About this house rental

Nicest location in town! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The Pond Winslow homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en-suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom handcrafted bunk-bed (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted Keurig pod or drip coffee (get some fresh roasted beans from Uncommon Grounds, just two blocks) - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!

Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. Utilize the chain ferry and walk or ride your bike to the beautiful Oval Beach. Easy drive to the many local golf courses, Fenn-Valley Vineyards, Crane's Apple Orchard, Dune Schooners and other area attractions.

Beautiful old house with lots of room. The outside property is excellent with plenty of space to hang outside!! The house is very close to downtown which is most awesome!! We would definitely stay there again!!!!

This house was fantastic and everything was as-promised. The historic house is well-kept, the yard and firepit absolute perfection, and it was great for two couples and kids. My only small issue was the light coming in in the morning in the upstairs rooms - the house faces east and the blinds provide privacy but no darkening. Curtains would be really nice. The kitchen had literally everything we could ask for, and the firepit and grill had tons of tools (kept in the old outhouse lol.) Good communication with owner. Note, though, if you are coming from another time zone, VRBO might have the wrong check out time, the correct one is posted inside the door (10am).

Awesome place for all our needs, esp having parents who needed a handicap accessible room. The outdoor patio and fire pit were great! Very fun place to grill for a group. Also very close to downtown!

The house is the best place to reconnect with family and friends. The location is great for outdoor exploring, great restaurants and fun shopping! Always welcoming no matter the season. We stayed winter, spring, summer and fall. Just wonderful!

We were in town for our son's wedding. This house was absolutely perfect for our stay, coming back to relax after our events. I would highly recommend this as a getaway. Very clean, exactly as described! Such a wonderful, older, unique house!

This is our second time staying at the property. We love it's proximity to the downtown area and the house itself is great. Lot's of space to hang out, clean, and well appointed. Owner is super easy to work with; check in and check out are a breeze. We had a lovely girls weekend in Saugatuck.

We loved the house! It was perfect for us, our kids and the 4-month-old grandbaby. Super close & enjoyable walk to downtown. The town in February has enough options for food, drinks and shopping, but I will say lots of places are closed in the winter/off-season. We had a wonderful time relaxing at the house.

This was a fabulous house with a great location and amenities!!! The location was so close to all the shops, restaurants, and bars. Everyone had a great time and will be back. The house was very well stocked with items you would need. The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had.

It was beautiful and well appointed. Furnishings and amenities great. Only 2 small issues; a few upstairs pillows kind of flat and all 4 of us were surprised and disappointed that such a lovely home would be supplied with 1 ply toilet tissue!

My family stayed here for a short fall getaway and the house was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed. It's just around the corner from downtown Saugatuck making it a very short, easy walk to everything you want to get to. Check in and check out we're very easy and seamless, we'd highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

I have been coming to Saugatuck for 25 years. This is the first time staying in a Vrbo. The experience was the best. Winslow house is very clean and comfortable. The location is the best. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you would need. The thing I liked most is it is quiet. We are looking forward to coming again.

While I felt that the listing looked perfect for our stay, the property was even better than I’d hoped. The house and yard is super spacious. The kitchen was stocked with every gadget and utensil needed. We loved having breakfast on the enclosed porch. We ate lunches at the kitchen table. And dinners were served in the dining room. Lovely. The fire pit was great to have and we used it every night. Ample firewood and accessories were much appreciated. Side note: If possible, bring your own pillows.

The Winslow House feels historic and welcoming. Plenty of space to come together for meals and enjoy the garden, with comfortable bedrooms. We had two families of four (4 adults, 4 children) all together and look forward to our next visit
