You can also swap from one of our properties to another as available if needed. Additionally you can see all of our Airbnb listings at our Airbnb host profile page.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ABOUT PRICING. We have been a primarily longer term housing provider for 25 years but pricing on Airbnb is very hard to communicate and set, as it's impossible to know the dates and circumstances of every possible guest's needs in advance when we set pricing. Pricing may vary significantly depending on length of stay, specific dates, etc. For longer term stays there may be discounts possible.

Capitol Hill is an outstanding neighborhood. It's historic, charming, and ideally located at the absolute geographic center of DC. Terrific safety, with the US Capitol police patrolling the area. Home to many politicians, media figures, etc.
Corner groceries, pharmacy, great diner and dry cleaners a two minute walk away.
Eastern Market (farmers market and baker/butcher etc) is a few blocks away. Amazing restaurants and lively bars within blocks!
Whole Foods and several other supermarkets in the neighborhood.
Five blocks to metro orange/blue (Eastern Market Metro). Union Station train station is nearby. Union Station is home to the major sightseeing tours. Capital Bikeshare kiosk is a couple minutes walk.
Uber and Lyft and cheap and very easy to get here.
DC Circulator metro rapid bus transit also very close by.
Stunning view. Gorgeous renovation. Great spot to use as home base to explore DC. Fantastic neighborhood for longer term stay also.
Inquire about parking PRIOR to booking please. There is very little need to bring a vehicle, as there is great metro and bikeshare access, and rideshares are inexpensive and readily available. Most places you want to go to in DC won't have parking when you get there. 24/7 street parking near this property is possible with a street parking pass, which can be obtained from the DC DMV with a copy of a lease and vehicle information. It costs around $250 for a six month pass. Free street parking with no pass needed is free and open to all every night, all weekend, and two hours each weekday. We have about five offstreet parking spaces in the immediate area. We rent them from neighbors. IF a paid space is available they usually go for $300 a month. Union Station parking garage is five blocks away and can do monthly rentals including oversize vehicles for around $300 a month.
A word about rates:
Since every booking is different the rates listed are an approximation. Rates are based on length of stay, specific dates needed, amenities requested, etc. Bookings less than 91 days are subject to the DC lodging tax of 15.95%. SINCE EVERY INQUIRY IS DIFFERENT AND THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN PRICE IS THE SPECIFIC DATES CHOSEN AND LENGTH OF STAY RATES MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER THAN WHAT IS POSTED. PLEASE INQUIRE SO WE CAN DISCUSS PRIOR TO SENDING A BOOKING REQUEST.
Fall and winter months are very high demand, moreso this year than ever before as this is the first year that many federal agencies and private employers are bringing people back to DC, and they are making up for lost productivity during Covid.
And of course it's a presidential election year.
Most furnished housing providers in DC will only take bookings for three months or longer during these months. We will do less, but the rates do go up. And generally we try to match an incoming booking with an apartment that is available within a week or so of the requested date. For instance if you are seeking a month rental beginning July 1 we would want to match your request with a property available in very late June or July 1. If the property you inquired about seems to have an availability date that may not match up then you can always check HERE see all properties and their available dates.
Our average booking is around four to six months. We are primarily a longer term lodging provider. We can do shorter, but in the furnished housing business rates go up for shorter stays.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.

This property was just right. Full size bathroom, living area and kitchen and bedroom. We were only 31/2 blocks from Metro South station which was easy to take everywhere. Also, the circulator bus will take you to all the monuments and it’s only $1. Lots of great restaurants on Pennsylvania Ave. The Corner Market was great too. We walked the capital grounds everyday due to our location. It was super safe too. The management was very responsive with any questions we had. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone visiting the area.

Pleasant stay in a fantastic location
Unit was clean, quiet and perfectly situated for a great stay in DC. Be sure to get some free OJ from the Florida house next door!

Convenient location
Everything a small group needs for a stay near the Capitol.

