Welcome to Casa De La Mar, where "Mi Casa es su Casa" is taken to heart. This lovely three bedroom, two and a half bath home, is situated on Marine Terrace, one block east of the water, and a short distance from the trail head to the Ranch. You can hear Seals barking, waves crashing and watch the sun set on the horizon, while your worries melt away. Soak in the hot tub on the deck to add to your relaxation. A large high definition TV is in the living room. A computer with internet, as well as a wireless conection, are available. The bedrooms have a king and two queen and a sofa sleeper in the living room, enough to accommodate up to 8 guests. It is spacious enough for a group of eight, yet cozy enough for a quiet romantic getaway for two. Pets are welcome, too!! TOT#6010896

We have been visiting Cambria for 15 years and have been staying in rental houses for the past 8...we've stayed in every neighborhood possible and in all different types of houses...Casa Del Mar is one of our absolute favorites! It was our first time staying here and we will definitely book again. The location is incredible. It's a 2 minute walk to beach access and 6 minute walk from Fiscalini Ranch. The house is spacious and perfect for accommodating a large family or multiple fams. We stayed with our 2 children, our dog and my in-laws. The house is set up with the master bedroom on the top level, and 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level which makes it perfect for privacy and space when traveling in a larger group. The amenities are great...loads of towels and linens and a well-stocked kitchen. One suggestion would be better wine glasses...we brought our own, but the house definitely lacks proper wine glasses. It has a good assortment of other glassware, mugs etc. Furniture was totally fine in terms of a rental (the sofas are a little tired, but overall still very functional and clean). The house was very clean overall...our only hiccup was that the third guest room bed sheets weren't freshly washed, but the onsite washer/dryer made it an easy fix. As the house was super clean and accommodating in every other way, we didn't feel the need to complain and assumed that it was an oversight/mistake. The hot tub was a major perk (they keep it very clean, and we even had a jaccuzzi cleaning service come while we were there). The house is dog friendly (whoop whoop) and well positioned for a day of adventuring, whether its hiking on the ranch, heading to the beach or wine tasting and window shopping in town. Thanks Casa del Mar....we will be back!

The home is very charming and spacious for a family with kids. Loved the jacuzzi and the open upstairs living, dining, and kitchen areas. My family enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Few items that I would recommend:The shower head needs to be updated. While I understand and support water conservation, a strong mist makes it difficult to get an adequate shower and shave. A good deep clean is needed. I have dogs and my allergies still flared up in this home. Also under the couches and chairs it was quite dirty.

This rental was perfect for our large family including adult children with a baby of their own, plus our fur babies. The home was clean and beautiful with all the amenities we needed. It was really nice to have a full kitchen and laundry, plus a fully fenced yard for the dogs. It would be great for extended stay vacation. It had a beautiful view from the upstairs windows. Beds in 3 different bedrooms plus a fold out couch bed in the main living room upstairs but off to the side so it didn't feel like it was in the way when in use. 2 1/2 bathrooms made it convenient, we never felt like anyone had to wait long. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location, close to nice walking trails overlooking the ocean, which our dog loved. Nice quiet safe neighborhood. Close to town for groceries and dining. We enjoyed the hot tub. There were a few opportunities in kitchen, nothing major. Overall, we had a nice stay.

We really enjoyed this house. The only problem was that the bed(trundle) in the 3rd bedroom (the office) was pretty bad. Our son couldn't sleep on it. We would like to come back to this house sometime, but only if the bed is replaced. Also, FYI, many of the light bulbs in the kitchen are burned out. That didn't bother us too much.

We've rented this house before and love the location--Marina Terrace between Lampton Cliffs and the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. This time, there were a few glitches, very unusual in our 20+ years of experience working with Cambria Coast Rentals. There was sour laundry still in the washer, no bathroom linens out, hot tub non-functional. Still, we enjoyed our time here with our little dogs.

The layout of the house was even better than we'd expected for our family trip with two elementary-aged children, their parents, and two grandparents. The master bedroom is on the top floor, along with open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining room. On the same level is the deck with the hot tub. Downstairs are the large second bedroom with the queen bed, and office with a day bed with trundle. It was ideal for us to be able to have the grandparents on the main living level all the time we were at home, and we were able to have a somewhat separate space when needed for our immediately family, as well as having the kids in the room right next to us without stairs being a factor (which is always scary at night in an unfamiliar house!).
The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, utensils, and appliances.
There were games, puzzles, and quite a library of children's books in particular that we enjoyed.

