A lovely beach house in Gearhart. Very clean and a well-stocked kitchen. Access to the house was seamless and easy. The house was well organized and comfortable with lots of nice chairs and couches to lounge in. The outdoor patio was lovely with a 360 view of summer flowers.

Our family of four - parents with a 19-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter - enjoyed a delightful overnight stay at the Seventh Street Cottage in Gearhart. The charming blue-shingled exterior and cozy beach-style interior immediately made us feel at home.
We loved the cottage's proximity to the beach, taking a peaceful evening stroll along the shoreline. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare a family dinner, which we enjoyed at one of the wooden tables. Later, we gathered around the wood-burning fireplace for a competitive board game session.
The two bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, ensuring a good night's sleep for all. We appreciated the various entertainment options, including WiFi and Roku, though we spent most of our time enjoying each other's company.
While our stay was brief, we could see how perfect this cottage would be for a longer vacation. Its location near Cannon Beach and Seaside offers plenty of exploration opportunities. Our son was particularly intrigued by the nearby Gearhart Golf Links.
Overall, the Seventh Street Cottage provided a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience for our short family getaway. We left wishing we had more time to fully experience all that this lovely home and the quaint town of Gearhart have to offer.

Our second time at this lovely cottage and we were not disappointed. A beautifully appointed spacious cottage in a quiet large lot neighbourhood. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen made our stay most enjoyable. We were lucky with the weather so the outside dining table on the patio was well used. A short walk to the near empty beach was ideal for dog walking.

Overall it is a nice house in a great location near the beach and McMenamins Sandtrap. Home has everything you need and is clean. We had some trouble with ants in the kitchen and didn't hear back from the property manager on any sort of resolution. It happens, but made it difficult to use the kitchen well. It was a nice home though and we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Location - The location is a quiet neighborhood one block from the golf course. Easy walk to the beach and golf course. Size - the house is quite large with plenty of room for folks to gather or have privacy. Price - This home is the least expensive in all the North Oregon Coast. Which explains why it's rented all the time. Well stocked - there are plenty of dishes, glassware, pots & pans and utensils. Home is very well equipped.
Cons: Communication with VACASA and local people - We had a couple of issues during our stay. With the first one they were super responsive. Our 2nd issue was they gave us 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults staying 6 days/nights. We communicated via email asking for more and got NO response, so we ended up buying some. BAD form Vacasa, bad form. Upkeep - The home is older and in need of some upkeep. The kitchen faucet doesn't work as well as it should. One stove burner caught on fire when we turned it on due to accumulated grease on the foil covered burner pan. we got the fire out and my wife put new foil on the burner pan (we had to buy the foil because none was in the house. The family room in the back stays way warmer than the rest of the house. It's a forced air system that's not very efficient. Therefore, the family room stays too warm while the rest of the house is too cold. Overall, we will stay here again.

Was surprised by an Elk in the driveway. Our favorite rental from Vacasa. PERFECT!

A wonderful house with a lot character, just a few blocks from the beach. There’s only a few businesses in Gearhart, a bakery, couple of coffee shops, couple of restaurants and a few others. It’s peaceful and I haven’t found another spot quite like it on the OR coast. A truly relaxing place to vacation.

We were in town for a girls’ weekend, and the Great Columbia Crossing. Gearhart, the Ridge Trail, and beach were perfection. Weather was unbelievable too! We had an excellent time at this cottage. Great stay and place to chill out.

This place was amazing. It was clean and on a quiet street. We had elk walking down the street, just down the way from the beach. Very close to Seaside, Cannon Beach & Astoria. You will totally enjoy staying here.

Great location - we were in Gearhart for a golf tourney weekend - so location to golf course was perfect! And a nice little walk to the quaint downtown for coffee and muffin two mornings - very walkable to that area. Great parking and very peaceful location - totally residential - no condos, etc. big lots as well. Nice out door space to relax in the back yard. Interior was OK … kitchen clean and serviceable. Bathroom had been remodeled and the beds were comfy. Input from me a well seasoned traveler and vacation home owner; lose the OG flatscreen tv with VCR/DVD combo and standard cable and get a Smart TV and let people use their apps (Netflix, Prime, etc). The VHS is a little janky … I know grandma likes it or liked it … but time to let it go!! And i makes operating the TV to watch basic cable a pain in the butt - there were five different remotes! That is not user friendly. Sofas in the TV lounge - dated and kind of soft and a little spent. But I get it - it works and it’s a rental. The whole unit - the furniture is dated - but it works. Bathroom fan sounds like a 747 is about to take off - not a big deal though. The fridge had condensation build up so a pool of water cascaded onto the top glass rack - owners probably don’t ever know this as they live out of town. Had all the kitchen amenities we need - coffee been grinder and decent knives and cutting boards. We ate out every night. It was clean though - I’ll give them that - so good job Vacasa.

