About this home: Cottage-style, two-story 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sits in a nice, quiet community - just a bike ride to the beach! Great area for kids!!! The development is along the Assawoman canal with direct access and a boat ramp. Fish and crab in the bays north and south! Unit includes bicycles and 4 kayaks!
Master bedroom is on the first level as well as the eat-in kitchen and open living room. Just up the stairs are two large additional bedrooms and a bright full bathroom. This is an end unit with a large shaded deck and lots of privacy.

Includes use of 8 bicycles, 4 kayaks, beach chairs, beach toys!
Hi speed wi fi! Gigabit wifi available.
Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer-all new appliances . Parking: 3, under the house.
Extras: 4 Smart TVs. Outside shower, Large second story deck and huge ground level picnic table with a large new gas grill*****
Note: we prefer to rent weekly during the summer. Renting Friday to Friday helps you avoid the traffic and enjoy the weekend! We are flexible, however.
This is a family-oriented community so we do not rent to groups under the age of 28.

We were happy to find this property for a few nights. My husband, my daughter, a few college friends, and me found plenty of room in this three bedroom home. And having a master suite downstairs and the additional two rooms upstairs gave us all the privacy we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything, including pots, pans, a blender, and cookie sheets. Pretty easy to get to the beach: my husband would drop the beach stuff off with me in the morning and he (and later the girls) biked over. If you're a walker like me, there's a walkable neighborhood across the street from the property's entrance (Black Gum Dr.). Having canoes, as well as access to the canal steps away, was a bonus -- something different to do on vacation. I recommend this property to families with kids of all ages.

I love everything about this place. The location, the decor, the amenities...Definitely great for family and friends. We love having bikes and beach equipment available for us. It is such a lovely touch. The only thing I noticed is the house moves a little bit since it is a stilt house. I am not used to it and thought there is an earthquake, haha. Otherwise, we have all amazing things to say, and the owner of the house is awesome and very helpful.

The house was clean and quiet. The bikes were rusted beyond use and the kayaks were full of spiders, mosquitoes and not near the water. So we were unable to use either.

The property had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The owners reached out on check-in day to make sure everything was acceptable, then again on the day of check-out to make sure we had a great stay. No complaints at all from us regarding this property or the owners! Thank you!

We loved our stay! Six minute drive to Bethany Beach Boardwalk, we made good use of the provided beach chairs. Also had fun kayaking in the nearby canal. Friendly, quiet neighborhood with some good places to walk dogs. One note - the front door doesn’t lock from the inside. We have little ones so we blocked them from opening the door by dragging a chair over to it. We didn’t take the trolley but there was a stop in the next neighborhood over. Lots of bikes included, so this would also be great for a group of friends in their 30s who are want to be close to the beach but don’t want to be around loud parties.

Reminded me of good times on past vacations. So happy to have a great place to spend time with my family. The neighborhood is small and friendly and the house is cute with a well equped kitchen and working grill. Found that Fenwick State Park was the best bet for going to the beach--didn't want to walk on the highway with the children. Kids loved kayaking, playing games, and eating crab at a nearby restaurant.

We loved the house, access to bikes, and proximity to multiple beaches. We also took the kayaks out a few days snd we experienced the kindness of many in the neighborhood who helped us figure out good entry points. It was extremely hot the week we visited so the shadiness of the river/canal was welcome and we saw multiple herons each day. Our teens rented surf boards at Bethany Surf Shop Outket and had a blast surfing the z Indian River Inlet. All in all, great house and surroundings. Only issue we had was with the traffic on the road to enter and exit the cottages- nothing the owners can control- but not a great road to walk or run, which we all like to do without mhavong to drive somewhere. Thanks for a great place!

I stayed here with friends for a week in July and had a great time. I’ve been to Bethany several times but this was my first time at this property. It’s an end unit and blocked by trees on two sides so it felt very private and the parking spaces are large. The decor is dated but the house was SO clean that we didn’t mind at all! The bedrooms are big and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The boardwalk area is a few minutes drive and easy to navigate. There are all the usual beach shops there and a few chic boutiques. If you want a less crowded beach without shops and restaurants, head south ten minutes to Fenwick State Park. We all enjoyed our stay at this property and I would absolutely stay here again! My only suggestion to the hosts is to get a couple of big comfy couches or a sectional for the living room. We found the furniture in that room to be a bit uncomfortable after a long day in the hot sun.

Stayed at this Bahamas beach home in Bethany for five days recently with my adult children. It is a bit far to walk to the Bethany Beach but It was a great location for us because we enjoy fishing and have to drive to the Delaware State Park beach to do that during the day. This house is in a very cute neighborhood and gave us a nice beachy vibe. I do agree with the previous renter that the furnishings and carpet are a little dated, but hey you are at the beach! The kitchen was very well equipped, everything we needed as far as utensils and cooking appliances. In addition there was a selection of spices and some coffees and filters, Plastic wraps and foils, toilet tissue and paper towels, etc…. the types of things that you hate to have to run out and buy immediately at the beach! We took advantage of the kayaks and really enjoyed a day of kayak fishing at the Fenwick Island kayak launch area. All appliances and the grill were in great working order and we had no problems at all! Enjoyed our stay!

We did a 4 night stay with my two young children. The property was very clear and well equipped with lines, bath towels, and kitchen supply. They had a Keurig and a tea pot which was a pleasant surprise. VERY cute an quiet neighborhood with a pond. flat streets perfect for the kids to ride bikes. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Great location. In quite setting. plenty of parking, well stocked, very close to center of town & activities but away from traffic. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants away from town. Wound rent this unit again. My only suggested enhancement would be a 'in-town' parking pass..

There was a problem with the air conditioning. I contacted the owner and he handled it immediately! That was more impressive since he was in France! The place was clean, quiet and close enough to everything to be fun and away enough to be relaxing!