Great location
The house itself was in great shape, clean and what was described in the description. The check-in process was ok, but the lock to the box was extremely hard to open even after being told to pull hard on the lock. I do wish the back yard was fully enclosed so that the dogs could have been able to walk around the yard instead of being on a leash. The living room, kitchen and main bedroom is upstairs so be prepared to climb some stairs everyday. The rules for the house are very clear and the instructions for the appliances and hot tub are very easy to read and understand. My only real complaint is that I did try to call and even email the property manager and never received a response, but overall the house is in a great location and close to some beautiful beaches. I would rent this property again.

Casa La Mar is very spacious and functional to dinning in and relaxing. Loved the view and location to hearing the Ocean waves. Only negative to our stay the need of up keep. Front door Jams, One Recliner needs to be fixed and Bed Spread and blanket in Master need to be washed. But overall we would stay here again.

Great Location!
We have rented a few houses in Cambria and this is so far the only one we would rent again. The location was great, just a short walk to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve! Also being able to see & hear the ocean from the house was wonderful! Just a short walk down to a great place to watch the sunset & get your toes in the sand!
The house could definitely use an update but that wasn’t a deal breaker. The hot tub had great pressure even with a few broken jets. Hot tub could use a little more privacy, but with all the lights off in the house & outside the stars at night are amazing!
The sheets in the upstairs bedroom are very soft! I wish I knew where they got them. Bed was a little firm for us but not too bad.
Nice to have a garage we could park in, pro-tip: park diagonally! Garage door might need a new battery soon, it was slow to respond ;-)
My biggest complaint was some of the windows were in bad shape, one actually was coming apart & almost all of the windows we wanted to open had large holes in the screens. The blinds & the windows were very dusty & had a good amount of cobwebs, which is disappointing when staying in a house filled with windows by the ocean, but we managed.
The house is pet friendly, which is great for us, but unfortunately the carpets reflect it. The carpets were so filled with stains that we didn’t even want to walk barefoot. They may not all be pet stains, but if the house is left closed up while the sun is out, there is a certain odor. Also, carpet in one of the bathrooms is just an odd choice, at least in my book. You are just asking for smells & stains! Yuck! I never understand why people who rent out their home to people, especially people with pets have carpets…just rip it out & go with laminate, wood or tile & call it a day!
I hope they fix the screens & get rid of the carpet, but even if they don’t, we will probably stay here again. The neighborhood is quiet & friendly & the location for us is great. We love Cambria & until we can buy our own home there, we would happily stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality.

Great location quiet neighborhood
Location and chicken is excellent. You would need to drive to a store as there are no with in walking distance. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor which share a full bath on the top floor there is a master and a bath and a 1/2 with living Room and kitchen and dining. The home is stocked with very basic types of spices items that you don't normally take on a vacation. The home is a nice home however it's interior showing its age. The 3rd bedroom is more like an office/kids room with trundle. The downstairs was extremely cool. Portable heaters for ground floor would have been nice. They had done some exterior improvements and there are notes which indicate certain things will be fixed. The windows were very dirty and the windows are old. Need to be replaced. It was windy during my stay and you could feel the wind around windows.
The space upstairs was roomy. TV system is different in each room. Some were more challenging then others to operate as there is multiple remotes 3-4. Nice newer induction stove, multiple none completely functioning toasters.
With all the available renters in the area, I probably would not rebook this one...but haven't seen other rentals. I want to make a fair statement for the rental.

Enjoyed the stay
Short walk to the beautiful ocean setting. Very large house with plenty of space for social distancing. All the amenities one would need. Place has carpet throughout. Luckily my dog did not mistake it for grass during our stay. A much needed enjoyable stay. Would stay there again. Thank you.

Spacious, comfortable, a bit dated.
The house has a nice open layout upstairs. The deck off the kitchen with grill and hot tub is great! The décor is a bit dated, but everything seemed clean and well maintained. Master BR is upstairs, other two BRs are downstairs. I noticed the master has a huge closet that would definitely fit a pack n play for a baby/toddler if needed. The house is close to the water and hiking area which we enjoyed, but FYI no sandy beach in the immediate area.

We had a great stay at Casa La Mar. The pluses are the terrific location just steps from the tide pools and the Bluff Trail in Fiscalini Ranch Preserve; all of the rooms are very large with lot's of room to lounge. Our family of 5 were very comfortable. The decor and carpeting make the house dated but we enjoyed our stay and due to the large size of the rooms and proximity to the ocean, we would consider staying here again. We had an issue with the sound on the tv and Scenic Coast Property Management took care of it right away.