Great location, off the beaten path and quiet, but close enough to all the main attractions and tourist towns. House was well stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. The VCR and video tape collection was an impressive blast from the past~

My family and I stayed here for 5 days recently and it had just about everything we needed. There was some confusion about wifi and getting the shower to work. It took a long time for anyone to get back to me about the issues. But the house itself was good. Loved having a toddler bed for my littlest one to use!

It was a nice place to stay and definitely fit the beach. Dog loved wandering around with the kids when we were at the cottage. Great location for escaping to the gearhart beach, which was fantastic for the dog to run and play, and the kids explored and had a blast. The throwback vhs was a good touch, though should get your hands on the goonies.

The house was great. Good location, nice and spacious. The kitchen had everything you could want. Only recommendation would be to put some nice outdoor patio in the back to enjoy meals and relaxing.

Overall had a good experience. The place was extremely clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The only negatives were: 1) no patio furniture on the back patio, 2) no propane grill, and 3) no electric fans. Fans are a basic necessity in an area that can get hot (as it did for us) so this was a surprising oversight in a home without A/C. Also the lack of propane grill and patio furniture was a bit surprising but I figured there was no grill from the listing and planned accordingly. Still, would return to this home on a future trip to the area.

We love this place
We have stayed here several times and find it quite casual and suited to our lifestyle. Only one small criticism - 1 and 1/4 rolls of toilet paper are not appropriate for a week long stay. I’m sure it was a simple mistake but thought you should know.

Lovely, spacious 7th Street Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home and have booked a return visit. Terrific location, within walking distance of a neighborhood coffee shop where the locals meet for friendly conversation. Also a bakery, art gallery and a small restaurant. Two living rooms enhance space and privacy. Overall extremely satisfied and what a great property during summer weather.

Cozy and well-appointed
My family and I spent a week at the cottage and had a wonderful time. It was clean and had everything we needed for cooking meals. I had to work remotely, and the lower living room was perfect for stretching out with my laptop in front of the fireplace. We had plenty of room and loved the quiet neighborhood. There is an excellent selection of books in the house - I wish I'd had more time to read! - as well as games and puzzles. The beds are so amazingly comfortable, but I caution that the bed in the front bedroom is definitely not a queen size. More like a full, and definitely pretty small for two adults. The carpet in the front room is heavenly to walk on. Feels like you're walking on a cloud! I would definitely book this property again!

The home is so cute and comfy with a fully stocked kitchen and lots of extra touches. It is also spotless! The beach was lovely … we walked for ever!

Nice, clean, spacious and quiet
7th Street Cottage is a nice, clean, spacious home perfect for a getaway! It is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of busy coastal towns. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are fully stocked; I did not need to use the stuff I brought from home just in case. The house is on a good sized yard, which is a nice break from inner city multifamily housing--no common walls!! Despite being dog friendly, the place was clean of any odor or dog hair--I didn't have to worry about my belongings smelling like dog or being covered in hair when I returned home (unlike other places I've stayed, LOL.) I give it 5 stars and would definitely stay here again :)

We will be back!
Spacious house with two separate living areas made it easy for my husband to wake up early with the kids and not bother anyone still sleeping by going to the far living area of the house where they couldnt be heard. 1 minute drive from the beach. 10 minute drive to Seaside. Great patio in the back for BBQing. We walked to the McMinniman sand bar for a drink. Would 100% stay again and look forward to doing so!

I’ll start with the good. Overall the place is perfect for a quiet get away, close enough to fun things but far enough that it’s quiet and roomy. Our one issues was that the place was not cleaned prior to us coming. Beds not made (don’t know if bedding was washed?), trash still in the trash can and a bag of trash next to the trash can, sink was not cleaned at all, and coffee pot was not cleaned like the grounds from the previous person were still there. Luckily the people before us were fairly clean but it was clear that it was not cleaned. It took a very long time for us to get ahold of anyone that we ended up cleaning it ourselves which was not a fun start to our vacation. Once we got ahold of someone they were very helpful and apologetic. Other than that the house itself was great! We loved the large table for puzzles.
