The Pirate's Cove sits high on a bluff and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Tomales Bay and Bodega Bay. Watch the deer roam the neighborhood and the hawks soar. This is the perfect house for large family gatherings. The kitchen and dining area are very expansive and can handle large parties. You can enjoy incredible sunsets from the kitchen or the dining room table. The sun room is a fantastic place to relax and read a book or bring out the board games and enjoy the views. This home has views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, dining room, sun room and master bedroom. The back yard is fenced with a BBQ, patio area, picnic area and stainless steel sinks. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has something for everyone in the family. There is an abundance of wildlife at Dillon Beach. Just a 1 minute drive to the beach or a short walk down the hill.
The Dillon Beach general store is close for your shopping needs. The Dillon Beach Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to venture out you can travel to Pt. Reyes and get Oysters from the world famous oyster farmers in Marshall known as Hog Island Oyster Co. or Tomales Bay Oysters. With two full baths, 3 bedrooms, views of the ocean and a fully enclosed yard, this home is very comfortable for a large group with dogs. The beds are quite comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, gadgets, appliances, etc. We also used the BBQ in the yard; plenty of space there for corn hole! It is, however, necessary to drive down to the beach, as this home is at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean; beautiful views!

We enjoyed a mini reunion at this home, which was very neat inside with enough rooms to accommodate us, the kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The outdoor space could use a little love.

This house is perfect for large family gatherings that include small children and pets. The house was very clean and well stocked! There is ample space for gathering and the decor and furniture are durable and not fragile which is a relief with small children. We felt completely comfortable there and even the small kids want to come back. A huge plus is the fenced in yard where you can set up outdoor games and not worry if kids or pets are going to run off. The owner was SO considerate, responsive and helpful. We felt well taken care of !

We were looking for a place where family members from central and Northern California could gather to celebrate the holidays - fro grandchildren to grandparents (us). The kids loved the solarium and the adults loved the open kitchen. All love the beach - a drive away. perfect for our visits!

We had a wonderful time eating, playing board games, spending time at the beach with 70 degree weather, and a fun trip to Lawson’s Landing. Pirate’s Cove is the perfect place for a family gathering, our Golden Girl Alice had a fun time at the beach with some four legged, furry friends. Lots of laughs and good memories had. Thank you Shiela for the great communication and for the hospitality!

Nice accommodations with view of the ocean. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of wildlife roaming around. The house is up the hill so driving down to Dillon beach is recommended. If you're up for a challenge walking is doable. We would rent again for a large gathering. The host was great to deal with and answered all questions quickly.

Very roomy house, owner was quick to respond about unavailable hot tub. Was disappointed about no hot tub, and we couldn’t figure out getting Netflix on, but we weren’t going to let it bother our stay!

Pirate's Cove is located on a bluff above the Pacific and has ocean views when the fog isn't in. The house was clean and in decent repair. The kitchen was clean and extremely well-equipped for a rental house--there's everything you could need to prepare delicious meals. Everything was working, and there were no unhappy surprises in this house. There were games, movies, and music CDs if you prefer to cocoon at the house. There isn't much happening at Dillon Beach other than a long, wide, and easily-accessible beach, but it is convenient to Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, restaurants, and wineries. The owner responds quickly to messages.

This house was as listed! There was plenty of room for our large family to visit or have “alone” time. Plenty of towels and bedding. House was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve large family meals. Communication was excellent with host. Hope to return soon!

This house worked well for us. We hope to come back again. The kitchen has much of what you need for your stay. The master bath and bedroom is very roomy. The views of the ocean make the day along with the wildlife seen from the windows.

Great family home and pet friendly. Worked perfectly for our family. Short drive down to the beach. Fun seeing the cows in the field looking out front and the ocean looking out back! Lots of quail and deer sightings too.

We enjoyed staying at the house. It was a little tricky to share 2 bathrooms with 10 people but we made it work. The only complaint is that the hot tub didn’t really work and didn’t get hot or stay hot so we weren’t able to enjoy it. Otherwise the house had everything we needed.

We had 9 women for a bachelorette weekend and the lay out of this house was perfect! The sun room was lovely, we spent half of our time there. The open floor plan with the kitchen was perfect too, we could all be in the same room when cooking our meals. The beds were comfy, lots of extra linens which I always appreciate. The only thing lacking in the kitchen was a drawer with ziplocs, plastic, foil etc. Maybe there was one but we didn't find it lol. The pictures were a little deceiving, we thought we were closer to the beach and didn't realize that it was a 1 mile walk down the very steep road. We would be prepared for that next time. I highly recommend this home for a group of 8 or 9 people. And the hot tub (and Dale, the security guard) were perfect. Also, if you go don't forget to go look at all the stars in the sky!!

We definitely will be back. Plenty of room in this beach house for all 10 of us. Sheila was so easy to work with. We love Dillon Beach and love this beach house. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, large refrigerator in the kitchen, loved the sunroom for eating our meals.

We had a great time and enjoyed the house very much. The house is well stocked with just about everything. The mattresses are great too. The house and decor is outdated but everything works.The home is very comfortable and feels like a home. We spent much of our time at the beach and the surrounding area so it was great to come back, cook big family dinners and enjoy our evenings together. Thanks Sheila for hosting us.

This home had just about everything one would need. It accommodated my family very well. It was very clean and tidy. A bit outdated. I do wish the kitchen items were a bit more organized. There is a mish mosh of gadgets in every drawer and hard to find things. We do wish the place had some beach chairs and was a little more tidy at the front entrance. FYI There is a birds nest to the right of the door that should be removed once they all leave the nest so it doesn’t attract any unwanted critters.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Shiela’s beach house. The booking and check-in process was easy. Shiela was responsive and easy to communicate with. The property is very spacious to accommodate our group from 14 yo to 84 yo. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the kitchen supplies to cook our meals and we didn’t have to eat out. The neighborhood is very quiet and we love the deers that frequent the area. We’ll definitely rent it again for future get together.

We were a little concerned when we first arrived by the poor condition of the outside of the house. When we opened the door we found a time capsule of a home. This place has everything you could ever need for a family reunion. It is large and clean. It looks like nothing has changed since 1980, but yet it was comfortable. We enjoyed each other’s company and that was what was most important for us.

We were 7 people with 3 dogs. The neighborhood is walkable even for seniors, with great views of the ocean and the surrounding pastures. The proximity to the huge, dog friendly Dillon beach is perfect. The house is clean and spacious . The kitchen is extremely well stocked with EVERY pot, kitchen tool, pan and small appliance you will need. Nothing is fancy -towels, blankets, dishes, silverware are assorted, but plentiful. Owner is lovely, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this property.

This house is comfy and relaxing with everything your group will need for a great stay. Plenty of room-comfy beds, views! Quail, jack rabbits an deer wondering by evbery day. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The kitchen has all kinds of plates, cookware, appliances. The owner was wonderful- answered all of our questions and responded to all emails, even called us. We will definitely stay here again.
