We were three families with kids ranging from 4 to 16 years old. We enjoyed this lovely traditional shore house over a long Labor Day weekend. It is ideally situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to the beach, and just a short walk to the best bakery in Wildwood! We enjoyed everything about our stay here and hope to stay here again next summer!

This home is great for a larger group. I stayed with my brother and his family - 7 of us altogether. We used the porch for family meals and games. The garage has multiple beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards, beach combers, sand toys - all you could want! It was our 2nd stay and we hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was big enough for all of us. Everything we needed was in the house for us and all of our events or activities were in walking distance. We made great memories hanging on the porch and enjoying time together. Thank you for letting us use your home!

It was such a gift to be able to return to the beach house from my childhood! The porch is still the best one in the Crest, and the house hasn’t lost any of its charm. We just love this home and the memories it has.

We had a great time at the house. It was close to the beach, and easy to get to the boardwalk, a quiet neighborhood we felt comfortable in, easy access to groceries, and with a porch that we had great fun sitting on.

As advertised the porch makes the property. The house is very old but that gives it a unique and comfortable feel. Plenty of room for the ten of us. The house could use a little work on the upstairs shower but it still did the trick. No complaints here!

This is a beautiful historic home. Perfect for the beach and with everything that you could need in terms of deck chairs and boogie boards. We had a group of 8 (4 kids - 12, 12, 14 and 17) and the house still felt spacious. We loved the veranda and loved the outdoor shower even more. Try Rick’s seafood in N Wildwood if you’re looking for great sea food. Order the night before and eat it on the porch.

The house looked so lovely, smelled great, looked clean. All went very well for all but one who was allergic to something in the house??? He had to sleep outside in the Jeep camper. We knew they rent to dog people and that was fine as we have dogs. If there had been cats there that could have been the issue, but who knows. Our son in law has allergy problems, but nothing as bad as this ever occurred. He loved the porch! Thanks

We had 10 guests and there was plenty of space. Truly the best vacation at the best home in the Crest

The vacation rental was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. We had 8 adults and our dog and there was plenty of space for all of us. We spent most of our time either on the beach or sitting and enjoying the awesome large porch.
Learning the history of the house was beautiful and to see original pieces inside was priceless. The communication between the owners was prompt.
It was our first time in Wildwood Crest and thrilled to have rented this beautiful historic home.

We had a wonderful time at this home. It's very well maintained despite its age and you can tell there's a lot of love here. It's situated in a great location just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. It was perfect for our family and dogs.

There was some dog hair from the people before us, but overall it was very clean. The location was great for going to the beach. The porch was fantastic. We were out there every morning and every night. We discovered a great bakery around the corner from are house and went there three times for their Apple fritters they are delicious. I would highly recommend this house. Thank you again we had a great time.

No exaggeration, it is a great porch. We spent many hours talking, eating, reading and just relaxing on the porch. The house is very old and dark but it has a quaint relaxing feel to it. The inside shower is an antique tube updated but the outdoor shower was so wonderful we never used the indoor one. We were close to the beach and the Boardwalk which was great with small children. Also Britton’s is right around the corner for coffee and their amazing apple fritters.

Great location and porch.. outdoor shower was very nice! House is dark inside- not good lighting. Walk through room carpet was full of pet hair.

Fun property. Great for the Bear foot country concert. If you are looking for a five star hotel you won't find it in this area, but this house was full.of charm and clean. Very old home, but that's what we loved about it. It was in the 90s and it stayed cool the whole time we were there. Our favorite thing was the porch where we spent most of our time in rockers and grilling. We rented a golf cart to get around. It's hard to park and drive a large vehicle in that town. The beach was only a couple of blocks away, but the board walk is closer to a couple of miles. It's walkable as long as you don't have anyone with bad legs or feet though. The host was always quick to answer and was amazing. They don't provide sheets and towels but everything else is there. You can rent those from Wildwoodrentals.com The sheets and blankets were very clean through them. The host provides beach chairs and toys and bicycles so you don't need to rent those. I would highly recommend this property

Loved the location! Perfect space for a large group of friends. At first glance the property is a bit outdated and dark, but the vibe was vintage, and there was more light after we opened the window shades. Outdoor shower was a huge plus. Owner was helpful and responsive. A few things were a little less than clean when we arrived (crumbs, dust, toilet); otherwise no complaints.

My experience at 207 East lavender Wildwood Crest New Jersey, was extraordinary, I particularly enjoyed the large beautiful wrap-around front porch, with picnic tables and BBQ Grill, and the Beautiful Golf Course like backyard was perfect for sunbathing, and the dog having plenty of room to exercise, house was Immaculate clean, with beautiful extraordinary wood work throughout the house particularly the staircase, floors walls and ceilings, I had such a wonderful time I hope I can book it again!!! I'd like to go back in September on the second Sunday if possible???

We loved our stay at Wildwood Crest! Cindy was so easy to communicate with and as we were the first guests of the season we also met her husband. They are such kind, wonderful humans and kindly responded to any questions or concerns we had. Our Memorial Day vacation in Wildwood was particularly memorable for the 6 tween/teens we brought who were able to venture to the boardwalk on their own, ride bikes to the beach and enjoy the porch and sunshine. The sleeping situation was perfect for our 3 families, and everyone slept comfortably.
Best of all, there are bikes and beach chairs and games galore, which helps minimize packing too much stuff! The porch was great for evening cocktails as well as morning apple fritters from the local famous Britton’s Gourmet Bakery.

