Fantastic location for exploring Wallingford and Fremont, with bus stops to get to most anywhere within a 5-15 minute walk!
A small, quaint location that had just what we needed for our time there! The location is shared with two other "apartments" connected to the house, one occupied by Garnett, the host. During the three weeks here, we never heard any noises from the other parts of the home.
Garnett was an amazing host! Very responsive and considerate. She even dropped off fresh-picked blueberries for us one night which was incredibly sweet!
Overall, the property suited our needs perfectly for the price point and we loved our time here! Would absolutely recommend!

We wish that we had a second home like Garnett's place! The sound of the fountain under the weeping cherry tree was welcoming, as was Garnett herself. The furnishings in the one-bedroom apartment were appropriate to the 1920's wood-framed house, but very thoughtfully laid out to make the space inviting and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped; every need has been anticipated! We loved the decorations that we might have acquired on our travels ourselves. All this care made it second nature to care for the apartment as if it were our own. Garnett's description of the location, its proximity to restaurants, and the strollable neighborhood are all accurate. This is the first time I've stayed someplace where the host has put a nosegay of garden flowers on the bathroom sink!

We loved this cottage and remarked it was one of the best places we have ever stayed.

I was delighted with our stay in this lovely little bungalow inside a historic home in a great neighborhood. Everything was in bloom and the welcoming garden and fountain was so soothing. We attended a family graduation at Seattle University and this was close enough and so great to come back to after the the traffic and parking in the city. Our host was lovely and thoughtfully provided us with many comforts of home. The bed was quiet and the room was nice and dark. The electric fireplace was a romantic addition as were the fresh roses out of her garden. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Apartment was charming, comfortable, and well-equipped. Garnett was great host and thought of everything a traveler might need. Great location - walking distance to grocery store, neighborhood restaurants and pubs. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Conveniently located near the university area and good driving access to the city as well. The unit was very clean and cozy for a small family. I would definitely recommend this place if you like to stay in a quiet neighborhood with parks around

We had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Seattle. Garnett was a great host and her Seattle bungalow was great. The location was perfect for our needs. The property was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we get back to Seattle.

A unique tucked away gem, but blocks away from bus transit, restaurants and shops makes this place an oasis in Seattle. Garnett thought of everything, right down to toothpicks! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Walking in the neighborhood and gazing at picturesque bungalows was lots of fun. The apartment is very well appointed and our host has prepared an excellent guide of good restaurants and fun things to do in Seattle. Very conveniently located!

This place was amazing! Book it now! We stayed here for 3 nights leading up to our cruise sailing from Terminal 91. Weighing the options between here and a downtown hotel, im so glad we stayed here. Lyft/Uber is plentiful in this neighborhood, wheras fellow cruisers were having trouble in the downtown area finding a ride. Our host was incredibly warm and friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. The apartment was full of lush flowers and greenery and i couldnt wait to open the windows every morning to have the aroma of lavender spread throughout the apartment. All amenities needed for a 3 day stay were provided. We particularly enjoyed seeing all of the small artistic touches throughout the apartment that made it feel like home. The architecture of this beautiful craftsman home was beautiful and very well kept and very clean. Thank you for making us feel like family in this big city. ❤️

This is a lovely cozy attached unit surrounded by nurtured and inviting gardens and art. Perfect vibe and neighborhood for our needs this trip. Parking was always simple and close (we were visiting in summer-so the school across the street was not in session). I so appreciate a host leaving a binder, labels, and notes with helpful "operating instructions".
Two things to mention - the shower is VERY small. I'm not big, but I am tall - I couldn't bend over to pick something up that I dropped- had to squat (which luckily! I'm still able to do). I tried to imagine a person the size of my nephew (who is a big person, not obese) using the shower- I don't think he would have been able to use it.
Also, we were just two people, but used both the bed and the sofa bed. We were charged a $20 fee for the set up of the second bed.

This place immediately puts you in a Zen state of mind. Every evening we sat in the garden out front enjoying our wine. It was so calming. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Loved being able to walk to the grocery store, wine store, and dinner places. We are planning to go back next time we're in Seattle.

Great location and neighborhood
I loved the outside gardens for my morning coffee, & the coffee that was provided was excellent. I didn’t even want sugar, or creamer! I we enjoyed our location & cozy apartment. The only draw back was the tiny shower & bathroom. I barely had room to move in the shower & every time I did shower the water turned ice cold on me for some unknown reason. My guess is water was being used somewhere else in the house…..not sure, but not a fun experience. With no room to move in the shower & random water temp changes, I dreaded my showers. Everything else was great though.

Lovely Seattle Bungalow Stay
A vintage find of high quality. It was a pleasure to spend time here. The personality of the host Garnett shines throughout the fun quirky decor and colorful finishing touches. The appliances have all been updated and everything works well. The apartment is long and narrow but well laid out. The front room is inviting and bright. The evenings were chilly enough to take advantage of the elec. heaters provided. Recycling: yes. A large binder of household info: yes. Ideas for doing and eating in the binder. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt safe. The 4/5 stars on location is due to the teeny streets and limited parking. This seems to be the reality in many areas of the city we encountered. Thanks. Sandy and Glenn, Minnesota.

Beautiful garden with interesting art and sculpture. Great house with eclectic decor. Great mattress and pillow. Slept really well. Easy access to public transportation. Diverse offering of cuisines within a 5 block are on the main drag: Thai, Vegan, Mediterranean, Italian, Indian, Afghan. Garnett has thought of everything; we lacked for nothing. Highly recommend this property.

Coming to Seattle from the mountains of Montana can be stressful due to the traffic and noise, but this place was so peaceful! All I heard were the birds in the lovely garden. The apartment was very cozy and well appointed. It was a perfect location. I was in Seattle to visit with family and friends, yet each time I returned to the apartment I thought it would make a perfect location for a spiritual retreat.

Spotless, quiet, great location, great communication with host
This was my first trip to Seattle in many years and I so appreciated Garnett's answering my many questions in advance of check in. The apartment was spotless, there were some helpful staples in the cupboard and the grocery store is just a short walk away. The beds were comfortable and the memory foam was a nice addition to the sofa bed. Although there is no dedicated parking we were able to find parking close to the house without difficulty. The only small drawback was that with sunrise coming so early at this time of year the living room is bright early and my friend who was sleeping on the sofa bed ended up using an eyeshade in order to sleep a bit later. We loved walking everywhere and enjoying all the spring gardens.