Great location, great for pets
Really great space directly across the street from the Supreme Court and near Capitol Hill. Apartment has a back door to a little courtyard and alley access that’s perfect for chilly morning dog walks (and single-door entry in pandemics). Kitchen has basics-plus on cookware

Great place, spectacular location
Very responsive with minor problem, place was everything I needed (full kitchen, comfy bed, pet-friendly, LOCATION). For covid times, back door allows non-shared door entry and exit.

Last minute Supreme Court Trip
My wife and I felt compelled to come to Washington DC to pay our last respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We found this cute spot RIGHT ACROSS the street from the Supreme Court Building. This place is just as described on the listing! We felt very safe and “at home” in this 1 bedroom spot.

Convenient and Easy
Nice apartment in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. Communication was easy with property management. The toilet ran intermittently and was a tad annoying, but I didn't complain. I'm sure they would have addressed it i had mentioned. I would stay at on of their properties again.

Location location
This was a good stay, a small-ish hotel room size condo, but great location.. I think you could hear the Supreme Court discussions from the sofa:)

very convenient location
excellent location for tourists to visit the museums and main monuments. Safe and very quiet neighborhood. Comfortable apartment, exactly as described on website. Manager was friendly and quick to respond to our requests.

Great location
Perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere from this location. Had a few minor issues with sheets not appearing to be clean, but manager brought new ones when I contacted him. I asked for a parking pass when we reserved the place and it made Street parking perfect right around the corner. Not a palace but was overall a good place. I would stay again.

Fantastic location!
The apartment is right behind the Supreme Court building, and is perfect for sight-seeing and traveling up and down the mall. It is an easy walk to a couple of different Metro stations, and the city bike share program. There are numerous coffee shops and restaurants near by that are phenomenal.
The accommodations themselves are very clean and well kept. The building is older, and has the characteristics of an older building that has been retrofitted for newer technologies. The bed is very, very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to store luggage and clothing. The air conditioning had already been turned off in the building, and it was a little warmer than comfortable one night, but the other nights were fine. We did not feel the apartment was muggy, as some other reviews have stated.
The apartment is very quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with the appropriate equipment. Brian was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. Would absolutely book again.

This apartment could not be better situated for visiting the mall and other major DC attractions. It is on a lovely block and is a short walk to Union Station. The host sent very helpful information in advance that made finding and checking into the space very easy. And it does look like the photos on the listing.
However it was very muggy and wet in the apartment, no matter how low we turned the air. The dryer did not work, although there is another one in the building. During our 4 day stay there was a smell of wet paint and extremely loud garbage trucks outside the bedroom window every morning. If you are up early and don't mind indoor humidity than you'll be good to go.

Wonderful accomodations!
Very professional. Would recommend to anybody.

Convenient location
Great location, but the apartment was small for a family of four. Would not recommend more than two occupants at a time. Also, because this is a "basement" apartment, it was bit damp. The AC worked well, but just could not overcome the notorious August humidity in Washington. Parking was non-existent; but the public parking garage at Union Station was only a fifteen minute walk away. The locks were easy to operate, and the apartment was safe and secure.

Great location
Located right behind capital square, gave us a perfect location for visiting DC. Kitchen and appliances are new. Couch and dining room chairs were fine, but could be updated. We ate at Cafe Berlin and loved it! We'd stay here again.

Nice flat. Close to everything!!
Enjoyed being so close to the monuments!!
4.7
Great place, Excellent location!
The apartment was perfect for my three week stay. The location is incredible. I walked out the first morning to see the Supreme Court building across the street. The back side of the Capitol was a block walk away! Close to the Metro and great, safe neighborhood. I plan on staying here again!

Awesome Location!
We stayed in this great apartment while in D.C. and it was perfect! It was roomy, comfortable, quiet, clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. When we were ready to go out, it was just a quick walk to the Capitol, Smithsonian museums, the monuments and other sights. Plus, it was close to a Metro stop (Union Station) for when we wanted to go further around D.C. The surrounding area had plenty of food options for going out to eat, as well as places to pick up groceries for when we wanted to relax and dine in.
This was exactly what we were looking for, five stars!
