. However, if there was less snow this would have required a pretty lengthy walk both out and back in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious and comfortable. The owners have provided several additional conveniences (eg a dryer in the garage with attachments for 8 pairs of boots, a drying cabinet in the basement for clothing, and enough basic supplies to cover the week for laundry, dishwashing, and firestarting). We are already talking about returning for our annual ski trip next year.

Great Big Sky Cabin
Great house with accurate listing.
Only issue was it has the worst snow shovel ever, broken and there was 40 inches snow while we were there which made digging out impossible.
Would recommend getting a new shovel.
We had some issues with access codes but the management company always answered and took care of it right away.
Beautiful property. Pictures are accurate.
Ski in ski out will require some traversing and was very difficult for boarders but skiers had no issue.
Would definitely stay again.
Kitchen is beautiful and has more dishes and silverware than you’d ever need.
Great place.

Excellent ski-in/out house!
Great property in a great location at Big Sky ski resort. Our group of 16 had a phenomenal time, and everyone had plenty of room to sleep, which was great. The skiing in and out of the property is a huge boost as well. Hot tub is great, and living room / kitchen area were perfect for us to watch the super bowl.

This place was amazing, perfect size for our group

Good ski access, perfect house
Well-appointed house, enough space for our group of 13. Ski access was an A-; a little more traversing on level ground than I expected, but still way more convenient than parking at the base and taking a shuttle to the main area. Overall excellent experience.

Perfect place for a large group
We loved our stay and Manitou 13 as it was the perfect space for a large group and was easy to access. My only advice for people that have a group of our size is to be sure that you have more than one vehicle if you want to go to the mountain village. It is walkable, but not an easy walk, and there really aren't a lot of options for shuttles or Ubers. If you are on skis it is very convenient to ski in/ski out. The cabin itself was really nice and in excellent condition.

Amazing home in idyllic setting
The home is very well laid out - doesn’t feel cramped or lost - well appointed kitchen - unbeatable location

Ski In - Ski Out Paradise
This is a wonderful place for a large group to enjoy the Big Sky area. Everything worked. The kitchen had all the pots and pans needed. There were plenty of towels. The hot tub was clean and ready to go.
We really enjoyed the ski in/ski out location.

Everything about this place is perfect!
We were here for our wedding over an extended weekend and it was absolutely perfect for our cozy ceremony, the views are amazing from the deck and provided such a perfect back drop that people continue to ask who our photographer was. We had 10 people staying in the cabin with room to spare.
4.9
Great House for Groups!
My husband and I stayed here for a week with 4 other couples. The house was totally comfortable for a group of 10 adults. I imagine it would be great for large families or even two families with kids. The open kitchen, dining and living room made it easy to spend time together without being on top of each other. And the washer/dryer made packing for our trip much easier since we knew we could do laundry while we were away. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house for ten people, and we loved having access to a grill.
The morning views of the surrounding mountains from the wrap around deck were fantastic and a welcome change from the NYC skyline. And relaxing in the hot tub after skiing was the perfect way to end the day.
It was super easy to get to the White Otter lift to start the day. Getting back to the house was a little tricky, but only because the secondary trails weren't marked quite as obviously. After figuring it out the first day it wasn't an issue at all.
We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Big Sky.
4.9
Great family vacation
This was our 5th trip to Big Sky and we always stay at Powder Ridge in the log homes there. The accommodations are perfect for families and the ski in ski out convenience makes the trip even better. Cant beat it! Seew you again at Christmas.