This early 20th century home is so charming and great for families! We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of space for all of us. The porch was great for enjoying meals outside, and we were grateful for the bikes, beach chairs, and sand toys in the shed. The home feels dark inside because of the wood, but we enjoyed the special touches that made the home interesting. Open windows provided a lovely breeze, and at night the window AC units kept us comfy. Easy to walk or bike to the boardwalk, and even little legs can walk to the beach from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed this home!!

This large, beautifully maintained beach house had plenty of room for our family. We spent a lot of time on the front porch for meals and relaxing. It is an easy walk to the beach, boardwalk, and many restaurants. A great property that we hope to visit again in the future!

Very pleased with our stay. The back yard and deck are wonderful. We cooked most of our meals on the grill. Great property for large family with pets and convenient to everything. Would stay again!

Yes, this house is quite old. Some of the doors scratch the floor and terribly squeak since the floors have warped. But the house has obviously been loved for many, many years. The air conditioners all worked (some are newer than others) as did the plumbing. The sinks are apparently original, but I found the double faucets really charming. The heater functions very well and the water warms quickly (whether you're using the upstairs or outdoor shower).
The owners have made check-in very simple and there is so much space. We were a group of ten friends and never felt cramped (except when everyone pulled all the rocking chairs to one side of the porch). The grill was relatively easy to use, and the kitchen is absolutely stocked with grilling seasoning and other spices. We grilled, we cooked, we baked. I microwaved on lazier days.
The walk to the beach is short enough (~10 minutes) that we would go and come back a couple times a day. We made good use of the coolers and chairs provided. The Wildwood Boardwalk starts nearby, there are plenty of rides and other attractions along the stretch. Some of my friends rode the bikes in the garage on the boardwalk.
If you don't mind the antique look of the house, I really can't imagine a better deal.

Great home with many original features. There was a lot of space and the outdoor shower was a bonus we didn't expect to use, but it was actually fun! The owners were friendly and helpful as we had many questions when booking. The only concern we had was the cleanliness of the home and porch. We needed to clean the dust/dirt off the corners of most rooms the and off the lamp plugs. We also had to clean off the fans and wall unit air conditioner blades. The beautiful porch had sticky drinks stuck to the floor and on the picnic tables. This caused a lot of flies. Once we cleaned everything we really did enjoy that great porch!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location and proximity to the beach and boardwalk were wonderful! However, if you don't appreciate historical and rustic homes and you're looking for modern, this isn't the place for you. We had dinner on the large porch every evening. The home was stocked with everything you could need! We had no issues keeping the home cool and actually liked that room temperature was controlled by each room. The garage full of chairs and beach toys was a major bonus!! Only suggestion we'd offer is better and brighter lighting. Despite the windows, even in the daytime the house seemed dark and dingy, probably exacerbated by the dim yellow lighting. Other than that, we were very pleased!

We enjoyed this charming beach house. Plenty of room for all of us. Meals on the porch passed out through the dining room window were fun for all. Great outdoor shower and lots of beach chairs and bikes in the garage. The hosts were terrific with communication especially since we were there during the recent tropical storm and they wanted to ensure our safety. A great stay.

Don't let the wooden look fool you, this is an amazing house. Very spacious, many rooms with almost 2 beds in each. Back yard is huge with a spacious shower. All in all, a great time in this house. The breeze from outside kept you cool during the day, while the ac kept you cool at night. The owners are very responsive to anything that may come up and assist you to fix the problem. The wrap around porch is probably the best part, very spacious, bbq grill on the deck, just a great time for everyone!!!

We have rented this home for about 5 years. We always feel as if we have come home to spend our beach vacation. The house has great character with it’s early 1900’s architecture, wonderful porch and lovely back yard. It is well located about a block away from Bretton’s Bakery and a short drive to supermarkets and drug stores. Many beach amenities are provided such as bicycles, beach toys and chairs. The house is big enough for our family of 10 without feeling cramped in any way. All in all, we have always felt very welcome and hope to come back again next year.

This is a very spacious quintessential Jersey Shore home. We were a 5 member group so we had plenty of room to spread out. As many other reviews have stated, we tended to live on the porch and had all our meals there. A big plus that it is so dog friendly. The location is terrific, easy walk to everything.
I spent the summers of my youth in Ventnor and Ocean City, great to be back at the shore with family and friends 60 years later.

Beautiful Shore home! Quiet, yet close to all the attractions. We, along with our extended family, fit very comfortably. The outdoor shower and the large front porch are two of the best features. We ate dinner every evening on the porch, and enjoyed the rocking chairs later in the evening. The boardwalk is a short walk, which the kids loved. Golf was a short drive for the men, and it wasn’t far to the beach. Grocery stores are walkable or a short drive, and there are restaurants/ice cream close by. We all had a fabulous week.....hated to leave. Hope to return in the near future, once we organize everyone’s schedule. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Our large family stayed in this beautiful home and it was perfect for us. Here are the things we especially valued:
-- The layout of the house was just right for our big family
-- Comfortable furnishings that were also kid friendly
-- The porch with the two big picnic tables and the wicker rocking chairs. We spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the breeze
-- The lovely yard, so nice for the kids to play in after a day at the beach
-- The location of the house, away from noise and bustle, but handy to everything WWC has to offer
-- Linens provided. This relieves so much of the stress of being sure you remember everything
-- Dog friendly
-- The historic nature of the house, particularly the beautiful interior walls and ceilings
The owners are kind and responsive. The information provided in the welcome packet was full and complete and enabled us to get the most from our stay. We highly recommend this property. We've stayed a number of times in Wildwood Crest, and this is our favorite spot.