Hot water
For the most part, the house was definitely nice. It came pretty stocked with towels, plates and cups, and cookware. Bed sizes and quality were nice. Nice view. In general, it appeared very clean.
The showers had shampoo and soap dispensers, but they were empty (or at least those in my shower were – I didn’t check the other showers). Not a huge deal.
The ski-in ski-out is probably about as advertised – possible, but not ideal. It’s enough out of the way that we ended up eating lunch at the resort restaurants rather than making the 45 minute round-trip to the house and back. But you won’t need your car to get to the resort which, for us, was the main benefit.
We had the hot water heater go out on night 1 (probably a fluke). Then, due to some error where the maintenance man went to the wrong cabin (also probably a fluke, but annoying nonetheless), it wasn’t fixed for about 24 hours. And then it didn’t recover for another 4 hours or so b/c there were 16 people trying to shower.
That was annoying, but the main problem was the undersized hot water heater. This place sleeps 16, there are 4 showers (really 5 because one has two faucets so 2 people can shower at the same time) and the hot water heater looked to be 80 gallons (assuming there wasn’t a second heater that we couldn’t see). 80 gallons is standard for a house of 4-5 people and 2 showers. Since we were all skiing (and thus needing to shower in the same afternoon/evening timeframe), we ran out of hot water every single day. I had one single hot shower in the 4 days I was there. Not so awesome. Sure we could have spaced out our 16 showers over ~6 hours so that the heater can recover but should we need to do that when we’re paying this much per night for a house? My recommendation to management is to spend the extra couple hundred dollars (a fraction of a single night’s stay) to upgrade this system. Currently, it’s a million-dollar house with a huge [and avoidable] flaw.
There was an outdoor fire-pit on the deck that we wanted to take advantage of (we could see our neighbors enjoying theirs) but were not able to. The fire-pit was placed under a roof-line, was covered with a tarp, then [predictably] the roof snow fell onto the tarp and froze. It hadn’t snowed for 2 weeks before our trip so this was an old event and should have been taken care of before we arrived. We tried to free the tarp, but with hundreds of pounds of snow/ice on top, we weren’t successful.

Wonderful slope side cabin
This cabin is outstanding. Everything is top of the line and meticulously maintained. We couldn't have expected anything better than what we received. The convenience of being able to ski on and ski off is priceless.
4.9
Flawless
The property exceeded our expectations. From the setting to luxury conveniences, all aspects were flawless. Our party was mostly interested in Yellowstone, but we also took advantage of horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and hiking in the Big Sky area. The Restaurant at Rainbow Ranch, approximately 20 minutes from the property, was exceptional.

Review of Powder Ridge Manitou 13 cabin
I have stayed at this property several times and have enjoyed it very much. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from the deck is beautiful. I highly recommend a stay at cabin 13.

Big, Beautiful Mountain Cabin!
I stayed here with 12 family members and we had plenty of room. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. I loved the kitchen and the huge deck! The Vacation Rental staff was very responsive, providing us with great service while we were there. This is definitely one of the nicest vacation rentals I've ever visited and I highly recommend it to anyone.

A piece of heaven
This gorgeous house is spacious, comfortable and quiet. There is room for everyone to gather together and room for everyone to have their privacy. The views are spectacular and it is close to many great hiking trails. The kitchen is well-stocked and each bedroom feels like its own luxury hotel room. My family and I were able to have adventures during the day and then relax in the outdoor hot tub at night, while taking in the view of the mountains. Sometimes a fox will come by to visit or a deer. My sister even saw a moose. Can't wait to go back!

Steve
We have stayed at this property several times and always notice the updates. Over the years the owners added a larger washer and dryer, fire pit with very comfortable chairs, new duvets, boot warmers, ski racks, a Keurig coffee maker, more kitchen items, robes, a keyless garage door and main floor entry, and a bigger grill. They obviously listen to suggestions from renters. We think this cabin has the best views and the easiest and flattest driveway. We had older family members that appreciated the handrails in the bathroom and the step into the garage. Looking out our windows we've seen moose, a fox and three babies, a bear, and deer. Yellowstone is about 45 minutes away. We love visiting the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Lake Hebgen, Virginia and Nevada City, Ennis, Butte, and Livingston. The most exciting trip was through Bear Tooth Pass.
